It's an average day in UsefulNotes/NewYorkCity for scientist Angela Spica until she sees a man falling from the top of a skyscraper. * AdaptationalDyeJob: The version of Apollo introduced here is a brunet, unlike the blond he's traditionally been depicted as in other continuities. Also ComicBook/{{Grifter}}, who's a redhead instead of a blond.

* AdaptationalModesty: Angela's Engineer form here isn't as sexy as it was in the original Wildstorm universe; it's more in-line with the likes of ComicBook/IronMan and ComicBook/WarMachine, or even a [[Franchise/{{Transformers}} Transformer]]. Issue 11 sees her taking on a form similar to her original counterpart.
