* PlayingBothSides: Victoria Hand, at Cap's request, is serving as liaison to the Avengers despite her history with Osborn's HAMMER (now a villain group). She tells both sides that she's on their side, tells both sides that she needs to stay in the other side's good graces, and passes info to both sides. Every time she's called on this, by either side, she says, "Look, I told you everything, it's not ''my'' fault they kicked your ass. Anyway, I have to keep them thinking I'm working for ''them,'' so I can gather info for ''you.''"
** Whether the Avengers are ProperlyParanoid about her remains to be seen.

* ProperlyParanoid: In Volume 2, [[spoiler:Victoria Hand is placed as Captain America's liaison to the team, much to the displeasure of Spider-Man, who constantly points out that during ''ComicBook/DarkReign'' she served as the second-in-command of his ArchEnemy & repeatedly implies that he thinks she's TheMole; even refusing to reveal his identity when it meant he would be the only member of the team not collecting a salary for his work with the New Avengers. Of course, it then turns out that he was right, since she promptly sends them into a set-up at the first opportunity after Osborn created his New Dark Avengers]].
