In fact, at 22 and heavily pregnant Julia will claim that she does not know what to expect regarding giving birth because her ''parents did not tell her.''

Reno splashed Aerith from head to toe with ink and sneakily cut off so much of Cloud's hair that he was left with a bald spot.

* TheFashionista: Yuffie, out of all people. Julia also places great emphasis on her clothes.

Moved Ron theDeath Eater to the YMMV tab.

Between the ages of 14 and 18 (2002-2006), Sephirothslave wrote her two "novels" Shinra High and Shinra SOLDIER, boasting a total of 169 chapters (170 including the epilogue) of meandering plot lines. What starts off seeming as a typical HighSchoolAU turns out to be her attempt to write the history before the story began.

** [[IdiotBall Cloud The Idiot:]] When she actually manages to lock down a personality for Cloud it's a pathetic, wimpy coward who manages to lose his ID card by getting it stuck between his teeth.
** [[VillainBall Zack The Mysoginist:]] Zack gets turned into a violent, petty, and sexist asshole, who delights in torturing Sephiroth and Julia in anyway he can.
** [[ClassClown Reno The Prankster:]] Depending on whether she likes Reno at the moment, Reno is a clumsy, lazy, idiot who is failing every class, and is known for deadly pranks.
** [[BigBad Hojo The Sadist:]] Hojo goes from an ambitious, amoral scientist to a violent psychopath who delights in torturing anybody he can.
** [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking Aerith the Friendly Helpful Cheerleader:]] Special recognition goes to Aerith, who is actually portrayed relatively close to canon. The few scenes she gets she's optimistic, smiling, friendly and helpful. For some reason, everybody hates her, and the audience is supposed to understand why.

The fiction is well known for several reasons. In addition to its length, convoluted plot and the blatant MarySue qualities of Julia, it is a mouth piece for the [[AlternateCharacterInterpretation Jenova Possession Theory]], which claims that Sephiroth was not the true villain of the series, but rather an innocent victim, being controlled and or commanded by [[EldritchAbomination Jenova]]. In addition to this, Sephiroth Slave claims to be an {{Otakukin}}, and that Sephiroth is her astral husband. Finally, it's famous for butchering nearly every character in ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyVII'', and getting nearly every aspect of the story wrong.

Sephiroth Slave returned to the series to attempt to rewrite it, but gave up after only making superficial changes to the first nine chapters.

A sporking of it in it's entirety, as well as many other fanfics and essays of Sephiroth Slave, can be found [[http://lian-hua.livejournal.com/ here]]

wrong.

* DidNotDoTheResearch: In spades, but mostly when it comes to the lore and history of FinalFantasyVII.
** Her knowledge of military training and boot camp is astonishingly bad as well.

* AngstWhatAngst: Julia's tragic past or present will be instantly forgotten whenever the plot needs to advance.
* AlternateCharacterInterpretation: The series runs on it. In addition to the entries under DracoInLeatherPants and RonTheDeathEater, the entire series was written to defend the concept of the Jenova Possession Theory.

* DesignatedHero: Julia and Sephiroth perform outright atrocities and even genocide, yet they are invariably considered the heroes.

* DracoInLeatherPants: Sephiroth of course. Bonus points for being a character who canonically wears leather pants. The entire story is focused on how wonderful a boy friend he is, even though he's a rather lousy one, and defending his actions in the game.
** Tseng also gets this, but to a lesser degree.

* MarySue: Julia in spades
** AntiSue: Julia has a lot of flaws designed to deny being a sue.
** BlackHoleSue: Everybody obsesses over Julia. Probably the biggest example is Yuffie, who allegedly is Sephiroth's closest friend, obsessing about how much Sephiroth should be with Julia instead of with Laura, despite him being perfectly happy in their relationship.
** GodModeSue: Julia has some of the most powerful magic in the world, and is physically able to keep up with super-human Sephiroth, surpassing everybody else in her class. No explanation on where she got these powers.
** JerkSue: The number of people Julia is nice to can be counted on one hand. At one point she says she has no problems killing people, and this is treated as a virtue.
** MaryTzu: Julia allegedly is a tactical genius. So is Sephiroth.
** RelationshipSue: With Sephiroth, obviously.
** SympatheticSue: Has tons of drama so that we're supposed to feel sorry for her.

* {{Wangst}}: Julia will go into full on depression when the story is lacking drama. Often on things that happened years ago.

Sephiroth Slave wrote her two "novels" Shinra High and Shinra SOLDIER, a total of 169 chapters (170 including the epilogue) of meandering plot lines. What starts off seeming as a typical HighSchoolAU turns out to be her attempt to write the history before the story began.

----
!!The series consists of:
*AmanIsNotAVirgin: Averted. Julia seems outright pleased by Sephiroth's lack of sex drive.
*Animesque: Julia attempts to portray the school as a wacky, violence-filled warzone with poisonous cafeteria food, like something out of RanmaOneHalf. It fails to translate into prose well.
*AngstWhatAngst: Julia's tragic past or present will be instantly forgotten whenever the plot needs to advance.
*AlternateCharacterInterpretation: The series runs on it. In addition to the entries under DracoInLeatherPants and RonTheDeathEater, the entire series was written to defend the concept of the Jenova Possession Theory.
*BerserkButton: So many people
** Julia: Any threat or insult to Sephiroth, or implication that she's gay.
** Sephiroth: Any threat or insult to Julia.
** Hojo: Disrespect him in any way and he will torture the entire class.
*BFS: [[SignatureWeapon The Buster Sword]] is now standard issue for all Shinra grunts.
*Chickification: In addition to Tifa becoming TheChick, Julia herself manages to go through this, switching from a FauxActionGirl to a full fledge DamselInDistress after the Wutai arc.
*CombatPragmatist: Julia is perfectly willing to go for [[EyeScream eye-gouges,]] [[KillItWithFire fire-enhanced [[GroinShot Groin Shots]], hair pulling, anything to win. Worth noting that most of these attacks were in an exhibition match, and are generally considered illegal even in “anything goes” level fights.
*DeathIsCheap: {{Zigzagged}}. Sometimes death is cleaned up by a simple phoenix down, while other times, it's permanent. It makes it very hard to tell how we are supposed to react to a death.
*DesignatedGirlFight: Generally averted, as Julia often fights against men, but in the Wutai arc, she fights the two women guardians, and Sephiroth fights the three male guardians.
*DesignatedProtagonist: Julia and Sephiroth perform outright atrocities and even genocide, yet they are invariably considered the heroes.
*DidNotDoTheResearch: In spades, but mostly when it comes to the lore and history of FinalFantasyVII.
** Her knowledge of military training and boot camp is astonishingly bad as well.
*DidYouJustPunchOutCthulu: Did you just knock out Hojo's [[OneWingedAngel invincible tentacle form]] with a fire extinguisher.
*DisproportionateRetribution: Julia and Sephiroth are big fans of this. In response to being attacked by football players, (even though the football players [[CurbStompBattle lost spectacularly]]) Julia and Sephiroth get revenge by blowing up the football field during a game, openly killing hundreds of spectators in the process.
** During the Wutai arc, Julia tortures both her victims due to minor slights. Gorki, for daring to call Sephiroth a girl, is tortured to until she screams, including cutting off both her arms and crushing her legs with Demi. Staniv breaks Julia's katana, so she paralyzes her [[EyeScream cuts out her eyeball and forces her to eat it]], and then mutilates her so she can bleed to death.
* DoomedByCanon: We know from the beginning that Julia will die before the events of Nibelheim.
*DracoInLeatherPants: Sephiroth of course. Bonus points for being a character who canonically wears leather pants. The entire story is focused on how wonderful a boy friend he is, even though he's a rather lousy one, and defending his actions in the game.
*DrivenToSuicide: Laura kills herself after dumping Sephiroth, stating that she doesn't want to live if she can't have him.
** Julia attempts this when Sephiroth finds out she used to be a prostitute, but he talks her out of it.
*EveryoneWentToSchoolTogether: Despite canon difference in ages and hometowns Sephiroth, Cloud, Rude, Reno, Aerith, Zack, and Yuffie all go to high school together. Meanwhile, all the staff of Shinra are teachers.
*ExpainsionPackedPast: Julia somehow managed to be a prostitute for three years, and in an insane asylum for three years all before turning fifteen.
*EyeScream: Julia gouges Zack in the eyes during a sparring match. Later, she cuts out her opponent's eye and forces her to eat it.
*FauxActionGirl: Julia for the entire story, up until the Wutai arc. Before then, all her victories are either in practice, or due to luck, or the intervention of Sephiroth.
*ForTheEvuls: Hojo's Modus Operandi.
*FueledByLifeForce: Even though there's no mechanics for it, Julia will fuel any spell used to protect or heal Sephiroth with her life force instead of mana, due to ThePowerOfLove. This appears to accomplish nothing except to cause Julia to faint.
*HaveIMentionedIAmHeterosexualToday: Relatively minor example, but Julia will take advantage of any opportunity to point out that she is straight, and reacts violently to anybody suggesting she is gay.
*HighSchoolAU: Averted. Although the fic initially comes across as this, Sephiroth Slave intends it to be a prequel to the actual series.
*HollywoodMedicine: What magical and regular medicine can heal at any given moment depends on how dramatic it will be.
**Most notably, Julia is at one point poisioned. Days later, she loses most of her blood, which manages to drain her completely of the poison. Even ignoring the fact that she couldn't survive losing enough blood to remove the poison, by that time, it would have soaked into most of her organs and tissue.
*HypocriticalHumor: Unintentional. Julia mocks a character with a fear of needles for freaking out during a mako injection, noting that he reacted the same way that she had when it was her turn.
*IdiotBall: Everybody takes a turn holding this, mostly Sephiroth, Julia, Reno, Rude, Kokorou, and Zack, who will do whatever Hojo asks them to do, fully knowing that he wants to torture them.
** The biggest example is Sephiroth, who – knowing that Hojo wants to inject him with more Jenova cells – willingly goes to him for mako injections, without even checking the needle.
IforgotICouldFly: Julia often forgets that she's a powerful spell caster in possession of several of the most powerful materia in the world. During the defense of Shinra, she literally remembers that she has it halfway through the second day of being slaughtered by the enemy forces.
*MarySue: Julia in spades
* BettyAndVeronica: Julia is Veronica to Laura's Betty. Later in the fic, their roles reverse.
**RelationshipSue: With Sephiroth, obviously.
*OmniDisciplinaryScientist: Despite how much effort FinalFantasyVII averted this, this story has Hojo as a master of medicine, technology, genetics, military training, and [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking blacksmithing.]]
*OneWingedAngel: Ironically, not Sephiroth, but Hojo will transform into his [[EldritchAbomination tentacled monster form]] when he needs to.
*ProtagonistCenteredMorality: Sephiroth in particular, will overract to any affront to Julia, while ignoring if the same thing happens to somebody he doesn't know. The epitome of this comes from when he hears a report of victim getting beaten to near death while walking home at night through a dark alley. He considers it the victim's fault for being dumb enough to walk through a bad part of town, but upon finding out that it was Julia, chews out Laura for saying the exact thing he was thinking a moment ago.
*PsychoSerum: Jenova cells let Jenova possess Sephiroth, and make him try to kill his wife.
*RapeAsBackstory: Part of her ActionPackedPast, her father raped her as part of her training to be a prostitute.
*RonTheDeathEater: So much. Virtually any hero of the story gets trashed for being opposition to Sephiroth. Primarily we have
**[[IdiotBall Cloud The Idiot:]] When she actually manages to lock down a personality for Cloud it's a pathetic, wimpy coward who manages to lose his ID card by getting it stuck between his teeth.
**[[VillainBall Zack The Mysoginist:]] Zack gets turned into a violent, petty, and sexist asshole, who delights in torturing Sephiroth and Julia in anyway he can.
**[[ClassClown Reno The Prankster:]] Depending on whether she likes Reno at the moment, Reno is a clumsy, lazy, idiot who is failing every class, and is known for deadly pranks.
**[[BigBad Hojo The Sadist:]] Hojo goes from an ambitious, amoral scientist to a violent psychopath who delights in torturing anybody he can.
**[[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking Aerith the Friendly Helpful Cheerleader:]] Special recognition goes to Aerith, who is actually portrayed relatively close to canon. The few scenes she gets she's optimistic, smiling, friendly and helpful. For some reason, everybody hates her, and the audience is supposed to understand why.
*RPGMechanicsVerse: A rare atttempt at a serious version. The story references things like MP and levels.
*ShootTheMessenger: Tseng shoots a messenger who merely reported that Julia, Sephiroth, and Reno should report to Hojo to get new mako injections. He's just injured, but Tseng forbids him from seeking medical attention until he returns to deliver a counter-message to Hojo.
*Wangst: Julia will go into full on depression when the story is lacking drama. Often on things that haven't happened in years.
*WhatTheHellHero: Julia burning down an entire football field, killing hundreds, because some football players tried and failed to beat up Sephiroth.
*[[WhereDoesHeGetAllThoseWonderfulToys Where Does She Get Those Wonderful Materia]]: Julia has some of the most powerful materia in the world, including maxed out heal/cure materia, all three Bahamuts, and Knights of the Round. No mention is ever made to where she got them.
*WhyDontYouJustShootHim: A rare protagonist version. Hojo is openly torturing Sephiroth, Julia and others, and later explicitly trying to kill them. Even though they have him at their mercy repeatedly, they never once consider just killing him, even as they acknowledge that he will continue to hound them.
