Morning Sun (also known as Chao Yang, Morning Sun Animation and 朝陽動畫) is a Taiwanese animation studio in Taipei with satellite studios in Hong Kong and Shanghai, China and business offices in the US. It was founded in the 1980’s by Wang Ya-chuan a.k.a. Sam Wang (王亞泉 Wang Yaquan) in Taipei, Taiwan. Wallrich will continue to oversee all operations, including business affairs, development and production, at the US office of the largest foreign-owned animation studio in Taiwan. Morning Sun Animation Group, Inc. animates shows such as Life With Louie, as well as two upcoming Brave Little Toaster Sequels, The Fantastic Voyages of Sinbad the Sailor and Zorro. Morning Sun also produced TV commercials, promos, and network ID's for clients like MTV USA, MTV Asia and Channel [V]. Other recent work in 1994 by the company includes a series of several station ID’s for the launch of Channel [V], a new Asian satellite music television channel part of the STAR TV Network.
