In this series, both boys are shown to be unconditionally friends with Damian starting from their debut appearance, apparently not even caring if he's very wealthy or the son of an important political figure in Vale. Not to mention that they often get exasperated by his irrational racism towards Atlesians as much as they don't hesitate to call him out for his negative behavior and say outright to his face that he's wrong.
