After watching the movie a few times, and looking at some of the Weta models, I noticed how the different kinds of troops wore different armor, and what weapons were reused by several characters. I hope the links are fine as they are.

Not sure how much of a jerkass I'd label him, especially since it's only really towards Khadgar and they grow to become friends, and Lothar seems mainly annoyed with him because of his meddling. Maybe Jerk With A Heart Of Gold?
