* One episode of ''WesternAnimation/CloneHigh'' features [[TheAggressiveDrugDealer The Pusher]], who offers to sell JFK raisins by the scoop. JFK dryly, in ''that'' voice, asks for "TWO PLEASE", and The Pusher's voice actor Creator/JackBlack absolutely ''dies''. Christopher Miller does a valiant job keeping in-character as JFK laughing, but it's obvious Jack Black has completely broken character and is just crying laughing in his own voice. They [[ThrowItIn Threw It In]] because it ended up being one of the funniest bits in the entire episode.

* Done InUniverse on ''WesternAnimation/BeavisAndButthead'' in the aptly-titled "No Laughing", where Principal [=McVicker=] decides to punish them for their constant laughing by forcing them to go a whole week without even so much as a chuckle, and if they do laugh they'll be "sent to Hope High School where they'll get their asses kicked on a daily basis by all the other delinquents." This leaves them at the mercy of Mr. Buzzcut who, of course, is ''deliberately'' trying to get them to laugh by teaching Sex Ed that week and getting right in their face about it. Amazingly, the duo actually pulls it off and makes it out of the school... where they erupt in pained laughter like a seizure.

* Happened to Creator/MadeleinePeters (Scootaloo) in episode 18 of ''WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic'' during the [[DreadfulMusician cringe-worthy rendition of the Cutie Mark Crusaders' Theme Song]]. It's hard to catch because it's somewhat covered up by a fan.
* Voice actor giants Creator/FrankWelker and Creator/PeterCullen got in on this during the run of ''WesternAnimation/TheTransformers'', though it was one-sided (and amusingly, instigated by the one who played the evil leader). [[http://web.archive.org/web/20150922112309/http://animatedtv.about.com/od/dvdandvideoreviews/fr/Transformers-Prime-Interview.htm Apparently]] one of Frank's goals while playing [[BigBad Megatron]] was "to get Peter to laugh water out of his nose."
* ''WesternAnimation/BatmanTheAnimatedSeries'':
** The memorable episode "The Man Who Killed Batman" [[TheFunInFuneral where Joker holds a funeral for his rival, complete with Harley Quinn playing]] AmazingFreakingGrace '''[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ld0uIhst3TA on a kazoo]]'''. Who's up for Chinese?") in one take because the entire cast was laughing too hard to try again.
** Another one pops up in "The Strange Secret of Bruce Wayne" where Hugo Strange calls the Joker and gets his answering machine message where he's asked to "leave his message at the sound of the shriek" and it cuts to a screaming man begging for his life. You can ''clearly'' hear the guy trying not to laugh as he does it, and it was presumably [[ThrowItIn thrown in]] given The Joker's tendency to use gas that makes people [[CruelAndUnusualDeath laugh themselves to death to kill his victims]], which makes it all the more chilling. You can tell the laughter is genuine rather than scripted as it's not the pained and hysterical laugher usually associated with Joker Venom.
* The legendary ''WesternAnimation/{{ThunderCats|1985}}'' [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ftU5GfORvH8 BlooperReel]] has several instances of the actors cracking up mid-line, such as Lion-O stumbling over his lines before remarking "What the fuck am I even talking about?!"
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Daria}}'' had a moment which didn't occur in the show itself but on one of the six answering machine message tapes given to fan C.E. Forman during MTV's Cool Crap Auction in 1999, which were personalized and read by Daria herself. The third one ("Hey, it's Daria Morgendorffer. Whenever I'm in Peoria, I like to answer Chris's phone calls. It's how I get my jollies. How do you get yours?") had Tracy Grandstaff (Daria) laughing while saying "Peoria".
* ''WesternAnimation/RickAndMorty'': The episode "Rixty Minutes" has Rick tuning the TV so as to get channels from parallel universes. It's quite evident that several if not all of these shows and commercials were improvised by the voice actors on the spot, and they don't even bother to cover the fact that they [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ziXpIPAhD4 cracked themselves up]] [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_LJtG2gXSc with it.]]
** As seen in the first clip, the titular characters are even kind enough to {{lampshade|Hanging}} it beforehand.
--->'''Morty:''' Huh, seems like TV from other dimensions has a somewhat looser feel to it.
--->'''Rick:''' Yeah, it's got an almost improvisational tone.
** Happens twice in the '[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vN_PEmeKb0 State of Georgia Vs. Denver Fenton Allen]]' Rick and Morty parody skit. * In the ClipShow from near the end of ''WesternAnimation/TheLegendOfKorra'', when Varrick's fictionalized retelling of the show gets to the part where all the villains get together on a conference call, it's obvious Music/HenryRollins is struggling not to laugh as he delivers Zaheer's lines, and you can even hear what appears to be someone laughing outright in the background. This was all left in, probably because the scene isn't ''remotely'' serious and is in fact very "meta".
* On episode 41 of ''WesternAnimation/{{Animaniacs}}'', during the "Good Idea, Bad Idea" segment, narrator Tom Bodett (yes, he of the Motel 6 "We'll leave the light on for you" ads) clearly cracks up when delivering the line "Bad idea: Whistling while you eat."
* A famous ColdOpen on ''WesternAnimation/FamilyGuy'' portrays Osama Bin Laden trying to record an anti-American propaganda video, but breaking up into laughter when he mispronounces a word. He's unable to regain his composure and eventually degenerates into outright clowning. [[spoiler:Then Stewie shows up and kicks his ass.]]
* You can occasionally hear characters on ''WesternAnimation/BobsBurgers'' giggle or chuckle a bit while responding to funny dialogue. Those moments are the actual voice actors trying not to laugh and are left in because it feels more natural than having a character respond to a joke without laughing (unless the seriousness is funnier).
* During recording sessions for ''WesternAnimation/ThePerilsOfPenelopePitstop,'' it's been said that Creator/PaulLynde (the voice of Sylvester Sneekly/The Hooded Claw) would constantly cause the other voice actors (Creator/JanetWaldo, Gary Owens, Creator/MelBlanc, Creator/DonMessick, Paul Winchell) to go into fits of laughter with his hammy line deliveries and his over-the-top EvilLaugh.
