She used magic to become younger again and went into hiding to avoid being found by the Zenorian army after the fall of Cornia. The trade-off was that it cost her a lot of her magical power, leaving her too weak to take action right away. [[spoiler:The epilogue confirms she maintains that appearance until she dies of old age.]]

The head and sole survivor of House Meillet, a distinguished Cornian noble family. Losing her parents and older brother to illness early in life, she was raised and trained by her aunt and uncle as the heir to the Meillet family.
