* DisneyDeath: [[spoiler:Kaeden]] kills him in the final battle [[spoiler:against the Remnant]], but he gets better several chapters later.
* NoSell: Since he is a droid, the vampires cannot drink his blood.
* ShockAndAwe: His tazer is his main method of attack, especially before he gets a flamethrower. Even then, the tazer itself gets stronger than before, and he also gains a powerful electromagnetic field.
* TookALevelInBadass: He gets a Precision Bolt, a more powerful tazer, an electromagnetic force field and a ''flamethrower'', courtesy of [[spoiler: Rose Tico.]] He ends up taking on several Yuuzhan Vong with his new weapons. He also learns to assist Poe's X-Wing in a turret.
* WeakButSkilled: BB-8 isn't very powerful, but even with his limited gear, he has defeated several stronger opponents. While later he gets an improved arsenal, he is still not among the heavy hitters, but his skills shine even further. * NoSell: Since he is a droid, the vampires cannot drink his blood.
* ShockAndAwe: His tazer is his main method of attack, especially before he gets a flamethrower. Even then, the tazer itself gets stronger than before, and he also gains a powerful electromagnetic field.
* TookALevelInBadass: He gets a Precision Bolt, a more powerful tazer, an electromagnetic force field and a ''flamethrower'', courtesy of [[spoiler: Rose Tico.]] He ends up taking on several Yuuzhan Vong with his new weapons. He also learns to assist Poe's X-Wing in a turret.
* WeakButSkilled: BB-8 isn't very powerful, but even with his limited gear, he has defeated several stronger opponents.
