Howard Hesseman (February 27, 1940 – January 29, 2022) was an American actor and comedian best known for his roles in the sitcoms ''Series/WKRPInCincinnati'' and ''Series/HeadOfTheClass''. He was also a founding member of the improv comedy troupe The Committee and worked as an underground radio DJ in the 1960s.

Hesseman was married to Catherine Mason and then Caroline Ducrocq. He had no children. He died in 2022 at age 81, of complications from colorectal surgery.
