* ProudBeauty: Rosalinde's gorgeous and she knows it. This is evident in some of her rapport  conversations, her level up quote, and her favorite gifts are "appearance" items, like scented soaps and face powders.

* FlorenceNightingaleEffect: If Alain gives her the Ring of the Maiden, Railanor will admit that she first started to fall in love with him back when he treated her injured leg. Downplayed in that he didn't ''treat'' her exactly but rather carried her to a healer after she twisted her ankle while trying to convince him to go to Rosalinde for a tryst, an act which touched her greatly.

* UndyingLoyalty: To Rosalinde. Railanor wants to make sure Alain is worthy enough to court her since she knows of her infatuation with him. She even keeps her hair long to best resemble Rosalinde. The downsides of this are explored a bit, with Rosalinde wishing Railanor were not so serious in her devotion, and Ithilion disliking the almost suicidal levels of self pity Railanor expresses over having been forced by Zenoira to attack Rosalinde,

* BabiesEverAfter: [[spoiler:If Alain chooses Rosalinde as his Maiden, his ending changes where it is stated that he and Elina had half-elven children together, and he will continue to look after their descendants when she passes away.]]

* ArmorIsUseless: According to her chat with Lex, Railanor states that armor not only weighs her down, metallic wear is frowned upon by the spirits she serves so all female fencers show their respect by wearing less metallic armor on themselves. Besides, Railanor's philosophy is to evade attacks rather than tank them.

* HalfHumanHybrid: She is a half-elf, born to an elven knight, Rydia, and an unnamed human man. Compared to pureblooded elves, she has dark hair and short pointed ears.
* ParentalAbandonment: Her mother was an elven knight who was killed fighting Zenoira.

* OurElvesAreDifferent: Atypical of most depictions of different elf races, they're not antagonistic toward each other anymore and have been on friendly terms for centuries. It's even possible for light and dark elves to be twins, like the case of Rosalinde and Eltolinde. This is apparently due to a quirk of elf genetics where instead of acquiring traits from both parents, the children of a mixed race elf pairing are either a light or dark elf entirely. Further, while a notable number of elves do look down on humans and would like to see them expelled from Elheim (even the efforts of Alain's army sometimes not changing their minds), a majority of elves and their leadership are willing to accept and cooperate with humans on fairly equal terms. Some discrimination is still widespread though, with half elves not being allowed to become knights of Elheim due to their "impure" blood, and a entire town of outcast elves having to live outside of the protection of the Winding Wood.
* OurDarkElvesAreDifferent: These ones largely live in a subterranean city system in the northeastern part of Elheim, but are considerably more integrated with their light brethren societally; they also have a more acutely antiquated idea of loyalty and honour, loathing underhanded tactics but are nonetheless pragmatic. Part of it was the marriage of Rosalinde and Eltolinde's parents, who were a dark elf woman and a light elf man managing to win over their respective groups.

Eltolinde's personal bodyguard who went into self-exile for failing to protect her.

* MyGreatestFailure: During Zenoira's invasion of Elheim, Galadmir lost all her soldiers in battle, and in a fit of desperation to save her skin, told them where to find Eltolinde. She deeply regrets her actions so much she went into self-imposed exile. She also refuses to face Eltolinde until she feels she's sufficiently atoned for her cowardice. [[spoiler:This is partially a lie; she didn't betray Eltolinde, but she did watch her company fall and feels immense regret for being unable to do anything to stop Zenoira. She feels similarly guilty for being unable to protect Eltolinde when she was taken by the empire to serve as their puppet.]]

* HalfBreedDiscrimination: The people of her town are seen gossiping about her for being a half-elf.

* DevelopersDesiredDate: Alongside Scarlett, Rosalinde is the other romance option that gets the most focus in the game and is the most developped. Her change from being friendly to Alain to being openly interested in him is seen in the main story cutscene that introduces the Ring of the Maiden. Rosalinde's rapport conversations are romantic from the first one (which puts her ahead of Scarlett) and also her attraction is referenced by other characters' rapport with Alain, such as with Railanor and Scarlett.

A swordsman and knight in service of Elheim. He was away on a mission when the capital fell to Zenoira. He has led a guerilla force ever since.

* InterspeciesRomance: It's heavily implied he got involved with the human Elina when she was curing him back to health. However, until the war wages on, he's unwilling to pursue a relationship. [[spoiler:The two get married after the war. If Alain gives him the Ring of the Maiden, he will attend their wedding.]]

A Swordswoman and knight in service of Elheim who is loyal to Rosalinde.

* TheTease: She's fully aware that Alain is put off by her getting in his personal space, but likes to tease him that way. He gets over it by the time of his second rapport conversation with him where she falls asleep with her head on his shoulder and he lets her sleep that way.

* HeadInTheSandManagement: It's brought up that, compared to Drakenhold not aiding Cornia in its war ten years ago due to an old rivalry between the nations, Elheim abstained to preserve their own peace, only to pay for it when they were invaded themselves.
