The main antagonist of the first Radiant Mythology. Widdershin is the Descender of a world called Gilgulim, but because of a lot of loss of mana, the world was falling. Realizing that sooner or later every word would perish he went on a quest to fuse his world with all worlds and turn his world into, one that would be eternal.

!!Protagonist (Radiant Mythology 2)

!!Kanonno Earhart
!!!'''Voiced by:''' Creator/KanaeIto (JP)
[[quoteright:175:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kanonno_e.jpg]]

-->''"People will change. It's the same for you.... You too can change."''

The heroine of the second Radiant Mythology game. Kanonno is a young girl who aspires for adventure and is currently working at Ad Libitum. She wishes to meet her parents again after being separated from them for so long. She first meets the Descender after s/he crash lands on the Van Eltia's deck. Because the Descender has no memories or a place to go, Kanonno decides to stick with him/her as his/her partner in Ad Libitum, making her your very first recruitable party member.

She makes an appearance in the third game alongside her predecessor and successor. She once again takes the role of the main heroine in ''Tales of Asteria''.
----
* ActionGirl: Of course.
* AmnesiacHero: She is an amnesiac girl in ''Tales of Asteria''. Not in the ''Radiant Mythology'' series though.
* BadassAdorable: Like her predecessor, except this time, she's a playable party member. Her [[LimitBreak Mystic Arte]] can also be a hard hitter if you level her up high enough.
* {{BFS}}: It's a standard weapon for the Kanonnos.
* BreakoutCharacter: The first character from a spin-off game to appear in an official Tales Of poll, ''another'' spin-off game where she's the heroine, and the Golden Gumi extra, hosting it alongside [[TalesOfTheAbyss Jade]] and [[TalesOfSymphonia Zelos]].
* ButtMonkey: At the start of the Golden Gumi extra at least, [[{{Troll}} Ja]][[{{Jerkass}} de]] gives Kanonno zero respect during the start of the show's run and she was even outright ''ignored'' during introductions ''despite being one of the hosts''.
* TheChick: Played straight In ''TalesOfAsteria''. justified she is a lot weaker compared to the other main characters.
* TheChosenOne: In VideoGames/TalesOfAsteria it's turn out she is actually The Descender all alongs.
* CombatMedic: She has a few healing spells at her disposal and is especially useful during your early run in the game. And yes, she can still kick a lot of butt.
* CuteBruiser: Hits ''like a tank'' despite her petite stature.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: Her parents died when her hometown was bombed while she was just an infant. Paneer didn't tell her this beforehand, so she was ''[[AwfulTruth devastated]]'' to learn the truth once it came to light.
* {{Expy}}: Is said to be one to [[Manga/ShugoChara Amu Hinamori]]. Helps that they share the same [[Creator/KanaeIto VA]].
* HeroicBSOD: [[spoiler: Once she learns about her connection with Pasca Kannono, what ''really'' happened to her parents, as well as her deteriorating condition following a certain event in the game, she slowly breaks down until the Descender gives her the will to go on]].
* HeroicRROD: [[spoiler: Gradually runs out of mana throughout the game and is in danger of fading away until you complete a certain mission. She spends a small part of the game bedridden and unplayable until then]].
* HeterosexualLifePartners: With the female Descender, where their relationship is similar to that of sisters.
* InexplicablyIdenticalIndividuals: Shares the same name and appearance with the Kanonno from the first game. [[spoiler: As revealed by Niata Monad in 2, she's her reincarnation. This causes her a bit of angst mid-story.]]
* IWillWaitForYou: Towards the Descender of Granide at the end of the game. [[spoiler: It seems that her dedication and devotion towards the Descender pay off in the game's [[NewGamePlus playable epilogue]] as s/he does come back to the Van Eltia]].
* LastNameBasis: In ''Link'' and in ''Radiant Mythology 3'', she is simply referred to as "Earhart" so she wouldn't be confused with her 'sisters'. She also calls Radiant Mythology 3 Kanonno by her surname too once you recruit her in 3.
* LimitBreak: ''Unchained Note''.
* MagicalAccessory: Has one in ''Tales Of Asteria''.
* MagicKnight: Has a balanced set of physical as well as magical attacks. In RM3 however, she's more focused on physical attacks to differentiate her from the other Kannonos.
* MsExposition: She's your go-to tutor alongside Chat in the earlier stages of your playthrough.
* NiceGirl
* TheNicknamer: In a way, towards the Descender in the manga. It was she who first gave Roa his name when he couldn't remember it himself, or, you know, because he never had one in the first place.
* NoMoreLies: [[spoiler: After she finds out what really happened to her parents, she briefly lashes out at Paneer for keeping the truth a secret from her before breaking down into tears.]]
* ParentalAbandonment: See DarkAndTroubledPast above.
* PluckyGirl
* {{Reincarnation}}: [[spoiler: Of Pasca Kanonno, the first game's heroine.]]
* RoseHairedSweetie: Like her predecessor, except [[spoiler: without the amnesia or the genocidal backstory]]. She's a bundle of sweetness when you first meet her too.
* SailorFuku: Notable considering that both her predecessor and successor wear dresses with a seasonal motif while only she doesn't.
* SingleWomanSeeksGoodMan: Throughout the story she falls in love with the (male) Descender.
* ShipperOnDeck: For Sara and the Savior in the June bride event in Tales of Link.
* ShipTease: With the Descender (if he's male). In the manga, [[spoiler: she's an OfficialCouple with Roa Nashion, the manga's Descender]].
* WalkingTheEarth: [[spoiler: After the game's main events, she leaves Ad Libitum for a while to travel around the world, both to search for her parents' graves, and to (hopefully) find the Descender in her travels.]]

Unlike Mormo, she does not follow the, Protagonist around, and stays in the Van Eltia. She also handles your storage as well.

* ApronMatron
* HappilyMarried: The epilogue reveals that she's married to [[spoiler: Janis Kern]].
* InterspeciesRomance: She marries [[spoiler: Janis Kern,]] a human in the epilogue.
* ParentalSubstitute: Kanonno Earhart's. Her appearance even reflects her motherly personality and role.
* OlderThanTheyLook: Justified. She is 18 in human years, but for her race, the Natsu-Natsu that is considered as old.

One of the antagonists in the first Radiant Mythology. Ganser was originally a sick man unable to do anything. Afterwards, thanks to a deal with Widdershin, he gained tremendous power and control over the cities in Terresia. He gained his own soldiers and took over the village of Ailily. Before the Protagonist was born, a guild named Ad Libitum was founded, and goal in Ailily was to stop Ganser and free the town. Ganser starts to get suspicious over the Guild, but Ad Libitum manages to be careful. By the events in the game, Ganser holds the village and its citizens with an iron fist, taking large taxes and banishes those who go against him.

----
* ActionGirl: Of course.
* {{BFS}}: It's a standard weapon for the Kanonnos.
* LimitBreak: ''Unchained Note''.
* NiceGirl
* ParentalAbandonment: See DarkAndTroubledPast above.
* PluckyGirl

* InterspeciesRomance: She marries [[spoiler: Janis Kern,]] a human in the epilogue.
