He got his start in theatre doing musicals, and won a Olivier in 1988 for originating the role of Mickey in ''Theatre/BloodBrothers.'' He's since had several supporting roles in films and television (most recently as Izzy in ''Series/OurFlagMeansDeath'') and has also lent his voice to Creator/FromSoftware games.
