* FatalFlaw: Hiedi's response to her female friends mocking her for [[WhatDoesSheSeeInHim her interest in Cartman]] is to [[InsaneTrollLogic double down on staying committed to the relationship]], even as it grows increasingly more toxic with Cartman gas-lighting her.

* RiseOfZitboy: After gaining weight, she now has two pimples on her face, probably caused by all of the grease in the KFC Cartman has been feeding her. [[spoiler: Though she looses the zits along with her weight gain by "A Problem With a Poo"]]

* TookALevelInJerkass: By "Moss Piglets" in Season 21, she has become a female version of Cartman. [[{{Subverted}} However,]] it serves more as a [[JerkassFacade defense mechanism]] to endure all the emotional stress given to her rather than becoming genuinely malicious. When she [[HeelRealization realizes]] that [[BecomingTheMask she took it too far]], she decides to resolve this issue [[spoiler: by breaking up with Cartman.]]

** To Wendy Testabuger. Both are {{Brainy Brunette}}s , had feelings for Eric Cartman, and are the only known female students to wear hats. However, Heidi lacks Wendy's strong will and thus never learned to resolve her feelings for Cartman on her own like Wendy did. As a result, while Wendy was able to keep her positive attributes, lose all her feelings for Cartman, and retain her self-identity, Heidi loses all her attributes and stayed in a romantic relationship with Cartman long enough for his [[ToxicFriendInfluence toxic influence]] to turn her into a [[DistaffCounterpart female version of himself]]. [[spoiler: Though Heidi does break-up with Cartman, possibly losing all her feelings for him in the process, and was able to reclaim all her attributes by Season 22.]]

* InformedFlaw: Wendy says that she has a flat butt in "The Hobbit", but much like the rest of the people she insulted, that feature doesn't seem to apply to her and hasn't been looked into any further.

* TheFriendsWhoNeverHang: After hooking up with Cartman, she all of the sudden stopped hanging out with the girls and is almost only shown with her boyfriend now. This is probably explanatory though, since she didn't want to get involved with the drama of the gender war that her friends was participating in, and instead wanted to put an end to it alongside Cartman (who felt the same way about said gender war).[[spoiler: She returns to the girls after breaking up with Cartman in "Splatty Tomato"]].

* ReformedBully: She was originally an AlphaBitch who would pick on girls less popular then her, but Season 20 made her [[TookALevelInKindness a lot more nicer]] while showing any signs of her meanness. She does return to her bullying ways after becoming Eric Cartman's DistaffCounterpart, but would break up with him when she realizes he's a [[ToxicFriendInfluence bad influence for her]] and rid herself of any Cartman-like traits by Season 22, making her this trope once more.

Unlike him however, Heidi learns how unhealthy this way of thinking is, takes responsibility for her own actions, and can actually make positive changes to improve herself.

* BecameYourOwnAntithesis: Contrast the kind, caring, naive, and healthy girl she once was before dating Cartman to the bitter, resentful, bigoted, and fat {{Jerkass}} she became while dating him. "Splatty Tomato" in particular points this out.

* LivingProp: Though not completely silent, Heidi was mostly a background character prior to Season 20.

** She also one for Butters Stotch. Both are kind and innocent children, whose naivety are constantly exploited by Cartman and are among the few kids to call him Eric. However Butters knows better than to stoop to Cartman's level and remains his kind and innocent self. Heidi doesn't and ends up becoming a DistaffCounterpart to Cartman. [[spoiler: Though Heidi does learn like Butters and returns to her old self after breaking up with Cartman.]]
** She's also one to a female [[VideoGame/SouthParkTheFracturedButWhole New Kid]], in regards to their contrasting relationships with Cartman. While Heidi's relationship with him is romantic, the New Kid has more of a teacher/student bond with him. Heidi came to Cartman and the two bonded over falling off the social media grid while Cartman [[BecauseYouWereNiceToMe went out of his way to be nice to the New Kid and thus earned her loyalty]]. [[spoiler: And while Heidi broke up with Cartman after realizing what his influence turned her into, The New Kid had no problems with anything Cartman was having her do, until Cartman betrayed her and kidnapped her parents, which caused her to lose all respect for him.]]

* EarnYourHappyEnding: By Season 22 she’s out of an abusive relationship, has lost all the weight she gain last season and is a NiceGirl again. While she's returns to her old role as a [[DemotedToExtra background character]], this is probably for the best given how much she suffered as a main character, especially as Cartman's girlfriend.

* FlowerInHerHair: Well its on her hat, but she wears an orange one on the left side of her head.

* DeconstructedCharacterArchetype: Of the ButtMonkey trope, basically showing how much of her sanity gets chipped away as a result of being everyones punching bag, eventually snapping and adopting most of her boyfriend's worst qualities.

While she did inherited Cartman's obesity, bigotry, and {{Jerkass}} tendencies, she does get a HeelRealization and [[spoiler: breaks up with Cartman]] before his influence could have corrupted her into inheriting Cartman's more twisted traits such as his sadism and sociopathy.
