An exchange student from Tokyo who got tangled up in the Decepticon-Autobot conflict when Ravage hid himself in her bag.

* AdaptationalPersonalityChange: Rather than adventurous and spunky like her mainverse counterpart, this Miko is more withdrawn and sensible.
* AsianAndNerdy: Hails from Tokyo and is really good with computers. To the point where in Volume 2, she's become an expert at Groundbridge control and can ''teach'' Knock Out how to open portals.
* AudienceSurrogate: Serves as this, as the first human character to be introduced and the one with more realistic reactions to the madness around her.
* BadassBookworm: A computer-nerd, who not only takes surprisingly quick to alien technology, but managed to seriously injure ''Prowl''.
* BadassNormal: Even though she's merely a squishy human girl, her first altercation with an Autobot ended with her outsmarting and seriously injuring him.
* RedOniBlueOni: The more sensible blue to Jack's irresponsible red.
* NiceGirl: She's pretty personable and friendly, if a little introverted.
* SurprisinglyGoodEnglish: In the comic's present she recently transferred from Tokyo, but you wouldn't know it going by her English.
* WomenAreWiser: Between her and Jack, it's pretty obvious who's more aware of their situation.

A rebellious teenager who works at a burger joint in Jasper. He's a bit overenthusiastic, but his heart is in the right place.

* AdaptationalPersonalityChange: He's an energetic thrill-seeker, as opposed to his mainverse counterpart who was more responsible and grounded.
* AesopAmnesia: One would think he'd learn his lesson about running off and trying to "help" the 'Cons on their missions after two near-death experiences. Nope! Even a pretty thorough TheReasonYouSuckSpeech by Airachnid isn't enough to permanently wrench his head out of the clouds.
* BullyHunter: He frequently gets in trouble at school, due to his habit of beating up bullies.
* LethallyStupid: He almost gets himself killed by Autobots ''twice'', yet it ''still'' doesn't seem to register with him that as a squishy human, he should ''not'' try to pick fights with huge [[KillerRobot Killer Robots]].
* TheLoad: Due to his bad habit of involving himself in the Decepticons' missions against their explicit orders, he often ends up biting off more than he can chew. It says something that both Volume 1 and 2 have him get captured by Autobots and in need of bailing out by the 'Cons.
* NotAGame: Pretty much all the Decepticons give him that talk at one point, because he keeps treating the on-going war like a fun, interactive action movie, rather than the life-or-death situation it really is. It ''finally'' seems to get through his skull when Airachnid blows up at him about it in Volume 2. Even then, he still puts himself into the line of fire and watches in awe as Starscream and Cliffjumper duke it out in front of him and Fowler.
* RecklessSidekick: To Airachnid, frequently ignoring her orders to stay put and let her handle dangerous situations. By the climax of Volume 2, she's gotten sick of it and tells him off for his irresponsible behavior. While that ''does'' seem to pull him down to Earth for a while, it doesn't take long for him to fall back into old habits and disregard his safety in favor of gawking at cool Transformer fights.
* RedOniBlueOni: The reckless, fun-loving red to Miko's more sensible, quiet blue.

A shy kid who likes to draw animals.

* AnimalLover: He likes studying and sketching animals. This is also what gets him caught up in the Decepticon-Autobot situation; he was sketching Ravage's holo-form and then followed it, Miko and Jack to the spot they were supposed to meet up in secret.
