* ItsPersonal: Has a personal grudge towards Fal for nearly killing her and killing one of her partners.
* MugglesDoItBetter: The fact that she is ''not'' a Force user becomes especially helpful to Emerick when they are up against [[AnimalisticAbomination the Nameless]], who are notably {{Brown Note Being}}s to Force users, and ''only'' to Force users. This not only helps Emerick see his way through the hallucinations and survive the encounter, it allows him to gain some coherent intel on the creatures.

* AscendedExtra: She was a minor character in Phase I's ''The Rising Storm''. In Phase III's ''The Eye of Darkness'', she's become one of the novel's main characters.
* BoyishShortHair: She has her hair short and somewhat mannish and she's not particularly feminine.
* DefiantCaptive: While she pretends to be mostly cowed by her imprisonment, Rhil works on an escape plan with a Nihil who wants to desert before things fall apart. She secretly sends out messages with the truth about what is happening and seeking Jedi to meet her and help them escape the Occlusion Zone.
* IChooseToStay: Although she has an opportunity to escape the Occlusion Zone at the end of ''The Eye of Darkness'', Rhil decides to stay aboard Belin's ship and see what good she can do broadcasting messages of resistance.
* RobotBuddy: Her cam droid T-9, who follows her constantly to record and broadcast. T-9 is taken from her by the Nihil when she gets captured and Rhil is extremely worried about his fate.
* ScrewTheRulesImDoingWhatsRight: As a reporter, Rhil is supposed to simply report on stories and not get involved. She was fired from her previous job after learning that the local fire chief responding to the planetary wildfire she was reporting on was charging people for saving their homes. After confronting him on it in a live broadcast, Rhil grabbed a fire hose and turned it on the corrupt chief. She was subsequently fired, but became popular across the galaxy for her actions and found herself with numerous job offers from other networks.
* TagalongReporter: Initially just following the Jedi around the fair, due to the Nihil attack she ended up being in the thick of the assault and was responsible for broadcasting news of the attack and the Jedi's heroics during it.

* AffablyEvil: For a given definition of "evil," anyway. While a bit of a snob, Raxlo is personable and levelheaded and is always open to talk to the Jedi Younglings when they have concerns - though that doesn't mean he'll ''listen.'' He also [[WouldntHurtAChild never tries to hurt them]] when things go sour, just get them out of the way long enough to for him to get what he wants.
* BirdPeople: He's a Gozzo, a species who look like bipedal owls with a pair of antennae popping out of their heads.
* CorruptCorporateExecutive: Played with. The series makes it clear that Raxlo's isn't necessarily ''wrong'' to attempt his industrialized ventures, he just has zero awareness of the worlds around him and needs to find places that aren't damaging to everyone else - or at the very least ''ask'' first before doing it so things don't go wrong. In his last appearance they make peace with him not by stopping his mining operation, but just by teaching him to work with the locals to do it in an environmentally safe way - which leads to everyone getting what they want. He even makes friends with the local fauna.
* EcocidalAntagonist: Downplayed. All of his episodes are GreenAesop stories, in which he is attempting to mine or harvest resources someplace that is damaging to the environment. However, he's not exactly ''[[ObliviouslyEvil intending]]'' that outcome, but the Younglings need to stop him nonetheless.
* GadgeteerGenius: Raxlo is always proud to declare that each of his harvesting/mining/etc machines are his own inventions.
* ObliviouslyEvil: He doesn't see anything wrong with his industrial ventures, but his ventures usually cause damage to the environments around him, usually prompting the Younglings to stop him. In his last appearance, they break him of this mindset by getting him to work with the locals so he doesn't cause any more harm.
* OddlySmallOrganization: The "Raxlo Corporation" seems to consist entirely of just himself and his droid assistant, which makes him come off more as an independent entrepreneur trying to put on airs.
* TooDumbToLive: Sometimes. Raxlo's big problem is that he doesn't pay attention to what's around him when he's mining, which can lead him into trouble. In one instance, he tried strip mining in a fragile area underground - never noticing that his machines were collapsing the cave around him until his life was literally in jeopardy.

When Kyong learns that Axel has been roped into the Path as a result of their strained relationship, she decides to come to Dalna at his request, but also steps down as Chancellor to mend their relationship. When the Mother hears of this, she drop all pretense of caring for Axel since he's lost his political value.]]

* UniversallyBelovedLeader: Aside from her strained relationship with [[WellDoneSonGuy Axel]], she was very well-respected as a Chancellor thanks to her co-Chancellorship with Orlen Mollo allowing each other to cover the other's blind spots. [[spoiler:After the Battle of Dalna, in which Kyong deliberately relinquished her Chancellorship so the Path of the Open Hand couldn't make her into their political puppet, many in the Republic ''beg'' for her to reinstate herself just because they feel lost without her.]]
