* EquippableAlly: In ''Stardust Song'', AZKi will enter the Usa-G (aka Usada Gear) to fly around and accompany Shadow on some missions as a sort of drone. She is, as one would expect from a creation of Pekora, armed to the teeth with a pair of twin machine guns and acts as Shadow's 'weapon' in areas where there are otherwise none to collect.

After being defeated in [[VideoGame/SonicForces the Eggman War's final battle]], Infinite's Prototype Phantom Ruby sought to return to the original gemstone it was connected to, dragging his distorting body along with it and... Well, the merging process of the two stones didn't much account for any flesh getting caught in the gears. Infinite's body was erased and his mind left to haunt the inner sanctum of the Phantom Ruby, a gem known for causing ''insanity'' in it's users. To make matters worse? When the Phantom Ruby finally gave up and fled to another dimension, pieces of it broke off after all the stress it'd been through during it's use and abuse over [[VideoGame/SonicMania two]] [[VideoGame/SonicForces games]]. Just a fractured mind with no body to call his own, Infinite is at his lowest... And most desperate.

* ImaginaryEnemy: To Haachama. She believes him to be an ImaginaryFriend, but Infinite is just using her desire to be [[IJustWantToHaveFriends accepted for who she is]] as a means to manipulate her into being his lackey. From collecting Phantom Ruby shards to inciting large-scale violent attacks to finally getting her hands dirty in the way [[ChildrenForcedToKill that can't be undone]], Infinite's abuse of Haachama is both depraved and horrifying, an intentionally dark direction for his character so as to highlight just how low he's sunk from desperation and insanity.

* VengefulGhost: Essentially what he has become. Thanks to a botched attempt by his Phantom Ruby prototype to recombine with the original, his body was destroyed and he's now effectively a spirit bound to the now-fractured Phantom Ruby. His presence becomes more and more clear to Haachama as the Phantom Ruby is reconstructed, going from a mere disembodied voice to the dark ghost look in the above image.

A croc with money on his mind and mannerisms straight out of the big city, he's the frontman of the Chaotix Detective Agency and a hobbyist [[VideoGame/SonicFreeRiders Extreme Gear modder]] on the side. Living in relative poverty, Vector dreams of making big bucks if only to make ends meet, and will take just about any job [[OnlyInItForTheMoney if the price is right]]. Well... ''Almost'' any job. Vector might have a chip on his shoulder at times and a short fuse to match, but he knows when it's time to put the profit aside and do the right thing. That said? ''Don't mess with his paycheck''.

* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Vector can come off as pretty mean at times, in no small part thanks to his short fuse and little patience. Charmy in particular gets on his nerves and will even be the victim of some shoving and shouting from time to time, but he's been described to be a 'softie' deep down, and clearly cares for Charmy enough to continue looking after him as one of the founding members of the Chaotix Detective Agency. When the world is in danger or people are in need, he puts aside his greed and anger for the sake of doing what's right.

Nobody quite knows where Espio came from, but he's got a strong sense of justice, a passion for information-gathering and, oh yeah, [[GratuitousNinja he's a ninja]]. Being the Chaotix Detective Agency's go-to man for stealth and picking up evidence, he's an invaluable member of the team and potentially the reason the trio decided to open a ''detective'' business specifically. He tends to the see the world in black and white when it comes to morality and has zero tolerance for those he deems evil, but at the very least you can count on him never turning his back on you in a time of need.

The third and final member of Team Chaotix is... A little kid? It's not entirely clear where Charmy found his way into this whole detective business, but he's no less an important member of the agency with his unique skillset of flight, high speed and [[GreenThumb minor ability to control flowers]]. Being a 6-year old detective does come with it's expected downsides however, Charmy's easily distractable and hyperactive to the point of often annoying his elder teammates, but they'd never leave him behind in spite of all that. A slightly obscure fact about him is that he actually [[HeroWorshipper idolizes Shadow the Hedgehog]], and wants to be like him someday.

* BigEgoHiddenDepths: Believing she had a hand in the Phantom Ruby's mayhem during the events of ''Smol Ame-nia'', she tries her hardest to make things right despite the fact she could leave at any point and just about everyone would say that's in-character for her. At the end of the day, Smol Ame is still a child who commands incredible power, and as much as she loves to gloat and brag, one can glean that there's a vulnerable part of her that's overwhelmed by the sheer potential of infinite timelines and is acting out as a way to make light of it all.

* GroundPound: Ame's main attack, similar to [[VideoGame/SonicMania Mighty the Armadillo's Hammer Drop]] ability in practice, but rather than stopping dead in her tracks, her version is bouncier and allows for unique interactions such as getting extra height off of springs or launching off of slopes. It's behaviour is based on the famous [[ShoutOut Smol Ame fangame]].

* TheTrickster: Smol Ame is known across the time traveling community in the Holo Dimension (mostly consisting of other alternate Amelias) for being an absolute terror to deal with. She always seems to show up at the worst moment to knock over the {{MacGuffin}}, piss off {{The Dragon}} (somehow always redirecting it to someone else when they inevitably can't catch her) and otherwise sow mayhem just by being there and being herself. Ame doesn't really care, but her reputation as a trickster comes back to bite her when she's blamed for various temporal crimes by Team Chaotix... And this time, she's actually (mostly) innocent!

The first man to call himself the rival of Sonic the Hedgehog, since turned into a lifelong friend through butted heads and clashed fists both. Knuckles is the Earth to Sonic's Wind and the two often alternate between being each-other's voice of reason or the one in need of help cooling down, though usually Sonic's sharp wit allows him to get the first licks in at teasing his old buddy. Despite his occasional brash nature, Knuckles is actually very knowledgeable and levelheaded, it's just that his long years of isolation have left him ill-prepared for social interactions (especially the kind where he's being made fun of or manipulated).

* RedOniBlueOni: Ironically enough, when his temper isn't getting the best of him Knuckles is the Blue Oni to Sonic's Red. Living alone for 12 years gave him a quiet outlook and a deep respect for the traditions of his long-gone tribe, one that he will never truly get to be a part of. He's knowledgeable on history, loves to relax and apparently [[VideoGame/SonicShuffle dreams of tranquil beaches]]. When he's riled up though, expect Sonic to be the one nonchalantly chuckling at his antics or berating him for getting tricked for the umpteenth time - flipping the dynamic to the more accurately colour-coded orientation.

* RedIsHeroic: Though he's been in the antagonist's seat a few times thanks to being tricked by Eggman, Knuckles is usually someone you can count on to fight for the side of good.

* SuperStrength: Knuckles is an absolute powerhouse, capable of lifting huge weights and dishing out crushing blows that can shatter rock and break through metal both denser and larger than he is.

Shadow's longtime friend and a flirtatious rival to Knuckles, Rouge has a long and slightly complicated history of occupations working both inside and outside of the law. She's plundered priceless treasures from sacred landmarks only to be taking calls from the President the next day, working with the military to spy on enemy forces using her incredible skills of stealth and subterfuge.

* LovableRogue: Though she's done plenty of work for the government and military, Rouge still has a huge love of gemstones and will go out of her way to snag some if she can at any given time. Her kleptomaniac tendencies are usually met with a mass eye-roll from everyone present and the general attitude that 'yeah, that's Rouge for you'.

The final and most powerful member of the E-100 line of robots created by Dr. Eggman. Omega is an absolute powerhouse apparently capable of [[VideoGame/SonicTheHedgehog2006 taking down Shadow the Hedgehog]], one of the strongest fighters on his planet, but Eggman didn't appreciate his massive ego and penchant for collateral damage (he believes all other Eggman robots are inferior to him, therefore unnecessary and insulting, therefore they must be destroyed). Enraged by being locked away, Omega turned on the Empire and joined Rouge's Team Dark along with the lady herself and Shadow the Hedgehog to embark on a quest for revenge.

* BloodKnight: Not only does he believe violence is the answer to most questions, he's ''delights'' in wanton destruction and mayhem. He isn't fully indiscriminate, he does care for his friends after all, but there is no sweeter sound to Omega than the crunch of worthless scrap beneath his feet or the cries of his enemies as he rips and tears through them.

* PintsizedPowerhouse: Unlike his predecessors from VideoGame/SonicAdventure, Omega (in a meta sense) was designed to appear tall standing next to Shadow and Rouge rather than Eggman or human [=NPCs=]. The realization eventually sets in when you look at his profile that... This weapon of mass destruction ''is under 5 feet tall''.

* HourOfPower: [[spoiler:Due to lacking the actual Phantom Ruby and simply acting on its residual energy, her Bionic Bride state is very unstable and ''very'' limited on how long it can last.]]

* HumongousMecha: [[spoiler: When she's blasted with Phantom Ruby energy during ''Resistance'', Roboco mutates into the Bionic Bride, a giant form covered in chains and modeled after the [[MythologyGag real idol's cyberpunk wedding-dress ensemble]]. This form is based on the same mechanics as the transformations achieved by the Hard-Boiled Heavies and Metal Sonic in VideoGame/SonicMania.]]

* OtherMeAnnoysMe: Her typical attitude towards her alternate selves across time, of whom she occasionally speaks of. None embody this way of thinking more than 'Smol' Ame, a [[IHatePastMe younger version of herself]] that's become notorious across the local multiverse for being an absolute [[TheTrickster hellion]] at every opportunity.

* SuperMode: Rushia briefly attempts to power up after being defeated by Sonic in ''Myth'', all of the green on her body flashing pink before returning to it's normal colour and Rushia collapsing. Sonic is curious as to what her plan was and ponders whether she was trying to enact this trope, but is unable to stick around and ask. [[spoiler: Rushia later gets a better handle on this power by the time she appears in ''Chrono Chaotix'', unleashing her 'Reaper Mode' on Silver. This encounter reveals that the form is based in necromancy and is a legendary skill among the art: It turns the user's body pink and eyes red, drapes them in black clothing, enhances their magical output and grants extra abilities like [[HealingFactor regeneration]] and levitating (Rushia can already fly, but it's the thought that counts). All of those abilities are displayed by Calliope, who also shares this form's colour scheme, hinting at a connection between them.]]

A peculiar girl who loves bugs, horror and all things macabre, but is somehow just as girly as her sister regardless. Her extravagant style of dress, peculiar mannerisms and off-putting interests (not to mention the [[LethalChef room-evacuating dishes]] she whips up in the kitchen) have historically made Haachama not only a target for isolation, but bullying as well. Haato struggles to be for her in public due to the image she tries to maintain, but at home the two are very close. [[spoiler: After stumbling across a beautiful broken stone in the woods by their house, Haachama found solace in the 'imaginary friend' that came with it, though his feelings for her were much less than pure...]]

* DarkMagicalGirl: In ''Resistance'', we get more of an idea of what Haachama's past was like, revealing that she's had it pretty rough [[StepfordSmiler despite her outward enthusiasm]]. Between bullying, an already troubled mind and a lack of anyone supporting her besides her sister (who is often embarrassed to be associated with her publicly despite how close they are), Haachama became a [[LonersAreFreaks loner and thus even further ostracized by her peers]]. This made her the perfect person to discover the broken Phantom Ruby sometime before ''Plasmagic Seasons'', developing a relationship with the fractured consciousness of Infinite inside that grew deeper the more she put him back together. By the time of ''Resistance'', she thinks she's finally gotten everything she could ever want now that she has incredible powers and a friend by her side, but in truth she's being further dragged into a pit of isolation by Infinite, who is only using her to fulfill his plan of creating a new body and taking revenge on the ones who led to his initial demise. Beneath her AxCrazy grin, Haachama is a tragic figure being led down a dark path thinking she'll find happiness at the end of it.

* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: The events of ''Resistance'' aside, there is one particular problem that she had caused by complete accident. Originally, Reine had actually ''retained'' her faculties in her Spring form, obligatory Plasmagic personality shifts notwithstanding. Only after apprehending Haachama as a trespasser did she get consumed by the Spring Plasmagic and become the beauty freak that Blaze would later encounter.

* DarkIsNotEvil: Shadow is often called Sonic's 'dark reflection' despite their physical differences, and though he has a habit of being the most serious person in the room, he always strives towards doing the right thing. Of course, [[{{AntiHero}} that's a subjective thing that doesn't always match what the other heroes think...]] [[spoiler:This is perfectly exemplified by Devil Shadow: a transformation brought upon through his Black Arms genetics, and used to combat the Holo Dimension equivalent of the one that introduced them into him in the first place.]]

* EvilIsBigger: [[DefiedTrope You wish.]] [[spoiler:You'd think that Devil Shadow was an "evil" transformation, and it does indeed make his frame far larger, but he's still the self-proclaimed protector of all living things under all the dark or demonic aspects of his design.]]

* PowerGivesYouWings: [[spoiler:Along with being significantly bigger and stronger, Devil Shadow is also adorned with a pair of demonic-looking wings on his back.]]

* ButterflyOfDeathAndRebirth: A carry-on from her [[Characters/HololiveGenerationThreeFantasy counterpart]] is Rushia's butterfly motif, representative of her role as a necromancer dealing in matters of death, rebirth and all-around change. Holograph's Rushia takes this to the [[UpToEleven logical extreme]] by literally making her a butterfly.

* OtherMeAnnoysMe: Out of Blaze's four seasonal variants, Spring embodies this trope the most. While they would ''all'' embarrass her for life if she was to remain in the form for too long, most of ''those'' issues can be explained away as something she would never do without the Plasmagic's influence. On the other hand, Spring wears her heart on her sleeve and may end up spilling some things that Blaze would be incapable of taking back.
