Best known for her roles in movies in such '80s films as Film/BladeRunner and Film/NoWayOut, Young has also gained notoriety for some of her bizarre offscreen antics, such as being sued by Creator/JamesWoods for sexual harassment -- although Woods later recanted the charges, blaming his then-wife for a misunderstanding -- and for trying to land the role of ComicBook/Catwoman in Film/BatmanReturns by wearing a homemade costume to impress the makers of the film. She has since appeared in many reality TV shows recently including on Series/CelebrityRehab for her treatment for alcohol addiction.

Young married actor Robert Lujan in 1990; the couple divorced in 2002, but remarried in 2011. They have two sons.

Mary Sean Young (born November 20, 1959 in Louisville, Kentucky) is an American actress best known for her role as the "replicant" Rachael in Film/BladeRunner.

Sean Young is sort of the female Creator/GaryBusey: a real wild card. Gary is lampooned more often. (Ginormous teeth, weird acronyms, a propensity for calling people "butt-horns".) But make no mistake: Like Busey, she's an underrated talent and more than a little loco. She's as famous for heckling people at award shows and storming the Creator/WarnerBrothers backlot in a homemade ComicBook/Catwoman costume as much as her acting. Things started going south when she was fired from Film/WallStreet after disagreements with the director and her co-stars, and was later sued by Creator/JamesWoods for harassment (although Woods recanted the charges). Watching her early stuff, it's easy to see she could have been a huge success.

Sadly, she self-medicated with alcohol and was never able to regain her footing. She's still acting, though, even if they're small TV and B-film roles. She's pretty active on the Internet. She has her own channel with some interesting stuff on it. Her "home videos" from the Dune production are definitely the highlight.
