[[caption-width-right:350:The big man himself.]]
->''"I only upload high quality video game rips."''
->'''Voiced by:''' Wiseguy ([[http://www.voiceforge.com/demo VoiceForge]])

Based off the real [=GilvaSunner=]'s avatar, [=SiIvaGunner=] (formerly [=GiIvaSunner=]) is a LivingStatue who [[CatchPhrase only uploads high quality video game rips]].
----
* AdvertisedExtra: Despite the channel bearing his name, he has minimal involvement in the lore. His only significant act so far is going to sleep at the end of Season 1.
** He ran the channel during Season 1, but didn't play a significant role in the Season 1 storyline ''[=SiIvaGunner: Rebooted=]'' due to being rebooted.
** He is asleep during Season 2, with other characters running the channel instead.
** He "returned" at the start of Season 3, but didn't take part in anything lore-related... and was eventually revealed to be a fake.
* AuthorAvatar: Has some elements of this, but it's mostly masked by the {{Kayfabe}}.
* BackstoryHorror: [=SiIvaGunner=] is a completely harmless LivingStatue that just wants to create high quality rips, right? Nope. According to [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-BW3DGgJlw Haltmann's Archives]], [=SiIvaGunner=] is a HumanoidAbomination from space that killed a completely innocent person just to steal his computer.
%%* BenevolentBoss: As the boss of his "high quality rip" making company, he's shown to be cheerful towards his workers. Even if a worker screws up with something, he isn't overly harsh about it.
* BigGood: He's the leader of his self-named channel.%%, and is overall shown to be benevolent towards his fellow employees.
* TheBusCameBack: In the ending to ''CCC'' episode 11, [[spoiler: He wakes up from his coma due to Grand Dad suffering from the Voice.]]
* CatchPhrase: "I only upload high quality video game rips."
** During the reboot, it was "I upload high quality video game rips only."
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: He's quite the eccentric person, dedicating his life to creating "high quality video game rips" that he insists are exactly that.
* ConvenientComa: While not actually a coma, him going to sleep at the end of Season 1 has functioned as this trope with him being PutOnABus.
* CompositeCharacter: In the announcement video for ''Volume 6.66'', he and Grand Dad are the same character (though the two are separate otherwise).
* DependingOnTheWriter: His relation to the rips posted on the channel. In [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ExuiLWvioYU this rip]] he acts as quality control for an incoming rip, with some regular person actually making it; in [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ddEp3OBe_PA this rip]] he's shown working with the PowerTrio to make rips; in [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=By78ejBU6z8 this rip]] he says that making high quality rips is a job that he landed; and finally, in the Season 1 ending, when it [[https://youtu.be/7VcYz6KZtqs?t=182 shows]] him witnessing the rip he just created, he's all alone at a computer in his house.
* EarlyInstallmentWeirdness: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMS2j_TbTVk "The Evil King Bowser"]] from ''VideoGame/SuperMarioWorld'' features him speaking, but his voice is provided by Microsoft Sam, rather than [=VoiceForge=]'s Wiseguy. (This is not considered an EarlyBirdCameo for Mr. Rental, who would be voiced by Microsoft Sam several months later.)
* EyepatchAfterTimeSkip: Although the time wasn't skipped in this case, he gained his eyepatch after the week-long break following the termination of the original [=GiIvaSunner=] channel. After the two-month hiatus caused by the second termination, he got another minor redesign, this time having scars on his body.
* HeavySleeper: He's managed to sleep through everything happening on the channel since Season 1 ended.
* HiddenDepths: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-BW3DGgJlw "The Creation of GiIvaSunner [FILE-01] - Haltmann's Archives"]] provides us with [=GiIvaSunner=]'s backstory, which is surprisingly elaborate.
* {{Jerkass}}: In "Menu - ''Garfield''", a WebVideo/{{Garfielf}} parody, [=SiIva=] plays the role of Garfield. He repeatedly demands things from Grand Dad and gets Nozomi to shoot herself.
* LivingStatue: Depicted as the statue of [[http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-v9VPPDNu4vI/URqt4fZy89I/AAAAAAAAAFk/sMWnR9e8D9A/s1600/538px-Antinous_Ecouen_Louvre_Ma1082_n4.jpg Antinous]] with a bit of datamoshing applied to the hair and right eye, that is also wearing an eyepatch. Interestingly, the "living" part is connected to the channel; he's only alive when the channel is.
* LotusEaterMachine: Is subjected to one. The Haltmann Archives entry on the [=SiIva=] AI reveals that a system has been made for [=SiIvaGunner=] while he was still sleeping to continue making rips in a dream enviroment for the AI's algorithm, named the "Illucidity". After the AI has shut down at the end of Season 6, the channel uploads rips that [=SiIva=] have made with Illucidity while still being asleep.
* {{Pirate}}: Changed his name to "Long John [=SiIvaGunner=]" to celebrate Talk Like A Pirate Day. Notably, this is the only time in the channel's history that the actual Website/YouTube username was changed.
* TheOneThatGotAway: Nikki from ''UsefulNotes/SwapNote'' is [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=By78ejBU6z8 implied]] to be this. Though, this is probably an AbortedArc since she hasn't been mentioned again and the rip seems to contradict the later [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-BW3DGgJlw Haltmann's Archives]] on [=SiIva=]'s origins.
* OriginalCharacter: Everything about him is either original or a product of the channel imitating [=GilvaSunner=].
* PutOnABus: He was sleeping from the end of Season 1 to [[spoiler: ''CCC'' Episode 11]].
* ReadTheFreakingManual: "Please read the channel description."
** During the reboot, it was "Read the channel description, please."
* RipVanWinkle: Grandiose City doesn't very much resemble how it was when he left it, so this is inevitable.
* TakenForGranite: When the [=GiIvaSunner=] channel was terminated, he became a lifeless statue. However, this was rectified upon the creation of the [=SiIvaGunner=] channel.
* {{Unobtainium}}: He is made of an unidentified alien mineral that came to Earth in the form of a meteor.
* WelcomeToCorneria: [=SiIvaGunner=] replies to comments almost exclusively by just repeating his CatchPhrase. In some cases, he'll make a small variation. This is mostly exclusive to the pre-reboot era, as he stopped replying to comments by the time of the reboot (possibly due to the fanbase growing too large for the team to reasonably manage comment replies and/or WhyFandomCantHaveNiceThings).

[[folder:Wood Man]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mm2wood.png]]
-> ''"nice"''
->'''Leitmotif:''' [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-PceDnkPCmA mm2wood]]\\
'''Voiced by:''' Creator/ChrisNiosi (2019), Chase Beck (2020-present)
A crudely drawn Robot Master from ''VideoGame/MegaMan2''. He likes to occasionally upload rips, update fans, or otherwise manage the channel without doing a full takeover, often identified through his [[AllLowercaseLetters style of writing]]. His original purpose on the channel was to represent the mm2wood.mid meme for the 2016 HalloweenEpisode, but since 2018 his usual role has been the protagonist of event {{Framing Device}}s and a general {{mascot}} for the channel.
----
* AdaptationalHeroism: The original Wood Man is from Mega Man's RoguesGallery, but ''this'' Wood Man is pretty much never seen doing anything villanous and has no opposition to anything [=SiIva=]-related. He did revive The Voice, but at the same time he uploaded a bunch of rips just because he likes making people laugh; it's implied he only did this because The Voice created Wood Man in the first place. Similarly, he goes along with The Voice's order to try and kill Nozomi, but he's rather hesitant to do so and he gives up two punches in, ultimately deciding to quit working for The Voice altogether. Afterwards, he teams up with Robbie Rotten, a HarmlessVillain, and tries to capture Nozomi again, but mostly just for fun. Then he decides to start living in an alternate universe where he doesn't have to worry about the ''CCC'', and is pretty much a protagonist from that point on.
* AllLowercaseLetters: This is his usual way of speaking, although it's not strictly followed (i.e. sometimes the word "I" is capitalized).
* ApocalypticLog: The FramingDevice for the December 2022 ''[=SiIvaGunner=] All-Star Nuclear Winter Festival'' event was basically him writing one.
* BigBad: He was technically the "antagonist" of Season 1, at least taken in the context of the channel's {{Kayfabe}}, since he was the one responsible for corrupting the track and artist names in the albums [[RunningGag which SiIva always complained about in the description of each album announcement video]].
* BigFun: He's pretty big and is a laid-back comedic relief.
* ButNowIMustGo:
** After the 2016 Halloween special, he left the channel to fight Mega Man. He eventually came back and was revealed to be working for The Voice.
** In the finale of ''All-Star Nuclear Winter Festival'', Wood Man concludes that he, and the meteor he and Joke-Explainer™ 7000 had been searching throughout the event's storyline, do not belong there, and went on to touch the meteor himself to take care of some "unfinished business", ostensibly leaving Joke-Explainer™ behind, never going to see him again.
* CatchPhrase: "nice"
* CatchingSomeZs: He caused [=SiIvaGunner=] to do this during the 2016 Halloween special (replacing the "Please read the channel description" line of each rip) by uploading rips while [=SiIva=] was still asleep, but without fully taking over the channel himself.
* CharacterBlog: Not really a blog, but he runs the website https://mm2woodman.neocities.org/.
* ComputerVirus: Heavily implied to be such. Not only was the ''VideoGame/MightyNo9'' rip with his Leitmotif identified as one, but he's also behind the "corrupted" names in the albums.
* DimensionalTraveler: Wood Man can travel between the figment realm and the human realm at will. According to The Voice, this is something only Wood Man and The Voice himself are capable of. Wood Man takes it to another level though by also traveling to an alternate timeline where Chad Warden takes the channel for himself after the reboot, and eventually Wood Man just ditches the ''Christmas Comeback Crisis'' universe entirely, leaving it in December 2016 while he screws around in another dimension (where the ''King for a Day'' and Halloween events take place).
* DragonTheirFeet: The Voice set up Wood Man's eventual appearance, yet the Robot Master didn't actually show up until long after The Voice was defeated by Chad. Wood Man later plays a crucial role in The Voice's return, which would technically subvert this trope.
* EarlyBirdCameo: His actual debut was during the ContinuityReboot, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YRRgtchGnAk as seen here]].
* EarlyInstallmentCharacterDesignDifference: Originally, he looked exactly like the StylisticSuck MS Paint drawing of him associated with mm2wood. Later appearances keep the same simplified face from the drawing, but give him a body that resembles his classic ''Mega Man'' counterpart.
* FourthWallObserver:
** He knows who ''really'' made each high quality rip (out-of-universe), and he uses this knowledge to "corrupt" the artist and song names in [=SiIvaGunner=]'s albums (in other words, he gives proper credit to the rippers).
** After stopping the reboot's "Genocide" timeline, he makes a comment about how Genocide Chad Warden is more like his real-life counterpart than the version we originally saw in the reboot.
** In [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1M9kOVtK5o4 "Wood Man & Robbie Rotten"]], Wood Man explains that he aware of the fact that it is not Christmas 2016 anymore, despite that being when the ''Christmas Comeback Crisis'' takes place. He also knows that it is the release date for ''VideoGame/KirbyStarAllies''.
* GroundhogDayLoop: How he describes knowing that it's not Christmas 2016 anymore. Interestingly, he says that he could leave at any time and he'd be free from the loop, but doesn't because he wants his friends to be free, too.
* GreenThumb: His signature weapon is the Leaf Shield. Though as he found out when fighting Nozomi, [[SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome throwing a bunch of leaves at your opponent isn't a very deadly attack.]]
* HalloweenEpisode: Hosts both of the channel's Halloween specials, dubbed ''The [=SiIvaGunner=] Spooktacular Halloween Horror Special''. His leitmotif is one of the main memes for the event along with "Haunted House" and "Kyun! Vampire Girl".
* HeelFaceTurn: While he's not taking Nozomi's side per se, he decided to quit working with The Voice in Episode 4 of the ''Christmas Comeback Crisis''. Subverted in Episode 5 when he teams up with Robbie Rotten to capture Nozomi.
* MundaneSolution: When tasked with solving a riddle in "Act 2: The Prize", he just looks it up online.
* MurderIsTheBestSolution: Yohane inadvertently claims she's the one giving Takane nightmares. Wood Man ''immediately'' invites Takane to burn Yohane at the stake.
* OneWingedAngel: As of Episode 9, he can now turn into a Smolitzer-like mech for Robbie to pilot.
* PowerTrio: For the Halloween specials, along with 8-Bit Beast and Takane Shijou.
* RaidersOfTheLostParody: Briefly went on adventures as Woodyana Stones, Raider Made from Lost Bark during an audio drama made for the ''[=SiIvaSummer=] All-Star Festival''.
* ReadTheFreakingManual:
** When he uploads rips without doing a full channel takeover, it will usually say something like "please read the channel description. nice", if not just "nice"
** During the 2017 Halloween special, "please read the nice and spooky channel description. oooooooo nice."
** Averted during his other takeovers.
* RealityWarper: He has several odd abilities, likely resulting from him effectively being born from a computer virus. He can enter the real world (something that that only human-Figment hybrids are supposed to be able to do), he can "corrupt" the artist/song names in the albums, and he can temporarily whisk the channel into an alternate timeline.
* StylisticSuck: His entire existence is basically this. From his character design, to his {{Leitmotif}}. {{Downplayed}} from Season 3 onwards.
* SquishyWizard: Has the power to transcend dimensions, corrupt files, take over the channel, and revive the Voice... but his Leaf Shield does absolutely nothing and his arm falls off when he tries to punch Nozomi.
* {{Troll}}: Often messes with the channel for his own amusement.

[[caption-width-right:225:"You may call me... THE VOICE INSIDE YOUR HEAD."]]
->''"Greetings, my dear Chad."''
->'''Voiced by:''' UK Graham
->'''Leitmotif:''' [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JMtRysYUoF8 P-R-O-G-R-A-M]]

The Voice is a human-Figment hybrid and the channel's BigBad. His ultimate goal is to destroy all anime (except for Manga/JojosBizarreAdventure, [[DependingOnTheWriter usually]]).
----
* AffablyEvil: The Voice always presents himself as being polite and reasonable, even if his goals are usually quite anathemic to the well-being of the channel.
* AscendedFanon: His appearance that debuted in the ''Christmas Comeback Crisis'' was based off [[https://www.reddit.com/r/GiIvaSunner/comments/4rrdct/the_voice_inside_chads_head/ this fanart]] made during the reboot.
* AmbiguouslyHuman: He appears as a silhouette of a man, with an inverted pyramid for a head and a purple eye in the middle... except he's not just a silhouette due to lighting, he actually ''is'' all black (besides his eye). Later appearances also indicate that he wears a suit.
* AmbiguousSituation: It's not entirely clear what he's been doing since Haltmann took the channel from him.
* BackFromTheDead: Thanks to Wood Man's cooperation, he's able to return for the Christmas special.
* BerserkButton: "Weeaboo anime bullshit".
* BigBad: His desire to purge all anime places him as the main antagonist. ''AMUNO Le Film'', having killed the original Silvain and thus becoming AMUNO's main target.
* BlatantLies: According to the Voice, "Snow halation" was never popular until it rode on the coat-tails of Grand Dad. This, of course, ignores the fact that "Snow halation" was already the most popular and well-known Franchise/LoveLive song years before Grand Dad was made infamous on Vinesauce, let alone the creation of [=SiIvaGunner=].
* CameBackStrong: Upon his return, the Voice recreates Haltmann, obliterates the beacon, seemingly terrorizes the city, [[CurbStompBattle crushes Grand Dad, Loud Nigra, and Meta Knight's attempt at retaliating]], and captures CG, Sens, Haruka, Robbie, Tito, and Felix. All in less than two minutes.
* EvilBrit: He has a rather noticeable British accent.
* {{Hypocrite}}: Criticizes "Snow halation" for being "weeaboo anime bullshit", yet is perfectly good with "GO MY WAY!!" taking its place. Later on, his goal becomes "purge all weebs", yet he's ''also'' perfectly fine with the ''Franchise/JoJosBizarreAdventure'' series and ''only'' that.
* InSeriesNickname: "The Gay Mexican-Ass in my Ass", courtesy of Chad.
* KnightOfCerebus:
** After he showed up, things became noticeably more serious. The humor didn't completely disappear from the channel, but his appearance brought more conflict than anyone anticipated from a channel that uploads BaitAndSwitch high quality video game rips.
** Manages to become an even bigger one during the ''Christmas Comeback Crisis''. Not only did he kidnap all of the memes, but he also kills off the entire Cinderella Girls crew, just to show that he isn't fucking around anymore. And that was just the first episode.
** And then later subverted when Inspector Gadget took control of the channel, ruining The Voice's office in a comical manner while The Voice himself is, ironically, utterly powerless to stop him.
* LateArrivalSpoiler: His return in the Christmas special spoils his demise in the reboot arc.
* MaliciousMisnaming: "The Gay Mexican Ass In My Ass", from Chad Warden.
* NiceJobFixingItVillain:
** Him offering Chad to rule together over [=SiIvaGunner=] managed to give Chad an opening to revive "Snow halation"... which he ''destroyed'' before.
** [[spoiler:In "One Last Chance", he managed to severely injure Grand Dad... which made [=SiIvaGunner=] finally woke up after his six-year long slumber because he felt Grand Dad's pain more than any other Figments.]]
* NoNeedForNames: Insists that he be called "The Voice Inside Your Head" because names are not important to him.
* OriginalCharacter: The most original character in the entire [=SiIvaGunner=] canon, actually, since he is not based on anything at all, and he does not represent any pre-existing meme or RunningGag.
* OutOfFocus: Despite being the main antagonist, he has only had a few appearances on the channel since Inspector Gadget took it from him in Spring 2017.
* PaintingTheMedium: His speech is always rendered in a pixel font. Though this may have originally been done to differentiate his dialogue from Chad Warden's, it carried over to the VisualNovel presentation of the ''Christmas Comeback Crisis'', where the distinction a moot point because all the dialogue is labeled.
* PurpleIsPowerful: His single facial feature is a glowing purple eye.
* ReadTheFreakingManual: "I order you to read the channel description."
* SharpDressedMan: In the VideoGame/GarrysMod rips.
* StockScream: Does the Howie scream as he dies from the power of the MF LIKE BUTTON, and again when Chad shoots him in the alternate timeline.
* SyntheticVoiceActor: He is voiced by UK voice Graham, which is available on the Acapela Box and the [=NaturalReaders=] voice demos.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Pizza. To an... [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbqeJfspCH8 unhealthy extent]].
* WellIntentionedExtremist: He claims to have caused the reboot to prevent "Snow halation"-related discourse from destroying the [=SiIvaGunner=] fanbase. As for his actions in the ''Christmas Comeback Crisis''... [[NotSoWellIntentionedExtremist not so much]].
** His apparent real motive, revealed in ''Pokémon: Grand Dad'' (a ''VideoGame/PokemonFireRed'' ROM hack which was part of the reboot ARG) does not change his position as well-intentioned, as he was trying to protect the channel from an (as of now unknown) [[GreaterScopeVillain bigger threat]]. However, this seems to be an AbortedArc, since it hasn't been mentioned again despite The Voice returning in the ''Christmas Comeback Crisis''.
* TheWorfEffect: Tends to happen a lot to the Voice in non-''Christmas Comeback Crisis'' rips, but even in the series proper he's on the receiving end of one instance.
** After being the main villain during the reboot and most of the ''Christmas Comeback Crisis'', Inspector Gadget takes the channel from him with minimal effort.
** [[Series/{{Mythbusters}} The Mythbusters]] toss him around with impunity and otherwise humiliate him in one ''VideoGame/GarrysMod'' rip.
** The end of the 2023 April Fools' Day event has him get arrested by [[Website/SCPFoundation the Three Moons Initiative]] for [[LoonyLaws Crimes Against Anime]].
* TheVoice: He is never given a proper physical appearance during the [=SiIvaGunner=]: Rebooted story arc. Eventually subverted with him appearing in the ''Christmas Comeback Crisis'', though it wasn't entirely clear at first (see AmbiguouslyHuman).

The bumbling cyborg inspector from the [[WesternAnimation/InspectorGadget classic 80's cartoon]]. As the video and the above quote imply, Gadget loves playing {{VideoGame/Minecraft}} (or "Minecrap", as he says it), and especially enjoys building with "brown bricks."

A clone of Inspector Gadget known as Gadgetini Clone 2.0 was created by President Haltmann to attack The Voice. Gadget succeeded in performing a HostileShowTakeover of the channel, which lasted for two weeks. After that, Gadget broke down due to "DMCA violations", allowing Haltmann to take over the channel for himself.

On AprilFoolsDay 2018, the "[=SiIvaGunner=]" that had been running the channel since the beginning of Season 3 seemingly malfunctioned, revealing himself to be Inspector Gadget. WebVideo/TheNostalgiaCritic immediately took a stand against this new Gadget, citing how repetitive the previous Gadget takeover was. On April 9th, Gadget gave up the channel after a battle with the Nostalgia Critic and several other YouTubers, thus leaving it open for The Nostalgia Critic's takeover.
----
* CatchPhrase: Anything regarding "brown bricks" or "Minecrap."
* TheDragon: His ultimate role in Haltmann's scheme was to usurp the Voice's position as the one in control of the channel and eventually hand it over to Haltmann himself.
* ElmuhFuddSyndwome: Very subtle, most notable when he says "Minecrap."
* GiantSpaceFleaFromNowhere: While he was a major in-joke amongst the [=SiIvaGunner=] backroom members and frequently referenced in the channel's liked videos, he didn't make a notable appearance directly on the channel until [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TP4XBFo8GoQ this rip]], which wasn't lore, but had high production value and predated Gadget Week by only three days.
* HostileShowTakeover: Destroys The Voice's office and takes control of the channel.
* FinalBattle: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gT47xlDK-iM Your Best Nightmare (Alpha Mix)]] seems to chronicle one between Gadget and the several YouTubers vying to take control of the channel; this battle is won by the Nostalgia Critic.
* KnightOfCerebus: {{Inverted}}; he takes over the channel from the much more serious and imposing Voice in a highly comedic manner, while The Voice himself is utterly powerless to stop him. He becomes more threatening during his second takeover in 2018, but not too much.
* PreAsskickingOneLiner: To The Voice.
-->'''Gadget:''' You can shut up now. I'm always on duty!
* OneWingedAngel: The FinalBattle in the alpha mix of "Your Best Nightmare" seems to imply he has such a form, given that his voice becomes very deep and distorted and that the rip itself is of the battle with [[VideoGame/{{Undertale}} Omega Flowey]], likely one of the most infamous One Winged Angels in recent times.
* ReadTheFreakingManual: "Go-Go Gadget Channel Description!"
* ScrewedByTheLawyers: His in-universe fate. A DMCA from [[CaptainErsatz "Mark Timotei"]] makes him malfunction and shut down.
* ToiletHumor: "Brown bricks" is an obvious poop joke, albeit not a very good one.
* UncertainDoom: What became of him after the Nostalgia Critic took over the channel during his second reign is currently unknown.
* UnexplainedRecovery: Despite breaking down almost a year beforehand, he returns to take over the channel again in April 2018, with no explanation for how he came back (though it's implied that Gadget was disguised as [=SiIvaGunner=] the whole time after Haltmann relinquished control).
* VirginShaming: In the "Minecraft with Gadget" video, Inspector Gadget is quick to assume that a person who built the [[Series/StarTrekTheNextGeneration starship Enterprise]] in Minecraft has never had sex.
* VoiceOfTheLegion: Gains one prior to his final battle with the YouTubers.

->'''Leitmotif:''' [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IyxG8yY6v18 The Noble Haltmann]], [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-5voSvJMjiQ Patched Plains]], etc.

The CEO and President of the [[VideoGame/KirbyPlanetRobobot Haltmann Works Company]]. His ''modus operandi'' is to invade a world, deplete its natural resources, and repeat. He takes over the channel after Inspector Gadget, whom he created to overthrow the Voice, malfunctioned due to DMCA violations. His ownership of the channel has been the status quo for the channel ever since, but at the start of Season 3 he created a [=SiIvaGunner=] clone to host the channel for him.
----
* AscendedExtra: The Haltmann Works Company leitmotif was mainly popular among {{Franchise/Kirby}} fans, with most other people being indifferent. Then President Haltmann became the TheDragon of the ''Christmas Comeback Crisis'' and started showing up nearly every other rip, thanks to the sudden relevance. Considering that the other main leitmotif of the event, "Snow halation", was already one of the channel's major memes, Haltmann received a serious boost in presence.
* CorruptCorporateExecutive: He's the head of a gigantic company, and is a villain to boot. His stated reason for uploading "high quality rips" is because the higher the quality, the bigger the price he can fetch for selling the channel to an off-world buyer later.
-->''"I'm sure [[WesternAnimation/RickAndMorty the Galactic Federation]] or [[Anime/SpaceDandy the Gogol Empire]] will pay very good money for a channel like this one..."''
* TheDogBitesBack: Pissed off by the Voice for lying to bring his daughter back, Haltmann created Inspector Gadget to overthrow him. After Gadget broke down, he took the whole channel to himself.
* TheDragon:
** He is this to The Voice Inside Your Head during the ''Christmas Comeback Crisis''. At first.
** Plays this straight in ''AMUNO Le Film'', taking up the role of the final obstacle between AMUNO and Silvain/the Voice.
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: Loved his daughter, Susanna, and her death caused him to go insane in ''Planet Robobot''. The Voice Inside Your Head has apparently promised that he'll bring Haltmann's daughter back in exchange for his services in Episode 2. He eventually did, but the "Susie" in question is actually Haruka in Susie's outfit. This caused Haltmann to lose his trust in the Voice and overthrew him.
* {{Greed}}: After overthrowing the voice, he has taken over the [=SiIvaGunner=] channel and has frozen time in Grandiose City, all for glorious profit. [[spoiler: Ultimately [[SubvertedTrope subverted]]. In reality, money dosen't matter to him at all. His true goal is to use [=SiIvaGunner=]'s powers to bring his daughter back.]]
* HiddenVillain: Before the ''Christmas Comeback Crisis'', he hadn't made any appearances outside of his leitmotif.
* HeelFaceDoorSlam: After the heroes manage to defeat him and the [=SiIva=] AI's in ''One Last Chance'', he's given a Last-Second Chance by Santa Claus and seemingly accepts the offer, only for him to be executed by the Voice before he can redeem himself.
* MythologyGag: The way his theme song appears in various rips is identical to how it shows up in his game of origin, "invading" other songs while still maintaining the style of what it shows up in.
* PuppetKing: He is ostensibly the president of Grandiose City, but it's quite clear that The Voice Inside Your Head is the one pulling all the strings. Averted when he takes over the channel with Gadget's help.
* ReadTheFreakingManual: "Please read the channel description for glorious profit."
* RedemptionEqualsDeath: [[spoiler:Narrowly subverted. * TotallyRadical: [[ExaggeratedTrope Exaggerated]] when he allowed rips featuring Music/CrazyFrog - a meme which had come and gone [[TurnOfTheMillennium a whole decade prior]] - to be uploaded to the channel.
* TheUnfettered: The Softendo arc (see the B-list folder), which had taken place during his tenure as channel host, [[ImpliedTrope implied]] that he wasn't above sponsoring products that could actually harm their users in order to turn out greater profits.
* WeCanRuleTogether: In ''AMUNO Le Film'', he offers ZVARRI a partnership in ruling the Internet and getting rich in exchange for his cooperation. He refuses and blows up Haltmann.

->'''Leitmotif:''' The Review Must Go On

[[WebVideo/TheNostalgiaCritic The internet critic]] (played by Creator/DougWalker) who remembers old ([[ArtifactTitle and often new]]) movies so ''you'' don't have to. When Inspector Gadget took over the channel again on April 1, 2018, he made a stand against the cyborg, stating that Gadget could really do some good for the channel, but wastes his power by only uploading rips referencing himself. On April 9th, Inspector Gadget left the channel for an unexplained reason, and The Nostalgia Critic promptly took over the channel. His takeover ended on April 15th with the channel being "rebooted" again, returning to the status quo of Season 3.

Notably, Nostalgia Critic's inclusion in the lore coincided with a major controversy surrounding his network, Website/ChannelAwesome, as several of its content creators came forward with their stories of abuse and apathy from the owners of the network.
----
* AdvertisedExtra: Exactly 2 of the 158 rips uploaded during his takeover relate to him: The third-to-last rip, where he has a brief cameo at the end, and the second-to-last rip, which is a mashup of "Snow halation" and his theme song. Though this is all {{justified}} by the fact that Critic took issue with Gadget's use of the Inspector Gadget theme in almost all his rips.
* ContinuityNod: Some rips during his takeover are references to older rips.
* FingerTenting: The channel's [[https://twitter.com/GiIvaSunner/status/983238347685613571 profile picture]] during Critic's takeover has him mimicking [[VisualNovel/DokiDokiLiteratureClub Monika]]'s use of this trope. It's not as innocent-looking on Critic though, as while Monika had a HeldGaze, Critic sports a knowing smirk.
* HiddenVillain: He is implied to be the reason behind the fake [=SiIvaGunner=] glitching out during the first two months of Season 3, but he never made an appearance on the channel until Inspector Gadget's second takeover.
* HostileShowTakeover: In addition to usurping the spot of channel host, some rips have him blast through the video itself while his theme song plays.
* LaResistance: He tried to form one when Inspector Gadget returned, but [[WebVideo/TheIrateGamer his first potential recruit]] wasn't too enthusiastic.
* MissingEpisode: {{Defied}}; his takeover included many reuploads of rips from the original [=GiIvaSunner=] channel.
* NostalgiaFilter: The CentralTheme of Critic's takeover.
-->"We must all remember that while nostalgia is fun, we can't dwell on the past forever--and sometimes things aren't always as good as you remember them. But you should never forget your past - learn from it, appreciate the present, and move onto the future."
-->-- '''[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hz_Hq2H-cUw&lc=UgwrPDBBTJg2TFF0ljZ4AaABAg Triple-Q]]'''
* ReadTheFreakingManual: "Read the channel description [[CatchPhrase so I don't have to.]]"
* StealthPun: His takeover harkens back to the old days of [=SiIvaGunner=]. In other words, it's about nostalgia.
** The profile picture. As mentioned above, content creators from Channel Awesome came forth with stories of mistreatment by the network. A common thread between several of the stories is that Channel Awesome exclusively promoted the Nostalgia Critic, acting like the other creators didn't exist. This explains the reference to [[VisualNovel/DokiDokiLiteratureClub Monika]]; it's parodying the scene where [[spoiler:she has deleted all the other characters, and thus is the only person left for the player to pay attention to]]. Though this connection may not have been intentional.
* StylisticSuck: As part of the "nostalgia", not every rip is up-to-par with the channel's usual standards and a lot of them have issues. [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wq6VvOtXkXI IceCap Zone (Act 1) (JP Version)]] from VideoGame/Sonic3AndKnuckles certainly takes the cake, though, being a "Snow halation" mashup... [[spoiler:that is completely unsynced.]]
* StylisticCallback: Critic uses his takeover to take the channel back to its roots: A new rip every two hours (at least), with nearly every rip containing the Flintstones theme, and older, pre-reboot channel memes like Loud Nigra, Chip tha Ripper, and blue balls becoming common once again while newer ones are mostly absent.
* VeryFalseAdvertising: In [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lx-fO-Pbhu4 his channel trailer]], he boasts about the channel having porn.[[note]]It's a YouTubePoop of the Nostalgia Critic's actual trailer, as a {{pastiche}} of a notorious ''Series/DrakeAndJosh'' Poop, "The Bet Edited".[[/note]]

Winner of the ''King for a Day Tournament'', where the [=SiIvaGunner=] audience voted from sixteen characters to determine what rips they would like to see for a day. Unregistered [=HyperCam=] 2 represents Website/YouTube, more specifically, videos that were uploaded in the late 2000s, which were frequently recorded using unregistered versions of the [=HyperCam=] 2 recording software.
----
* AcronymAndAbbreviationOverload: Uses loads of them in its dialogue.
* ArtifactDomination: [[spoiler:By the Crown before the final battle, turning him into "Unrestrained Hypercam 2".]]
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: Sometimes slips into this in the [=KfAD2=] interviews.
* CuteMachines: Maybe not the cutest robot out there, but its expressionless face allows it to be cute despite ''King for a Day'' having a harsh and sketchy art style. It gets even cuter with the clean ''King for Another Day'' art style, along with the get-up it has as TheHost.
* DarkReprise: A more dramatic, dark mix of Dreamscape plays when [[spoiler:Unrestrained Hypercam 2 enters the scene, titled "DREADSCAPE", which also mixes in the main theme "BE THE KING". The phase two version of the track, "NIGHTMARESCAPE", adds some breakbeats and the melody of "Plastic Love", referencing the musical styles of the tournament's finalists]].
* DecompositeCharacter: Several contestants in the ''King For Another Day'' tournament have sources that overlap with the source list of Hypercam, if the rips made during its takeover are any indication. Such examples include Dr. Robotnik (representing most YouTubePoop), Nico Nico Douga (several [=NND=] memes have crossed over to Website/YouTube, [[LampshadeHanging as Meowth points out]]), and Jack and Elmo (who specifically get [=YTP=] featuring Jack's "octagon" segment from ''Sesame Street)''.
* DiscoDan: [=HyperCam=] never quite caught up to the modern day, both technologically and mentally. It relies on 2000s equipment, acts as if Website/YouTube's five star rating system never went out of use, and references a lot of that decade's memes. Even the two-year wait for its [=KfaD=] compilation album uses this trope as an excuse, since [=HyperCam=] took that long uploading it to [=LimeWire=] using an AOL connection ([[StatingTheSimpleSolution when, as Meowth mentions, it could have just used [=SiIvaGunner=] Studios' wi-fi]]).
* DistressedDude: [[spoiler:Got possessed by the champion's Crown for the final battle and was transformed into a KillerRobot called "Unrestrained Hypercam 2". * FinalBoss: [[spoiler:Of the ''King for Another Day'' tournament, albeit unwillingly. The Crown, having been sentient all this time, possesses Unregistered Hypercam 2, serving as as a boss for DJ Professor K, Mariya Takeuchi, the power of the MF Like button, and everyone else to take down]].
* FunnyRobot: Unsurprisingly, since it's an AffectionateParody of late-2000s Website/YouTube.
* HiddenDepths: It knows of [=MissingNo=].'s existence before it revealed its true form, who tries to leave the King for Another Day tournament, and gives them a pep talk. This and its later interactions with [=MissingNo=]. show a surprising amount of empathy and emotional intelligence on [=HyperCam=]'s part.
* TheHost: Gets promoted to emcee status by John Notwoodman for ''King for Another Day''. Notwoodman made a smart financial move, hiring a host who can both conduct ''and'' record interviews.
* LeaningOnTheFourthWall: Refers to The Voice Inside Your Head as "a siiva character" instead of his actual role in the lore.
* Letters2Numbers: Also in its dialogue.
* LikeBrotherAndSister: By the end of [=KfAD2=], [=HyperCam=] refers to Nico Nico Douga as its "[Japanese] sister." As representatives of Website/YouTube and [=NND=] (and their audiences) respectively, they naturally have a few shared memes, and both exhibit some of the strange mannerisms of the services' users.
* NostalgiaFilter: InUniverse, Unregistered [=HyperCam=] 2 longs for the old days of Website/YouTube and wishes to use its status as King for a Day to go back to the late-2000s era of the site.
** That said, a few quick moments in the [=KfAD2=] interviews show [=HyperCam=] enjoying more recent Website/YouTube videos and celebrities, including WebVideo/BillWurtzbill], in its downtime.
* NoWaterproofingInTheFuture: [=HyperCam=] states that it's not waterproof when it's trying to convince [=MissingNo.=] to come out of the river.
* OriginalCharacter: Unlike every other competitor, Unregistered [=HyperCam=] 2 is a screen-capturing program, not a character. The [=SiIvaGunner=] team created a robot character, loosely based on the software's icon, to use in the ''King for a Day Tournament''.
* PleaseSubscribeToOurChannel: "don't forget to sub and rate 5 stars, thx for watching"
* ReadTheFreakingManual: Averted.
* {{Retraux}}: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ePrwtzeDFhc Scheming Weasel]] and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FR_TFG4AqIk Awesome Plan]] are 8-bit covers.
* SlidingScaleOfRobotIntelligence: Hovers in the gray area between levels 2 and 3. While [=HyperCam=] is sentient, sapient, and smarter than it appears, it's still somewhat childlike in mannerisms and a bit of a scatterbrain.
* StrangeSyntaxSpeaker: Speaks like a typical Website/YouTube user of the era. During the tournament, its quotes against the other competitors frequently reference tutorials and LetsPlays that it is apparently hosting, or in some cases it just makes up a relevant video title.
* SurveillanceDrone: Most likely, considering it's a camcorder. Several articles on the [=KfAD2=] Mojo begin and/or end with [=HyperCam=] being prompted to start/stop recording, indicating that it is essentially the reader's point of view in these scenes.
** During [=MissingNo=].'s first "interview," [[spoiler:an unconscious [=HyperCam=] is unknowingly used as a tape recorder by Big Chungus as he describes the glitch picking off the other two members of the Cool Meme Team, [[ApocalypticLog before it comes back for him]]. The other two recordings, of Wobbuffet and Meowth respectively freaking out, might have also been taken by/through [=HyperCam=]. Regardless, both hosts come to after the madness ends, with no memory of what just happened and the tapes next to another cassette player.]]
* ThankingTheViewer: At the end of every rip description, and again in a comment on its last rip.
* TheKnightsWhoSaySquee: It's a fan of Neil Cicierega and rushes to him at the rooftop of the Gaylord the moment it sees him... only to knock him off the ledge.

Round 1 competitor in the ''King for a Day'' tournament, having lost to Etika. The LargeHam head DJ of Jet Set Radio, Tokyo-to's premier pirate radio station. He represents the works and style of Japanese video game composer Hideki Naganuma, including the soundtracks of ''Sonic Rush'' and his home series ''VideoGame/JetSetRadio''.

He came back with a vengeance in the ''King for Another Day'' tournament, adding all other games that have been published by SEGA (except the ''Puyo Puyo'' series and ''Sonic'' titles other than ''Sonic Rush'') to his source list and subsequently blowing through the winners' bracket with ease and defeating finalists Law & Disorder and Mariya Takeuchi to secure himself as the champion of the tournament.

In a strange twist on the trope, Mariya's an unwitting time traveler, meaning he was able to catch up with her current older self after her younger self left, as revealed at the end of his takeover.
* LargeHamRadio: The hammy announcer and head DJ of ''Jet Set Radio'''s titular radio station. When it came time for his takeover "day", we got to hear him ham it up in full.
* OlderAndWiser: While it's generally assumed that both of his designs in ''Jet Set Radio'' are alternate continuities, here they're just him at different stages in life. By the time he's returned for the second tournament, he's learned a lot from his past mistakes and is a pretty wise guy for such a wisecracker.
* PhraseCatcher: While he may say it himself constantly, other characters have heavily associated him with the phrase "funky fresh beats", taken from ''VideoGame/LethalLeague Blaze's'' "AIN'T NOTHIN' LIKE A FUNKY BEAT" track.[[note]]another track composed by Hideki Naganuma, which also had the good fortune of releasing around the first [=KfaD=] tournament[[/note]]

* TheHedonist: On top of [[DirtyRap really liking sex]], she admits she's even better when she's [[HardDrinkingPartyGirl drinking]] and suggests that the listener take "[[DrugsAreBad a pill or two]]" in order to [[DestructoNookie keep up with her]].
* HorsemenOfTheApocalypse: The four backup dancers from the original music video seem to serve as such to her, and have been slightly recolored so as to represent the traditional four horsemen.
* HotAsHell: The resident SatanicArchetype of [=SiIvaGunner=] is also a MsFanservice known for rips featuring [[DirtyRap extremely explicit rap lyrics]].
* LeakingCanOfEvil: Made a few appearances in rip descriptions after being captured in the Chaos Emerald (which was promptly stolen by Robotnik), indicating that she was making progress on breaking out. Which ended up happening in the ''Curse of the Fallen Angel'' mini-series.
* MythologyGag: Her takeover is a reference to the ''Super Mario Galaxy'' mod "''Mario Galaxy Repainted''" (played through by Vinesauce in 2016, as with the origin of a lot of other [=SiIva=] jokes), which has her song replacing that of Battlerock Galaxy's. The YANKIN FOREVER video shows the Battlerock as a weapon of sorts under her control, although Knuckles effortlessly destroys it.
* PungeonMaster: Desires to bring about "[[TheEndOfTheWorldAsWeKnowIt The Pussylypse]]", and she gleefully referred to the spike of Lady rips during November 2021 as "Yanksgiving".
* SatanicArchetype: The closet thing the [=SiIva=] Universe has to the Devil, given her frequent association with Satanic imagery and the fact that "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VnIOlZvdpkI YANKIN FOREVER]]" shows her and her backup dancers residing in Hell.
* SdrawkcabSpeech: When [=SiIva=] really wants to play up her [[SatanicArchetype hellish qualities]], Lady's entrance is heralded by a rip of "River Twygz Bed" mashed up with backmasked "Yankin" lyrics.
* SealedEvilInACan: Her arc seemingly ends with Knuckles trapping her in a Chaos Emerald, finally (at least mostly) freeing the [=SiIva=] channel of her influence. Shortly after, [[HereWeGoAgain Robotnik steals the Emerald]], leaving its current whereabout unknown.
* ShapeShifting: An apparent ability of hers, as seen in ''Curse of the Fallen Angel''.
* SirSwearsALot: Comes with the territory of singing DirtyRap in nearly every rip that features her.
* SummonToHand: Materializes a microphone out of nowhere to rap against [[VideoGame/FridayNightFunkin Boyfriend]] in "Philly Nice (In-Game Version)".
* VibrantOrange: She's always depicted wearing a orange minidress, fitting her [[TheHedonist fun-loving]] personality.
* VoiceOfTheLegion: Despite all the rips mashed with "Yankin" largely keeping her voice intact, the YANKIN FOREVER video has her voice as this.

[[caption-width-right:250:[[labelnote:Click for KFAD2 Picture]]https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/metal_ajit_pai_5.png Metal Ajit Pai[[/labelnote]]]]
->''"Do the Harlem Shake!"''
->'''Qualifier:''' Backroom Pick
->'''Placement ([=KFAD=]):''' 11th
->'''Placement ([=KFAD2=]):''' 21st
->'''Leitmotifs:''' Harlem Shake
The then-Chairman of the United States Federal Communications Commission, infamous for his stance against net neutrality. His rip sources feature the Harlem Shake by Baueer, as well as fidget spinners and internet latency. Upon being snapped by Thanos in the ''King for a Day'' tournament, he returned in ''King for Another Day'' as a mecha-piloting cloud of dust known as "Metal Ajit Pai", adding mecha-related rips to his sources.

Despite his poor performance in both tournaments, he manages to reincarnate as a desktop helper on [=SiIva=]'s computer and thus take over the channel for a week, though with rips featuring the Harlem Shake being the sole focus rather than either of his sourcelists from the tourneys.
----
* AIIsACrapshoot: Planned to extend the Shakeover indefinitely across the whole internet before getting caught by the antivirus.
* AssholeVictim: No one on the internet likes him, thus, there are many comments saying he deserved to be snapped by Thanos.
* BadSanta: He wears a Santa outfit like he did in his infamous "7 Things You Can Do Without Net Neutrality" video, and he's a HateSink that frequently makes comments invoking InternetIncorporated.
* {{BFG}}: Wields a large Nerf rifle, which gets upgraded into an even larger form as Metal Ajit Pai.
* {{BFS}}: Also wields an upgradeable lightsabre in ''Kolo Terorita'' that can reflect enemy projectiles.
* HateSink: It's {{downplayed}} (especially after [=KFAD1=]), but his RealLife counterpart is disliked among netizens for his stance against Net Neutrality, and he was only in [=KFAD1=] to be a JokeCharacter with a weak sourclist. Even after the first tourney, both [=KFAD2=] and The Harlem Shakeover continue with the InternetIncorporated personification given to him.
* HookHand: Has one, except it's replaced with a fidget spinner.
* HostileShowTakeover: The Harlem Shakeover, orchestrated by him single handedly taking over the channel via his sentient dust flying into [=SiIvaGunner=]'s computer on a breeze. He was subsequently taken care of by the computer's antivirus software, but he remains alive inside the Recycle Bin so long as nobody actualy empties it.
* HumongousMecha: His new design in King for Another Day.
* InternetIncorporated: His primary trait on [=SiIvaGunner=]. Several of his VS. and Victory quotes allude to the idea, as he acts like he has total control over the web. During the actual Harlem Shakeover event, he notes that [=SiIvaGunner=] is just the beginning and he wants to spread it to the entire internet (though the antivirus stops him in the nick of time).
* JokeCharacter: He was pretty much one in the first tournament. The proposed RunningGags for his takeover were two outdated memes ("Harlem Shake", fidget spinners) and slow internet, and for a promo he got a single half-hearted mashup rather than multiple full arrangements like the others. When he predictably lost his match against Thanos, he got snapped to dust by the Infinity Gauntlet, being the only contestant to die, and he was completely ommitted from the final character shots. Averted in the sequel: ''Metal'' Ajit Pai was a serious character. And he actually won a match (against Adam Levine in the Loser's Bracket).
* LamePunReaction: "[[https://twitter.com/GiIvaSunner/status/1019285807083896832 (Pai wanted to call himself "The Harlem Shakeover" but this name was denied by tournament staff.)]]"
* MeaningfulReleaseDate: His takeover starts on the tenth anniversary of the release of The Harlem Shake.
* PromotedToPlayable: In ''Kolo Terorita''.
* ReadTheFreakingManual: "You can still read the channel description."
* ScareQuotes: His lone promotional rip in the first tournament has a pair in the description:
--> """Arrangement""": [=SmokyThrill77=]
* SeriousBusiness: In his MOJO!! interview, he fought the [[Anime/TengenToppaGurrenLagann the Gurren Lagann team]] over the last piece of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
* TookALevelInBadass: Is resurrected as a HumongousMecha called Metal Ajit Pai in the second tournament and even scored a single victory against Adam Levine in the Loser's Bracket.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
* VoiceGrunting: In [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Il7PQa9cOM8 "PSA from Former Chairman of the FCC Ajit Pai,"]] his words are voiced mostly by the first two syllables of the "con los terroristas" sample.
* TheWorfEffect: Despite his transition to Metal Ajit Pai, he was beaten by Nico Nico and Wario Partners, LLP in the King for Another Day Tournament.
* WorthyOpponent: Initially resents Thanos for reducing him to dust, but eventually settle their differences afterwards because of their shared interest of old internet memes and thanking Thanos for giving him a new body.

-> '''Leitmotif''': [[VideoGame/KirbyTripleDeluxe "Magalor Shop"]]
-> '''Voiced by''': [=sprayjea=]
A robot that looks like Smol Nozomi. [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin She likes to explain jokes.]] She first appeared in a (possibly non-canon) recap segment in the ''CCC''. She also appeared in Haltmann's Archives as a one-off ([[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PpxY4uybaBo here]]), the Halloween 2019 event as a side character and the Christmas 2022 event as a major character.\\\

After Wood Man is PutOnABus in [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mRLaC9Zgmv4 The Disappearance Wood Man]] and [=SiIvagunner=] wakes up in the [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YaUfGr8GKR8 eleventh episode]] of the ''Christmas Comeback Crisis'', she replaces them in their roles as the channel's mascot and main host respectively.
----
* AdvancedTech2000: Which is also [[ArcNumber 7 grand]].
* AscendedExtra: After making a few minor appearances in the channel's comment section and a CCC recap segment, she's given her first major role in the eleventh ''Haltmann's Archives'' file and gains larger roles in her following appearances, which eventually culminates in her becoming the channel's main host following the end of Season 7.
* CannotTellAJoke: {{Implied}} by Wood Man, though he doesn't seem too bothered by it.
--> '''Wood Man''': J.E. always manages to come up with something amusing to lift my mood, even if she inevitably explains what makes it so funny afterward.
* ContrivedCoincidence: Haltmann's Archives notes that she has Wood Man's >:] face engraved on her despite existing before Wood Man, but they just chalk it up to coincidence.
* DontExplainTheJoke: In general, she's a parody of the fans' tendency to explain every joke on the channel. The bio for her original [=YouTube=] account mentions that she likes to "explain, and thus ruin" jokes.
* EarlyBirdCameo: The character was originally a Website/YouTube account ran by a team member[[note]]The team member in question had their [=YouTube=] channels terminated for a while in 2021, confirming that Joke-Explainer was an internal thing. * InSeriesNickname: Wood Man calls her "J.E." during the Christmas 2022 event.
* MsExposition: She lives to explain jokes, and she also explains things that aren't jokes.
* TheNeedless: Haltmann's Archives notes that she appears to have infinite power from an unknown source.
* PreviouslyOn: Due to the ScheduleSlip between the 6th and 7th ''Christmas Comeback Crisis'' episodes, she was added to the start of the latter to give a recap of the first half of the series.
* ReadTheFreakingManual: "For more information, please read the channel description!"
* SuperPoweredRobotMeterMaids: She has {{jetpack}}s in her hair even though it doesn't factor into her purpose at all.

[[folder:Minor hosts]]
Characters who hosted the channel for a brief period of time and didn't make any future appearances as a character or otherwise connect to major lore.

!!General tropes
* HostileShowTakeover: Their defining trait.
* OneSceneWonder: They show up, get their DayInTheLimelight, and then disappear.
* RetCon: As of "Channel Hosts and Takeovers [FILE-15] - Haltmann's Archives", these takeovers are just the [=SiIva=] A.I. malfunctioning. This was explicitly referred to as a retcon ("and not a good one at that") in [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7V-RBKrHh0&lc=UgwO5feTYnWlyfgqR-J4AaABAg.9VxVzL1jklb9VxYmaHU_iq a team member's comment]] on the video. This is changed again in "Garlic-Flavored Tacos [FILE-16] - Haltmann's Archives", where it was found out that the A.I. is actually mimicking events from a parallel universe where the takeovers ''did'' happen, re-confirming that said takeovers being real.

!!Creator/ToddHoward
->''"Alright. That's it. No more screwing around, no more disguises. It's me. Todd goddamn Howard. Yes, it was me the whole time."''
The takeover host of the UsefulNotes/{{E3}} 2018 channel event.
----
* CatchPhrase: "Buy [[VideoGame/TheElderScrollsVSkyrim my game]]."
* PaperThinDisguise: A new one for each day of his takeover: industry insider Blodd Bloward, proud officer Snodd Flowered, [[Anime/LoveLive world-famous school idol Nozomi Toddjo]], and deathbed-ridden Ted Howitzer. He drops the act on the final day.

!!The Grinch
[[Literature/HowTheGrinchStoleChristmas The Grinch]], at least the incarnation of him from [[WesternAnimation/TheGrinch2018 the 2018 Illumination reboot]], who takes over the channel shortly after [[VideoGame/Persona5 Joker]]'s inclusion in ''VideoGame/SuperSmashBrosUltimate'' in Christmas 2018 and tries to leak information about [=SiIvaGunner=] onto the channel early.
----
* BewareTheSillyOnes: Thought The Grinch was just a HarmlessVillain? Nope. He ruined the channel's Christmas and since he's owned by Creator/SonyPictures, he's connected to Creator/SonyMusic, the ones responsible for entire channel being removed from Website/YouTube in January 2019.
* BigBadWannabe: He tries to leak [=SiIvaGunner=]'s information onto the channel, but he's not very good at it.
* ChristmasEpisode: Naturally, fills this role for 2018.
* ComicallyMissingThePoint: Describes WesternAnimation/TheGrinch2018's mediocre reviews as if they're really good.
* KilledOffForReal: Having his heart grow three sizes is considered a serious case of heart inflammation. He used the limited time he had left to promote the album of his own rips.
* StylisticSuck: The voice-acting and slideshow-esque presentation in his rips seemingly mock how leaks often aren't very well-made.
* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: When he returned to the channel for Christmas 2020 to promote [[https://gilvasunner.bandcamp.com/album/dr-pavels-how-the-grinch-took-over-siivagunner an album of his rips]], his heart had grown three sizes from the last time he was there. His doctor considered it a grave abnormality and gave him a week to live.

!!Phineas & Ferb
->''"Yes, yes we are."''
The kings of using a summer to its fullest, WesternAnimation/PhineasAndFerb took over the channel on August 28, 2020 as the supposed final event of the [=SiIvaSummer=] All-Star Festival.
----
* StrictlyFormula: The Twitter account during their takeover goes through all the usual episode beats that one would expect from the duo.
* ReadTheFreakingManual: "Aren't you a little young to be reading the channel description?"
* WeirdnessCensor: Linda, as usual. She [[https://twitter.com/GiIvaSunner/status/1299579015309570049 believes the duo's rips are normal.]]

!!Doofenshmirtz
->''"Haha! Now that my Descript-Inator device has worked on you, you have now been sufficiently distracted, allowing me to take over this channel--and the Tri-State Area!"''
The ''true'' final event of the [=SiIvaSummer=] All-Star Festival, Dr. Doofenshmirtz takes over the channel with the use of his Channel-Takeover-Inator, leaving Perry the Platypus to put a stop to it.
----
* EarlyBirdCameo: Dr. Doofenshmirtz made his takeover intentions known during the Professor K Takeover in July 2020. Although he was thwarted there by Perry, he did eventually make good on his promise a little over a month later.
* ExcrementStatement: He [[WebVideo/RealTimeFandub pisses on the second dimension]].
* ReadTheFreakingManual: "BEHOLD, the Video-descript-inator! This device will force anyone who reads this to look at the channel description!"

!!Vladimir Putin
->''"Ladies and gentlemen, I am Gay! Gay! GAY! I Like Long Big Cocks! I'M A SUPER SUPER GAY! I Like Long Big Cocks!"''

The President and former Prime Minister of the Russian Federation. Known for being a "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1d7Llx4rm8 SUPER SUPER GAY]]" and widening himself to [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wl959QnD3lM walk through the Kremlin]]. He [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=At2NOOZWdA0&list=PL04Sd__t5mdFlg1la4tkhBN407PQV3HGk briefly took over the channel in December 2020]], but retired one day later.
----
* BiggerIsBetterInBed: He likes his cocks long and big.
* RepeatedForEmphasis: He repeats the above song to be very clear.
* ReadTheFreakingManual: "Please be read by the channel description."
* SuddenSoundtrackStop: His [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=At2NOOZWdA0 main theme]] stops suddenly when he unwidens to announce his retirement.

!!Creator/GabeNewell
->''"After [[ArcNumber 7]] years in development, hopefully it will have been worth the weight."''
The takeover host for the event celebrating the 25th anniversary of Creator/ValveCorporation in August 2021, as part of the ''[=SiIvaGunner=] All-Star Summer Festival 2021: Legends of the Western Sunset'' super-event.
----
* BaitAndSwitch: After the second day of his takeover, he announced it would be going for one more day...only to upload absolutely nothing on this third day (save for a finale rip at the very end).
* GagCensor: He did not allow [[Memes/ValveCorporation the number 3]] to be used in any rips uploaded during his takeover, and covered it up with either a pink-black grid pattern (the placeholder when a texture is missing in Valve's game engine) or a big red "ERROR" (the placeholder for a missing model), with video titles using the ▚ character (also represents the missing texture). (The only non-joke censor was [[VideoGame/BaldisBasicsInEducationAndLearning Baldi's ruler]] which just had a question mark in place of the number.)
* ReadTheFreakingManual: "Please let me know what you think after you've had a chance to read the channel description."

!!Riamu Yumemi
->''"weh"''

One of the many idols from ''VideoGame/TheIdolmasterCinderellaGirls'', Riamu took over the channel, and more importantly the channel's Website/{{Twitter}}, on September 12th, 2022 (her birthday), to host what she called the ''RIAMU YUMEMI NUMBER ONE SUPER IDOL TAKEOVER''. (Which only had three rips.)
----
* AttentionWhore: Wouldn't be Riamu if she wasn't. Several of her tweets were about her own popularity (or lack thereof).
* ThePiratesWhoDontDoAnything: Downplayed, she basically spent the whole day just using [=SiIvaGunner=]'s Twitter instead of posting rips, even while begging to get more rips.
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: At the end of her takeover, she suddenly delivers a profound speech about existence and her status as a figment - a fictional character.
--> "As long as you remember who I am, I can never truly die. I am always taking over. I am an idea. An idea pervades the human mind and can spread through word of mouth, and can be implanted into more minds. How can you kill an idea? This icon... this display name... they may revert. But these words remain. These words, so different from what you usually hear. Even when they are scrubbed, they will be documented. The annals of history will always contain a trace of Riamu. Only when the Earth itself is destroyed, nay, the heat death of the universe occurs, and there is not a single iota of life left, will I truly disappear. Without me... there will be nothing but blackness. Weh."
* ReadTheFreakingManual: Subverted; the first two of her rips only has "weh" in place of the usual catchphrase, and "wehhwhehwehwrwewewewewrterertg" for the last.

!!David S. Pumkpins
->''"I'm David S. Pumpkins! And I'm gonna scare the HELL out of YOU!"''

A character who first appeared in the ''Series/SaturdayNightLive'' sketch "Haunted Elevator", David S. Pumpkins takes over the channel for October 2022's ''Wood Man's Halloween House Party'' event, as Wood Man himself is busy playing ''Mario Party 7'' with some partygoers.
----
* GoKartingWithBowser: He apparently has no problem with inviting the antagonists of the ''Christmas Comeback Crisis'' to his party (including Angry Joe, [[UnexplainedRecovery who previously died]] in "An Acrimonious Assault"). HandWaved by Wood Man.
--> '''Wood Man''': He helped pull out all the stops for this party [[NoPlotNoProblem without any need for that pesky continuity]].
* ReadTheFreakingManual: "Please read the channel description. Any questions?"
