* TriangRelations: Averted, actually. Mordred and Gaheris already know that they’re siblings ([[spoiler:though they're actually not and are actually cousins, since Mordred is completely a Homunculus and isn't related to Morgan or Morgause at all]]), so no romantic tension develops between them. The most that happens involving Mordred and love interests is her chatting up and making flirty comments at Gwrddelw (here part of MissionControl).

Also on this page: “La Queste Stellaire Lostbelt”, yet another, less elaborated (hopefully) series centered on the Star Wars sequel trilogy instead, though it diverges more and more as the story goes on to fix the issues in the original. It’s a more conventional Arthurian tale; [[spoiler:Mordred is once again a villain, being cast as Kylo Ren]], while Arthur (yes, the male one) (Pending) is Luke, and Galahad is cast as Rey, though he acts more like a mix between a male Mash and original trilogy Luke.

Also on this page: “La Queste Stellaire Lostbelt”, yet another, less elaborated (hopefully) series that might become the main one with the above the lostbelt instead, but a more straightfoward adaptation where Galahad is cast as Luke instead, and episodic in nature, showing highlights of this universe more than an interconnected story, covering the prequels, originals, and some aspects of ''Legends'' (namely Dark Empire).

** [[spoiler:In flashbacks, the story Bedivere as a Heroic Spirit finally tells Mordred about the fall of Camelot, and certain fics written as prequels, we get to see why Bedivere has this mentality. We see that the old Knights had this mentality much like the original Jedi, as it was believed this was the only way to properly control Mana without falling to the Dark Side. The Round Table Order was an exception because Artoria, in yet another twist of irony from her canon Fate version (and from Anakin as well, which her backstory is already extremely divergent from), saw how dangerous that the whole idea of abandoning emotion was from the very beginning, often coming into conflict with the larger, conservative Grand Order Of The Republic over whether light Mana users had to be constantly stoic, and thinking that there had to be a way to balance the extremes. She made repeated attempts to reform the concept of Knighthood, and was able to barely compromise with the larger Grand Order with the Arthurian Chivalric Code, a code which really caught on and made her popular with everyone else in the republic, but also caused further suspicion from many other knights like Sir Georgios, with the Round Table tending to attract knights who were controversial to the rest to say the least and would never make it elsewhere, though an opposing opinion was that her methods were rehabilitating these seemingly hopeless misfits (e.g. hotheaded stepbrother Kay who only barely got in as a Squire because Artoria and Merlin insisted, [[TheBerserker Lancelot]], melancholic and lovestruck Tristan, [[{{Keet}} energetic and dimwitted Percival]], with Squires like KidANova Gawain and proud, abrasive Agravain). Especially not helping was that Galahad, raised by another order to be the traditional ideal (which he came to see as merely a choice, one that really, ''really'' wasn't for everyone), nor that he and Bors, who also was too afraid of the Dark Side to fully believe in Chivalry, became the ones to come back with the Grail, with them diminishing Percival's role in the quest amongst themselves and to the public despite both Galahad and Bors insisting that he had as much of a role. Even more so not helping was poor Lancelot momentarily relapsing into Berserker mode due to Morgan (?) manipulating him, seemingly confirming that Artoria’s methods had allowed an unfit squire to become a knight. Nor was it that much like Anakin, while she was much less socially stunted, she was still not instructed about how to effectively deal with emotion and had little idea of how to deal with her feelings for Shirou (?) and came dangerously close to breaking even courtly love. Stuff like the former two sowed suspicions even within the Round Table and caused her to try to follow the traditional Knightly Code to the letter to fulfill her destiny and to martyr herself for the other knights, but as unlike canon Artoria this version started suppressing her emotions too late, which in combination with other knights either continuing to doubt her because of either suspicions already planted by the above or alternatively being creeped out by the change, things getting worse as some other knights tried to share in her struggle and either broke down and got excommunicated or fell to the dark side and were executed one after another, and everything else going on with her personally, lead to her downfall and spiral into the Dark Side. But what Bedivere took away from it was that Artoria would have been able to fulfill her destiny just fine if she just took the dogma at face value, despite the fact that Bedivere himself finds the idea cruel]]. * ImpliedLoveInterest: Even the author isn't completely sure whether Galahad is still aromantic/asexual in this universe like he was in Project Alter, as there it was made pretty clear that his asexuality was not something natural like Sherlock's or Utterson's, and more a result of him being created literally by God to be a completely perfect knight; and [[spoiler:while he's still basically a creation of Mana itself partially (pending), he's written to be a bit more flawed to keep things interesting. * {{Protectorate}}: As the knights of LQS are somewhat more knight than monk and the story is explicitly intended as basically a chivalric romance with Fate-influenced anime-styled worldbuilding in space, the idea of protecting what is important is a very strong theme. Best seen in the [[spoiler:different assessment Merlin gives to Mordred going in to save Lynette and Gaheris instead of completing her training; whereas this was portrayed negatively when Luke did it in ''Empire Strikes Back'', here Merlin praises it as an admirable act of self-sacrifice, and that he let Mordred choose to prove her selflessness and willingness to protect people, despite her own terror at facing Ursus (pending)]], and is basically stated point-blank in the climax.

** This is, of course, especially the case regarding Mordred [[spoiler:and Artoria]]. The irony starts from Mordred not minding that she is indeed female unlike in Fate canon (even retorting to Lynette telling her to behave towards ladies with “Too bad, I am one!”, which was a very deliberate choice), and just keeps going from there. One of many Fate AU concepts by the creator of DarthWiki/ProjectAlter. Though in practice it is almost completely an Arthurian fic with character details, some of the worldbuilding, and certain characters taken from Fate. Based heavily upon the casting of another fanfic, [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/18945274/chapters/44979811#workskin That Wicked Day]], it is also an adaptation of the original Franchise/StarWars trilogy.

* WomenAreWiser: Averted; the ones who bicker most often are the two girls, and [=D1N-DN=] and Bedivere have the most common sense. However, Lynette may have the most street smarts, so she may still count.

!!Tropes in ''La Queste Stellaire Lostbelt''

* AdaptationalNameChange: Arthur’s surname is Aurelianus, not Pendragon; Pendragon is instead a title, though assumed to be genetic, making Arthur’s full name and title Sir Arthur Aurelianus Pendragon, Grand Saber. This is in fact more accurate to legend. As such, [[spoiler:Mordred isn’t a Pendragon either, she’s, or at least was, Sir Mordred Aurelianus, Saber]].
* BarrierWarrior: Galahad’s Shielder class makes him into this. However, until he can activate it, he’s just a Saber. By the end, he ends up with the double class of Saber Shielder.
* CompositeCharacter:
** [[spoiler:Ambrosius and Uther were the same person in this universe. As he tells Mordred in Heroic Spirit form to help snap her out of the path she’s taking, “Sir Uther” was just the name Ambrosius took up after he was Reknighted as an Alter Knight by Vortigern.]]
** Also, there’s no separate Obi Wan and Yoda; both are combined into Merlin’s role.
** Galahad acts a bit more like Mash, with some original trilogy Luke to convey the whole purity thing, due to Galahad inherently not really making a good focus character with all his being a Marty Stu. In fact, Galahad has more trouble than Rey in mastering his powers.
* {{Irony}}: Side by side to “main” LQS, absolutely. The casting is in line with what one would assume from an Arthurian FilmFic, however.
* NonIndicativeTitle: The author has said this universe is not a Lostbelt as we know it from Fate/Grand Order, as it is completely benign, it was just a title that she thought conveyed the alternate universe to an alternate universe thing well. She’s also dropped hints that if anything, LQS proper is probably the offshoot, due to how topsy-turvy everything is over there, while this is a more straightforward Arthurian/Star Wars FusionFic.
* PatchworkFic: This fic uses Proto Arthur, despite Mordred being female (Pending; maybe Artoria is actually Leia). The author says that she just likes writing Female Mordred more, but thought that Arthur was more fitting as Luke, plus it fits the idea of this being the “right” singularity (despite what the “Lostbelt” in the title indicates). Also Male Mordred lacks a design.

** A weird, downplayed case with Gildas himself. While much like his brothers he’s not that major a character, at one point in between the events corresponding to A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back he lets slip that he didn’t particularly agree with Arthur when she was alive, and also acts rather disapproving of both Mordred’s legitimate flaws and really being emotional at all. While this is very different from how cordial he was with Mordred in Project Alter [[spoiler:from what we see actually happened with Artoria, it’s pretty accurate to how those tying him in with Arthurian legend see him like]].

** Also, while Gaheris is obviously given way more action scenes, and his role is tweaked a bit to be more befitting of a knight than a princess, some of the scenes are left as-is, especially quite a few of the Han/Leia scenes.

** The story also has tons of subversions of the archetypes of what archetypes the characters would usually be in just by being themselves. Especially regarding the main girls; Mordred, TheHero, the KnightInShiningArmor, is a still heroic but immature, impulsive, brash teenager, Lynette the snarky IneffectualLoner LovableRogue is an uptight prude.

** Generally, while an element not elaborated much in the original trilogy, here it's actively subverted with less subtlety than a lot of Star Wars media and in fact subverting this could be said to be one of the themes of the series; [[spoiler:first, when Bedivere talks about this trope and how emotion and passion lead to the Dark Side, telling Mordred her emotions and energy will lead to her downfall, she's indignant and gets heated about it, but at several points wonders if what Bedivere says is indeed true and her {{Hotblooded}} personality is indeed more a hinderance than an advantage throughout the series. * PoliteVillainsRudeHeroes: The contrast between Mordred and Ursus is apparent from their demeanor; Ursus is set up as ruthless, but is very formal in their mannerisms and speech, with an elegant fighting style that reflects it. Mordred, on the other hand, is brash, foul-mouthed, and nowhere near as tactful, to say the least, which is reflected in her forceful fighting style. However, as the series goes on, she begins to act more like a gentleman knight when dealing with others at least.

* AdaptationalJerkass: Ironside, while still a villain in legend, at least had the excuse that he was avenging the death of a lady's brother for his awful behavior. Here he's cast in place of Jabba the Hutt, and while he does hold a grudge against Gawain for killing the brother of a damsel under his protection, it's very clear he was always a criminal, and he's fittingly a sadistic creep. [[spoiler:Particularly when he terribly humiliates poor Gaheris in front of Lynette and creepily tells her "you would look quite good in such an outfit as well, if I had appetite for shrew" before sending her to her doom]].
