Death being the preferred punishment with no chance to defend yourself or appeal. Any deviation from its strict rules is not tolerated. The only way out of this is if your punishment would create havoc due to having influential friends. Then you can do pretty much whatever you want, even murder in broad daylight. Don't count on the king to help you. No one has seen him in forever.
