[[quoteright:211:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/grump2.png]]
'''Original Canon:''' ''VideoGame/{{Radiant Historia}}'' \\
'''Monster Type:''' Shade \\
Formerly protagonist, [[spoiler:Sacrifice]] and [=SpecInt=] agent; currently soul-eating monstrosity.
----
* DeadpanSnarker: Far more so than the rare offhand deadpan in canon, mostly thanks to the trope immediately below.
* [[DefrostingIceQueen Defrosting Ice... Shade?]]: Slowly becoming less TheStoic, though this was something that began even during his canon.
* DemonicPossession: Both the cause of and [[SymbioticPossession subject to]].
* TheDragon: To Greed. [[strike:Also the resident walking GhostButler]]
* ExtendedDisarming: May or may not require this thanks to all his knives.
* KillTheGod: Is unashamedly interested in getting rid of the peninsula's most active two.
* LetUsNeverSpeakOfThisAgain: ''Several times''.
* MarkOfShame: Stocke was permanently branded by the [[VirginSacrifice Til Death Us Do Part event]]. Semi-subverted in that he doesn't see his reason for getting it (refusing to participate) to be shameful, but he isn't fond of the word itself.
* [[ObliviouslyEvil Obliviously]] UncannyValley: Especially in [[CreepilyLongArms shadow]] [[CreepyLongFingers form]], but he's also engaged in possessing and piloting [[EmptyShell "dead"]] bodies, [[LivingShadow pretending to be someone else's shadow]], and [[ShapeshifterMashup absolute messes of shapeshifting]]. Also just sort of generally being an eerie floating thing with glowing eyes. Doesn't seem to realize it's creepy... [[ObfuscatingStupidity or does he?]]
* SlidingDownTheSlipperySlope: In contrast to the above defrosting, is also becoming inadvertently more and more indifferent to the HorrorHunger...

[[folder:Marian Hawke]]
!Marian Hawke
'''Original Canon:''' ''VideoGame/{{Dragon Age II}}'' \\
'''Monster Type:''' Gargoyle \\
The former Champion of Kirkwall and current owner of Castle Lager. Is unsurprisingly happy about becoming a dragon.
----
* TheAlcoholic: what else do you call someone whose first idea of making friends with somebody is taking them to a bar for drinks?
* BerserkButton: do ''not'' try to control her. [[BewareTheSillyOnes Frank found this out the hard way]] after she launched a fireball at him during the Salt sideplot.
* BiTheWay: romanced Isabela during her game, and has been known to flirt with people like Koshosho, her former boss, [[TalesFromTheBorderlands Nisha]], and others. However, it never goes anywhere.
* BrokenBird: hides it well behind [[StepfordSmiler a cheery veneer]], but she's [[BeneathTheMask let down the mask a few times]]. This is because of [[TraumaCongaLine everything she's had to go through in both her canon and in Ryslig]].
* BrutalHonesty: on occasion, very blunt. She does it all with a cheery smile, too.
* TheCaretaker: of Castle Lager, and all the monsters within. She's even the reason ''why'' there are monsters in Castle Lager.
* CloudCuckoolander: this is [[BunnyEarsLawyer pur]][[DudeNotFunny ple]]![[TheGadfly Hawke]] we're talking about. A common thing for Hawke's player to say? ''Hawke, NO.''
* DeadpanSnarker: and ''revels'' in it.
** StepfordSnarker: see BrokenBird above.
* TheGadfly: actively encourages this reputation, and has been known to break into posts [[ItAmusedMe simply because she finds it funny]]. See [[http://rsdos.dreamwidth.org/111884.html?thread=11637772#cmt11637772 this thread]].
-->'''The Ninja''': (in response to Hawke's blunt encouragement about acting on his feelings for Kinnikuman) ...you're mocking me.
-->'''Hawke''': of course I am! [[ItAmusedMe this is the best source of entertainment I've got in this place.]]
* GenreSavvy: enough to do the occasional LampshadeHanging, especially about [[HeroicSelfDeprecation her own self-sacrificial tendencies]].
-->'''Natsuhi''': (after Hawke states her intention to bury the body of the Bloody Bones' murder victim) You don't plan on looking for him alone, do you? I doubt they told us the general location to be nice.
-->'''Hawke''': [[SarcasmMode why, yes, I plan on going into such an obvious trap all by myself with absolutely no weapons or backup at all to rely on.]]
* HeroicSelfDeprecation: displays shades of this.
* ImAHumanitarian: and not happy about it, though [[PragmaticHero she's pragmatic about it]], resorting to graverobbing and visits to the morgue when it kicks in. She also keeps human body parts in her fridge.
* HurtingHero: and boy, does she hide it.
* ItsAllMyFault: takes this general attitude about the events of her game.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: is unrepentant about her bad jokes and terrible puns, but will throw herself into harm's way for people she barely even knows.
* KleptomaniacHero: all that graverobbing yields a lot of buried heirlooms, and she feels absolutely no guilt about taking them for herself.
* OurDragonsAreDifferent: is, technically, a ''gargoyle'', but refers to herself as a dragon anyway.
* PlayingWithFire: as a gargoyle and as a mage, her signature move is a good old-fashioned [[KillItWithFire fireball]]. She has also been known to breathe fire, though that is a more recent acquisition.
* PragmaticHero: robs graves and keeps a corpse in her fridge to stave off the HorrorHunger. This might be a holdover from her days as a mercenary in the Red Iron.
* {{Protectorate}}: acts as this towards the residents of Castle Lager. She's hoping it works out better than Kirkwall.
* SadClown: fools around and gleefully tweaks people because she feels like it, but is carrying around [[ItsAllMyFault a]] [[FailureHero very]] [[BrokenAce heavy]] [[CosmicPlaything weight]] thanks to canon and in-game events.

dropped her a while ago and felt weird about being one of the only ones with a character bio on here anyway

Shade \\
Formerly protagonist, [[spoiler:Sacrifice]] and [=SpecInt=] agent; currently soul-eating monstrosity.

* BrokenBird: [[VideoGame/{{Transistor}} The events]] she went through before arriving in Ryslig and the transformation she's had to go through since have been very hard on her.
* DrivenToSuicide: As a result of the February 2015/"Till Death Do Us Part" event. One part being pushed over the DespairEventHorizon and one part [[TakeAThirdOption taking a third option]] between eating Sybil's heart or burning to death.
* HeroicBSOD: Spent a few days hiding in the ocean just to try and process everything after completing her transformation and nearly drowning Royce.
* LonelyTogether: She [[TeethClenchedTeamwork doesn't like]] Royce, but for the first few months he was the only person from Cloudbank around (and he's still the only one not being a creepy stalker--hi Sybil), so she tries to look out for him.
* MindControlMusic: To her dismay, her singing (or humming) tends to have this effect on people...
* PowerIncontinence: ... Even when she doesn't want it to. It took her quite a bit of practice to be able to shut the ability ''off'' reliably.
