* MistakenForForeigner: Whenever people point the gang out as Moroccans, they don't point out that he's the only Dutch person, a child even called him "The Moroccan with the glasses".
* RealLifeWritesTheHairstyle: His hairstyle is progressively different in each seasons, in the movie and Season 1 he was completely bald, in Season 2 he had dreads, in Season 3, his hair was just normal-looking.
* RepressionNeverEndsWell: Though this was encouraged by Samira in "Operation Backpack", it ultimately went too far that even Samira realizes he's crossing the line.

This act was eventually discovered by a Moroccan janitor, who steps in.
