* This seems to be the MO of Akane Shinjo in ''Anime/SSSSGridman''. She creates clay sculptures of monsters which are then brought to life as {{Kaiju}} by by the BigBad. Her reasons for doing so is usually to exact revenge against those she feels have wronged her in some way. For example, she has a kaiju murder her classmates in the volleyball team...because one of them knocked a hot dog she was giving to the protagonist out of his hand, ignoring the fact that it was an accident and she apologized profusely for it. While it's worth noting that damage to the city (which is almost always completely leveled by the time the fight is over) is mysteriously undone the following day and everyone who isn't directly involved with the titular hero or the aforementioned BigBad loses their memory of the event, it still says a lot that she's willing to go so far in the first place. [[spoiler:Considering that they're all in a virtual world and Akane is the only "real" person, she doesn't see the people as, well, people, just snippets of code that she'll delete if she doesn't like them.]]

** A minor running gag in ''Elma's Office Lady Diary'' is that Tohru will try to kill Elma for anything the latter does with Kobayshi that she doesn't approve of. Examples include: taking Kobayashi to a mixer, letting Kobayashi get drunk ([[ItMakesSenseInContext and ending up in Australia]]), and giving Tohru new meal ideas that Tohru herself ruins by trying to serve her tail. It pretty much stops after the spinoff reaches the point in the timeline where chapter 64 of the main manga takes place, though.
