With the the majority of the Avengers off-planet, it's up to BlackPanther, ComicBook/IronMan and [[TheInhumans Black Bolt]] to organize Earth's remaining superheroes against the Mad Titan and his new generals.

The Builders, a powerful race of god-like multidimensional beings, have invaded MarvelUniverse. The Avengers, in one of their strongest and largest incarnations, go to space and join forces with armies of alien empires, against the threat before it reaches the Earth. To their surprise, situation will force them into an uneasy alliance with the Skrulls, who, when they meet last time, came inches from taking over the Earth.

Speaking of Earth, without their strongest protectors, it's defenses are weakened, making it easy prey for any invading forces. But in face of what's happening in space, who would dare to attack a lone planet, rather than join the fight against the invaders threatening entire Universe?

Rather than one story, it actually tells two, happening at the same time, both being natural consequence of events of Hickman run on ComicBook/TheAvengers and ComicBook/NewAvengers, as well as set up to keep fans of {{Film/The Avengers}} movie hyped for future film appearances of a certain OneSceneWonder. It continues some plot points dating back to SecretInvasion, and, as name might have suggested to you, has certain connection to [[ComicBook/TheInfinityGauntlet The Infinity Gauntlet Saga]]. The main book is six issues, although its major plot points are interwoven with the current Avengers and New Avengers, plus in true crisis crossover fashion it features various other tie ins with other ongoing Marvel books and mini-series.
