The Kaiba Corp board of directors, consisting of Oshita (Gansley), Otaki (Crump), Ooka (Johnson), Ota (Nezbitt)
and dragon. He poses as Marik while Daimon (Leichter). Played a part in Kaiba's takeover of the real Marik tries company when Gozaburo ran things, but once Kaiba took over he stripped them of their power and left them as figureheads. They've since tried various schemes to infiltrate Yugi's gang as "Namu".

He
take the company for themselves, that ultimately result in them being locked in a virtual world; they must each defeat a member of the main cast in a duel in order to escape.

Oshita
uses a Reptile deck themed that concentrates on Egyptian mythology, which consists almost entirely of Trap cards. His locking down his opponent's options; his Deck Master is Deep Sea Warrior. Otaki uses a water/ice deck filled with penguins; his Deck Master is Nightmare Penguin. Ooka uses a Fusion deck along with cards that emulate a courtroom setting; his Deck Master is Judgeman. Ota uses a Machine deck that has Perfect Machine King as its trump card card; his Deck Master is Mystical Beast Robotic Knight. Daimon uses a Lockdown strategy that focuses on Injection Fairy Lily and Satellite Cannon; his Deck Master is Jinzo. During their joint duel with Yugi & Joey, the five utilise a combination of Serket.
one another's cards, with Five-Headed Dragon and Leichter's Berserk Dragon acting as their trump cards.

* AffablyEvil: Is very polite in his duel with Jounouchi, in the dub referring to him as "Mr. Wheeler," and clearly respects Jounouchi's dueling skills even when Jounouchi is about to lose. It's what gives his Marik disguise away. In addition, he himself isn't so much evil as he is completely devoted to protecting Marik.
* AntiVillain: He only follows Marik to protect him and keep his dark personality in check.
* BadassLongcoat: Wears the standard Rare Hunter robes, and being that he duels on an airship, it billows and flares dramatically all the time.
* BaldOfEvil: On first appearance.
* BigBrotherInstinct: He will do anything to protect Marik, even from himself.
* CannibalismSuperpower: His Mystical Beast Serket gains half the ATK of every creature it devours. This is a bad thing.
* TheDragon: To Marik.
* HypercompetentSidekick: Rishid won enough locator cards for he and Marik to enter the Battle City finals, and would have defeated Jounouchi in a fair duel had Marik not forced him to use the Winged Dragon of Ra. Conversely, Marik loses (or is in the process of losing when they are called off) all three of his duels with Yami & Yugi, despite cheating (while controlling Bandit Keith), having an Egyptian God Card on his side (while controlling Strings), and using Yugi's best friend as a shield (while controlling Jounouchi). It's pretty clear who the better duelist is here.
* JerkassFacade: In his duel with Jounouchi, as he's supposed to be impersonating Marik. Jounouchi eventually sees through it.
* LargeAndInCharge: Downplayed as he is second in command, but not completely in charge.
* MoralityChain: He keeps Marik's dark personality in check.
* NobleDemon: He's a villain, but he is honorable and moral.
** NobleTopEnforcer: Unlike Marik (and every other Rare Hunter), Odion forgoes cheating in favor of kicking ass fairly.
* ObviousTrap: His deck consists of almost nothing but traps, so when he ends his turn by just setting two cards, you know they're going to protect him, he isn't stupid. But you have to attack him sooner or later, and when you do, he's ready. Try to destroy his traps? He's got protection for them, though not foolproof.
* RedRightHand: The scarring/tattoos on his face.
* ScaryBlackMan: He's an Egyptian and is cold and stoic, giving a very intimidating presence.
* TattooedCrook: His face is tattooed in Egyptian hieroglyphs. He did it himself to prove his loyalty to the Tombkeepers since Marik's father would not officially induct him into the group.
* TrapIsTheOnlyOption: His deck consists of almost nothing but traps, so when he ends his turn by just setting two cards, you know they're going to protect him, he isn't stupid. But you have to attack him sooner or later, and when you do, he's ready.
* TrapMaster: Relies on masses of Trap Cards to duel.
* ScaryScorpions: His Mystical Beast Serket. 2500 ATK. 2000 DEF. Can add half the ATK of every creature it devours to its score. That's pretty darn scary.
* TheStoic: Contends with Raphael and Shadi for the title.
* TheUnfavourite: His adoptive father never saw him as more than a servant, and it only got worse once Ishizu and Marik were born.
* VillainBall: He had Jonouchi beat. Then Marik forces him to grab this by summoning Ra.
* WorthyOpponent: Plays totally fairly and respects Jounouchi's skills as a duelist. The sentiment is returned by Jounouchi, who notes unlike a lost of his past opponents, Rishid has played a fair duel and it's been one of the toughest yet. Which leads into problems since he's supposed to be impersonating Marik, who has shown no problems cheating and setting up unfair games.

* AttemptedRape: ...tries to rape Anzu after drugging her with chloroform before Dark Yugi shows up and challenges him to a Shadow Game. It's a wonder why after committing the above crimes, including this, Dark Yugi doesn't give him a more lethal Penalty Game (he just gets knocked out by chloroform and has his phony predictions exposed)
* BelievingTheirOwnLies:
AbsurdlyHighStakesGame: His predictions are phony, but he's so loony that he actually believes he has psychic powers. This proves Electric Chair Ride of Death-T's horror section electrifies you to be his downfall when he plays Paper Crash with Yugi. In that game, both players had to pull sheets of paper out from under a chloroform bottle, without letting it fall. Kokurano closed his eyes and tried to use his powers to "levitate" the bottle, but wound up knocking off the bottle of chloroform and faints.death if you scream.
* DubNameChange: AdaptationalHeroism: In the first series anime by Toei, he is portrayed as more sympathetic. Being ill and perpetually on life support, Daimon experienced Seto Kaiba's kindness when Seto was young. He duels for Kaiba in the hopes of his good heart reemerging, and upon his loss, urged Yugi to restore Kaiba's kindness.
* ColdBloodedTorture: And he enjoys doing it.
* HighVoltageDeath: His fate in the manga.
* NamedByTheAdaptation:
He's renamed to Fortuno simply known as "Kaiba's butler" in English version the manga.
* OneSceneWonder: In the second series anime, he's known as "that guy who helped Kaiba kidnap Yugi's grandfather" in the first episode.
* Reincarnation: Of ancient Egypt's Gelbelk, keeper
of the Dungeon Dice Monsters video game.
* JerkAss: He's completely obnoxious
pharaoh's dungeons and full of himself.
also a master torturer, who appears as an NPC during the Shadow RPG.
* LittlePeopleAreSurreal: Well, he tries to invoke this...
* PhonyPsychic: Has plenty of fortunes prepared in
TortureTechnician: Doubles as this for Kaiba as well as being his cape to make it seem as if he made butler.

One summer during

He chopped their bodies into unrecognizable pieces and makes sure the bad prophecies news of the murders had all of Domino City in fear. The suspect came to be known as "The Chopman", but was not captured and remained at large. Seto Kaiba later hired him for the Horror Stage of his Death-T theme park.
-----
* AbsurdlyHighStakesGame: His role in Death-T is basically VideoGame/ClockTower
come true himself, such to life.
* AxeCrazy: As long
as burning down a person's house after predicting his house would catch on fire. he gets to kill people, he's satisfied.
* CaptainErsatz: Of Leatherface.
* CompleteMonster:
He especially pretty much gets off to murder and has no problems doing the latter if the person pisses him off. And in Anzu's case, he predicted she'd meet a wonderful man soon, intending redeeming human characteristics whatsoever.
* HockeyMaskAndChainsaw
* Homage: Obviously
to become said man. TheTexasChainsawMassacre
* KillItWithFire: Jonouchi's solution for this psychopath.
* WouldKillAChild: Killed ten boy scouts and was all-the-more-willing to kill Johji's, Honda's infant nephew.

The Ventriloquist of the Dead is one of Pegasus's hired Player Killers, who fights in a Shadow Game of Duel Monsters Dark Yugi using a puppet of Seto Kaiba and his stolen cards. Yugi originally challenged Saruwatari to a game on Duelist Kingdom, in order to retrieve the two Star Chips Mokuba stole and confiscated by Saruwatari, but since Saruwatari doesn't like playing games, he arranged for the Ventriloquist of the Dead to face Yugi instead.

Upon losing, Dark Yugi, furious that the ventriloquist stole Kaiba's cards and toyed with his soul with a puppet, inflicted a Penalty Game on the Player Killer, where he believed a puppet of himself was attacking him - making him one of Dark Yugi's final Shadow Game victims.

This Player Killer uses a card deck stolen from Seto Kaiba. He does not appear in the anime, and is instead replaced by the Mimic of Doom, who impersonates Kaiba himself.

----
* AdaptedOut: Is replaced in the anime by the Mimic of Doom.
* AssholeVictim: Steals the cards of a supposedly dead man and then makes a mockery of him using a puppet... no one particularly cares when Dark Yugi Mind Rapes him
* CreepyDoll: Plays with a deranged puppet based off of Kaiba, and claims that the doll is possessed with Kaiba's dead spirit.
* DeadPersonImpersonation: He claims that his puppet is the real Seto Kaiba's soul. His fat anime counterpart, The Mimic of Doom himself pretends to be Kaiba BackFromTheDead after supposedly committing suicide using his unexplained shapeshifting powers (however, in the English dub, he actually IS the spirit of Seto Kaiba - his "evil half that was banished to the Shadow Realm", that is)
* DubNameChange: In the English versions of VideoGame/YuGiOhReshefOfDestruction and the Dungeon Dice Monsters video games, he's called the Puppeteer of Doom and The Puppeteer respectively.

An enormous man with the soul of a thug, he serves as one of Pegasus' Player Killers/Eliminators during the Duelist Kingdom arc. He defeats Mai and is in turn taken down by Dark Yugi. His deck is based around using Castle of Dark Illusions to shroud the field. Most of his monsters gain field power bonus when played at night.

He's also one of the last victims of Dark Yugi's Shadow Games.

* TheBully: How Yugi sees him.
* CheatersNeverProsper: In the anime, his use of pyrotechnics has little effect on Dark Yugi, who disposes of him with a Mind Crush after his victory.
* DarkIsEvil: Relies on shadow and darkness and uses Dark-attribute monsters.
* DeathByIrony: In the manga, after Dark Yugi offers to bet his life in return to make up for the number discrepancy between his and Mai's star chips, the Player Killer of Darkness ties a noose around his neck to make sure Dark Yugi dies after he loses. At the end of the game, in typical Dark Yugi fashion, he experiences a Penalty Game in which is is hanged by a noose.

However, the brothers still have another game that Yugi and Jonouchi must pass, which is a riddle. Two eccentric brothers of implied Chinese descent hired by Pegasus as Player Killers. They take on both Yugi and Jounouchi in
a true master tag battle, threatening to leave the group trapped underground if they lost. However, the brothers still have another game that Yugi and Jonouchi must pass, which is a riddle. They inform them that one of the doors that leads out of the room will lead them to the surface, while the other simply leads to an endless maze. [[Manga/YuGiOh With the help of Dark Magician and Yugi can't hope to compare to him.

In the anime, they reappear in Anime/YuGiOhGX, facing Judai and Shou in a Tag Team Duel, but are defeated once again.

The brothers both use decks that turn the game into a labyrinth board game hybrid. Their trump card is Gate Guardian.

Two of Marik's Ghouls, whom he orders to take on The first Ghoul encountered in the manga (unless one counts a brainwashed Keith, which only happens in the anime) he's never given a name other than "Rare Hunter". He beats Jonouchi and takes his Red-Eyes, and is in turn beaten by Dark Yugi Yugi. He runs an Exodia deck that focuses on assembling counterfeited Exodia cards and Seto Kaiba in a double deathmatch on top of building, where upon losing, a bomb will destroy the glass beneath them, sending using them to their deaths (in the dub, the Shadow Realm).

* CheatersNeverProsper: In addition to loading his deck with three copies of Exodia, he also marks his cards in the dub (in the original, his cards are counterfeit). He still loses, and it's largely because his deck is so filled with Exodia pieces that he can't draw anything else.
* CurbstompBattle: Against Dark Yugi, who handed his ass to him after Yugi activates a trap that destroys the same cards, rendering him unable to receive an insta-win with Exodia. To know how it's a curb-stomp battle, Dark Yugi never lost a single life point (upgraded to 4000 rather than the usual 2000).
** In the manga, his battle against Dark Yugi is arguably one of the shortest chapters ever - it was only a few pages long.
