* PlatonicLifePartners: While it is easy to assume that Alain will marry any eligible female characters, there are cases where Alain has no romantic feelings toward the woman and vice versa, like Hilda, Ramona, and Tatiana.

Should he have more than one rapport conversation with a female unit, the last one will usually feature him doing or saying something flirtatious or intimate enough to fluster her, with some having him all but confess romantic feelings that she is willing to return. Melisandre notably assumes he's going to have a large number of willing consorts in the future in addition to his actual wife (not that Alain himself necessarily has such intentions).
