* TheLastRequest: His sidequest reveals that he has been working towards fulling this from none other than [[spoiler:the late king of Glia, who asked him to find and destroy the royal seal of Glia so it may not be used for ill purposes]].

* AntiVillain: He is tasked with making sure [[spoiler:the real Adol Christin does not escape from the prison]] and has absolutely no choice in the matter [[spoiler:due to being forced to obey Zora's commands.]]
* BadGuysDoTheDirtyWork: While he himself was never a true villain, in the late-game sidequest, he [[spoiler:destroys the remaining homunculus that Chatelard created so Adol and his party do not have to dirty their hands.]]

An energetic girl who is assigned to work as a waitress at the bar Dandelion by Carla after Adol helps the Pendleton company out with solving the case of theft by White Cat. She has a great reputation with the customers as cheerful, openhearted, and hard-working, but she is burdened with many hardships such as supporting the livelihood of her younger siblings all on her own. Her childhood friend Felix works at Baldeux Arena as a matador.

An effeminate man who is assigned to run the bar Dandelion by Carla after Adol helps the Pendleton company out with solving the case of theft by White Cat. He is caring and uses his past life experience to give good advices so customers of all kinds consult him. He has a big circle of friends in Baldeux related to work, and is thus very knowledgeable about the city’s residents and the situation with the Romun Empire.

* HiddenDepths: He used to be [[spiler:rather successful gladiator]].

[[spoiler:As the true identity of White Cat, she is actually responsible for stealing her own sales and giving it to the poor. She and her father Riche once visited the slums of Baldeux for business purpose. Seeing how miserable people's lives were in that area, she felt giving her sales is the least she could do for them. Unfortunately, this has led to slum people's becoming dependent on her rather than doing anything to improve their lives.]]

* ShrinkingViolet: This, along with her NiceGirl personality, causes problem with rest of her family as they have no problem following the family motto, which is to ruthlessly defeat any competition with capital gains.

* ToughLove: He is strict to his daughters in hopes that they will grow into good merchants worthy of the Pendleton name.

He seems to take an interest in Adol and his experiences as an adventurer throughout many different regions. In fact, he is the one who takes down Adol and throws him into the prison at the beginning of the game. Throughout the game, he is shown to have more knowledge about monstrums and the prison city than he lets on.

* BodyBackupDrive: She has other bodies ready in case something happens to her current one.

* [[DaddyHadAGoodReasonForAbandoningYou Mommy Had A Good Reason For Abandoning You]]: Due to [[spoiler:sudden deaths of previous monstrums]] and [[spoiler:disappearance of her partner Zora]] fifteen years ago, she had to send [[spoiler:the current monstrums except Doll and Red King]] away for adoption instead of raising them.

* MasterSwordsman: He is powerful enough to take down Hawk even while Hawk is in his monstrum form. He also manages to kill [[spoiler:Aprilis or rather her current body]] right in front of the party without anyone's catching his movement.

* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: He genuinely wants to keep the peace in the city and stars questioning Chatelard once Chatelard starts taking things too far.

* MysteriousPast: With the dose of LaserGuidedAmnesia. She does not have any memory of how she has come to gain sentience. She also knows that there is something she wishes to find desperately but has no idea what it actually is.

* DidntThinkThisThrough: While it is true that Adol's memories contain godlike beings who could neutralize the threat of Grimwald's Night, Zora seems to have neglected the fact that most of those beings were threats to the entire world and were hardly controllable by human hands, which was generally the reason why Adol ended up fighting them. Sure enough, Atola, the being created from those memories, promptly go out of control.

The divine being created from Adol's memories by Zora. Zora hoped to use him to bring the threat of Grimwald's Night under control. Unfortunately, Atola intends on destroying all humans in Glia in order to do so, reasoning that since larva are created from negative emotions of people in Glia, there would be no larva to worry about if there is no person.

* GoneHorriblyRight: Zora created Atola in hopes that such a godlike being would end the threat of Grimwald's Night permanently. Zora got it alright.

* FragileSpeedster: Her attacks are fast but she cannot take many hits.

* JustLikeRobinHood: Her M.O. She steals from the rich and drops the loot for the poor to pick up. [[spoiler:Deconstructed in that this only led to slum people's becoming reliant on her instead of making an effort to improve their lives]].

* TokenEvilTeammate: Hawk is the only monstrum who actively causes trouble in Baldeux for his own amusement.

* NiceHat: Even bigger and fancier than that of White Cat.

* DarkIsNotEvil: His skills are primarily darkness-based.

A hooded woman with determined eyes and an artificial arm and leg whom Adol encounters during his prison break in Baldeux. She "gifts" the power of monstrum to Adol and forces him to fight demons from Grimwald's Night along with other monstrums, trapping him in the city in the process.
