Subverted if you kill Dr. Tippets' however — it causes Dr. Swansea to give Gwyneth a promotion to the position of a head surgeon, just without an official title.

* ScrewTheRulesImDoingWhatsRight: She had covered up Dr. Tippets' – under the influence of drugs – error that caused a patient's death. Despite her heart's best intentions, it could've easily backfired, as Jonathan can point out.
* SecretKeeper: She's very much aware of her colleague Dr. Tippets's drug addiction, but opted not to report him due to the on-going epidemic.

* ValuesDissonance: The 1918 pandemic is a big part of Why many kinds of nurses are [[spoiler: allowed & encouraged to diagnose paients & perscribe medicine.]] It was proved as a medical necessity during the outbreak.

* FunctionalAddict: Subverted. Tippets is addicted to stimulants – he needs them to weather the exhaustion and promises to stop once the epidemic is defeated. Jonathan can look into it and confirm that Corcoran's already murdered a patient via anaesthetic overdose.

* RavenHairIvorySkin: Has messy black hair, a pallid complexion, and is regarded as drop dead gorgeous by Thomas.

* DesperatelyCravesAffection: Is willing to roleplay with Thelma Hawcroft and even allow her to bite him to drink his blood, because he feels that no one will accept him for his scars (and backstory).
