** The short ''Fine'' shows that he's gone through a TraumaCongaLine - being frequently bullied and attacked, his girlfriend spreading rumours about him to hide her sexuality - and him being a school shooter is AllJustADream.
** The upcoming ''Gold Standard'' has him playing arguably the TokenGoodTeammate of a criminal gang, and it's in doubt whether he committed the murder he's accused of.
** Also the upcoming ''Life on Pluto'' has him being dogged by reputation that he's this, even by his own father, but is JerkWithAHeartOfGold at the absolute worst.
* FriendlyRivalry: He jokes that he's often in competition with his on-screen cousin Greg Young, admitting in an interview that he sometimes got bitter seeing Greg enjoy so much success after ''The Nutters''. The two however are good friends and have collaborated many times since. Both are also musicians, albeit in very different genres (Jordan in hip hop, Greg in indie).

** His role in the short ''Silence'' was first offered to Bobby Calloway, who did an early draft of the script. Bobby turned it down, as he'd just got out of an abusive relationship and the subject matter hit too close to home.
** The role of Jack in ''Misfits'' was originally written with him in mind, but Liam Gaynor ended up doing a really strong audition (he had been in the running for the role of Mikey, which went to Jake Hyland).
