* ArtisticLicenseHistory: The series is premised on the notion that way back in the late 15th century, there was a coven of witches that included a black member of the Laveau family and a member of the Minoru coven. Trouble is, there was no contact between Japan and Europe until 1543, and any ancestors of Marie Laveau bearing the surname "Laveau" in in the 15th century would have been white.

The series shares a title and some major characters with the ''VideoGame/MidnightSuns'' game, but does not follow the same plot. Both the series and the game also have roots in Marvel's original 1990s ''ComicBook/MidnightSons'' comics.

''Midnight Suns'' is a 2022 limited series published by Creator/MarvelComics. It's written by Ethan Sacks and illustrated by Luigi Zagaria, with color art by Antonio Fabella.

Set in the shared Franchise/MarvelUniverse, the series follows a group of heroes who unite to foil a mystical threat. When Zoe Laveau, one of the students at the magical Strange Academy, appears in visions of an apocalyptic future, the heroes (Blade, Wolverine, Magik, Nico Minoru, the Spirit Rider and Agatha Harkness) try to protect her and stop that vision coming true.

The first issue was released September 14, 2022.

----
!! ''Midnight Suns'' contains the following tropes:
* BadFuture: The heroes see a vision of a future where the world is apparently laid waste due to Zoe. And it's only four days away.
* InternalReveal: After Zoe's vision, a classmate grabs her and pulls her necklace off, revealing her true form to the other students.
* SymbolSwearing: Wolverine makes his feelings on magical threats and prophecies very clear.
-->'''Wolverine:''' Oh terrific, magic $#@#.
