* MsFanservice: Possibly the best example in Western Animation (You see her picture on the trope page!). She is integral to the plot, but her fanservice features are taken up a notch. She is a gorgeous LadyInRed, her [[BuxomBeautyStandard bustline is as big]] as her torso, [[ImpossiblyLowNeckline her neckline is impossibly low]], she's got super long legs, there were some racy {{panty shot}}s, and the like. No wonder every man and every cartoon is DistractedByTheSexy and enjoys EatingTheEyeCandy when she's present. In fact, she's MsFanservice for the film, the world of the film, ''and'' the cartoons she appears in within that world! However, this trope is somewhat deconstructed, as toons in this world are successful when they're making people laugh, while most of Jessica's services are... y'know. While she can't succeed as most toons do, she manages to use her sexual appeal to her advantage to get somewhere in seedy clubs entertaining men.

* BuxomBeautyStandard: She is quite well-endowed and it's one of the reasons she's such a DudeMagnet. They are also heavily emphasized by the animation, as her breasts are purposely drawn to bounce in the opposite rhythm of a normal female's chest while walking; she bounces down when a real person would bounce up, and vice versa. And they even go "boing"! There's also Greasy's eagerness to "frisk" her cleavage which leads to a BoobBasedGag when he gets his hand on her VictoriasSecretCompartment and gets caught in a BearTrap, causing Valiant to snark "[[DoubleEntendre Nice booby-trap]]".

* EverythingsBetterWithSparkles: Jessica's dress on stage when she performs her musical number. The dress was supposed to sparkle throughout the whole movie, but it would have been too difficult and expensive to animate by hand.

* FashionableAsymmetry: Jessica's hair hangs over the right side of her face, often obscuring her eye to make her look mysterious.

* IndignantSlap: She gives a harsh one to Eddie as mentioned above.

* MinorRoleMajorImpact: He's only in two scenes in the movie (and in one he's largely offscreen talking to Jessica), but his murder and role as the owner of Toontown are the driving forces of the plot. His LostWillAndTestament is the film's MacGuffin.

* HeroesWantRedheads: Roger is madly in love with beautiful redhead, Jessica.

Fittingly, Jessica, the one who Eddie was looking for, is based on the Red Riding Hood of the same short.

* DoubleStandardRapeFemaleOnMale: Her chasing of Eddie is a pretty cut-and-dry attempted sexual assault. One might be tempted to chalk this up to DeliberateValuesDissonance since many cartoon women indeed used to behave this way, but the fact of that matter is that it was still considered acceptable at the time Who Framed Roger Rabbit was made.

* IronicName: His surname is "Valiant" alongside his brothers. "Valiant" is another word for "brave" or "courageous", but [[AntiHero Eddie himself]] acts the opposite throughout most of the film, being a jaded and cynical ButtMonkey. Justified, as his brother's death by a toon caused him to hate working for toons.

* Boob-Based Gag: Jessica Rabbit's ample breasts find themselves involved in quite a lot of visual comedy, including funny bounces and turning out to contain a BearTrap for handsy men.

* BritishTeeth: She has very few, rotten, and old-looking teeth.

* NobleBigotWithABadge: A variant since he's no longer a cop but a private eye, but even he wouldn't let his bigotry towards toons allow an innocent to unjustly receive the death penalty.

* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: He genuine cares about toons in general despite not having no restrictions in using them as pawns for his dirty deeds. In the original script it's mentioned he also has a wife which he obviously loves.

* MoralityPet: Toons in general serve as one to him. Maroon is hugely opportunistic and greedy, hoping to make a fortune off the Cloverleaf Highway project. But when he learns that the structure will result in the destruction of Toontown and all its inhabitants, he's horrified and desperately tries to prevent the scheme from going through.

** By toon standards (who judge attractiveness by how funny a toon is), most seem to feel that Jessica (who, while still sexy, simply isn't all that funny) lucked out marrying a big-name star like Roger, who's practically a supermodel with someone like Jessica.

* WhatDoesSheSeeInHim: Eddie's reaction to Jessica Rabbit being married to Roger. On the other hand, WesternAnimation/BettyBoop thinks Jessica is a "lucky girl". As for the reason why Jessica loves Roger?

* AmbiguousSituation: It's not made clear if the Weasels knew [[spoiler:Doom was actually a {{toon}} -- helping with his disguise in their shared goal to take down Toontown. Or they were hired under the assumption that Doom was human and [[CategoryTraitor joined on his plan in order to be spared the same fate as the other toons]].]] The comic adaptation and its sequel imply the former while the movie suggests the latter.

After finally catching him, she gives him a big, wet kiss with her [[GagLips big red lips]], much to his chagrin. The recoil from this kiss sends Eddie flying down the street, and she chases after him once more, clearly intending to give him more of these kisses.

* IJustWantToBeLoved: At the end of the day, she just wants a man to accept her affections.
* IJustWantToBeYou: It's not addressed, but it is implied that Lena feels this about Jessica, which is why she tries to dress like her.

* InterspeciesRomance: She is a toon that becomes infatuated with Eddie who is a human. Granted, she is a human toon like Jessica.

* LoveHungry: It appears that Lena is desperately seeking a romantic relationship. Because of this, she will become instantly smitten with the first male that approaches her, regardless if they're a toon or a human. And based on how she spends her entire trying chasing Eddie for the purpose of showering him with an unwanted kisses, it's clear she is more interested in the physical parts of a romantic relationship.

* LoveCanMakeYouGonk: Lena is able to almost perfectly imitate Jessica's appearance, down to her stoic movements and body shape.When she catches a glimpse of Eddie at her door, her inability to contain her lustful excitement at the thought of a male suitor coming to see causes her to revert to her true unattractive appearance.

* NotSoStoic: She initially tries to imitate Jessica's sensuous stoicism, to the point that Eddie believes that she actually is Jessica from a distance. Once she sees Eddie enter her room, her instant infatuation with him causes her to abandon this trait, causing her to reveal her true self.

* RescueRomance: Played with. Upon laying her eyes upon him, Lena disturbs Eddie with her ugly appearance. Desperate to get a kiss, she chases Eddie into a non existent bathroom, resulting in him plummeting miles below. Lena races down to the ground floor and catches him at the last second. However, she proceeds to force herself on poor Eddie, averting this rescue.

* SexySilhouette: Two of them (well, one and a half). She makes half of one in her hotel room window that resembles Jessica doing a HairFlip, which causes Eddie to believe that she is her when he goes to intercept. She then makes another when Eddie is looking through her keyhole, seeing her seductively pulling out a pink negligee from her suitcase.
