* TheDitz: More of an informed attribute than anything else, Erasa apparently used to be this in the past.
* TheHeart: If anyone in the series is this, it would be Erasa. She is the most well-meaning, kind-hearted character in the series. She goes out of her way to be kind, to the point where she doesn't appear to have a mean bone in her body.

*AdaptationExpansion: In the original series, ''especially'' the original manga, Erasa was a nothing character who existed to be friends with Sharpener and Videl. In this story, she is a fully fleshed out main character who is in a relationship with Gohan and becomes one of the Dragon Team.

The secondary protagonist of the ''Erased Chronicles'', and the titular character. Erasa was a normal Earthling who met Gohan seven years ago, just a little before the Cell Games. The best friend of Videl, she's a well-meaning, and earnest young girl who reunites with Gohan after the latter enters high-school. Their reunion kicks off the true start of the story, and Erasa's growth as a person.

Added DiffLines:

* RealityEnsues:
** Unlike in canon, Gohan's previous battles have scarred him a little more. Additionally, he behaves more like a normal person would, having moments where he can be selfish and not understand someone else's side (such as the fact that his mother over the past seven years hasn't gotten over her husband's death, and it's influenced her more than he would think).
** His slacking off rendered him weaker than he had been years ago.

Added DiffLines:

* PurpleIsPowerful: Played very much straight throughout the series; unlike in canon, where Gohan asks for ''gi'' like his Dad's, ''Erased'' Gohan asks for a new outfit in the same colours as Piccolo's ''gi''. Shin creates one modeled after Kaioushin training garb.

-->"''How do you expect me to get any kind of real world experience like this if you keep being so overbearing and overprotective!? I never ask for much, you know that better than anyone! I've always done what you've asked, and yet you're still this insistent on keeping me under your thumb?! Don't you think it's time to let go? Don't you think I can handle myself?!''"

The main protagonist of the Erased Chronicles. The oldest son of Goku and Chi-Chi, and a half-Saiyan. A powerful boy with a gentle disposition and hidden temper, he's taken the mantle of the protector of Earth after his father passed away in the Cell Games. Striving to live his life after the death of his father, he has recently started high-school, where he encounters a girl named Erasa, who he once met seven years ago.
----
*TheAce: Gohan excels in just about everything except social skills — something he himself later addresses — and possesses immense talent as both a fighter and a scholar. He has more innate fighting potential than any member of the Dragon Team, and quickly regains his fighting sense even after not having had a formal battle in seven years.
*AdaptationPersonalityChange: Played with. Gohan always had a short temper that was prevalent more often during his formative years, and seemingly abandoned for arrogance towards the tail end of the Buu arc in the original series. In ''Erased'', his personality is present as a gentle man who can be pushed to the breaking point, and has very Vegeta-like tendencies once he's pushed to Super Saiyan 2.
*ArrogantKungFuGuy: Gohan usually avoids this trope, but lapses into it whenever he transforms into Super Saiyan 2. [[spoiler: He would later adopt this attitude again whilst fighting Majin Buu, and he hadn't even transformed at the time.]]
