A vampire knight that takes an instant dislike of Heinrich, he is a member of the Hellfire Club and a key member of the conspiracy to overthrow Dracula. While his true identity is unknown, Mortis survived the Holocaust and was Claudia's partner-in-crime while they were alive.

Back on Earth, he was the infamous occultist Creator/AleisterCrowley. On Résurrection, he became a vampire and Chancellor of the Bank of Blood. Even though he is Dracula's underling, he is secretly conspiring with Lord Cryptos to over throw him.

* LockedOutOfTheLoop: He is unaware that his superior, the Arch-Hierophante, is actually in league with the Hellfire Club, the Dystopians and the Ghoul Fleet to overthrow Dracula, whom he is forced to play adviser to.

* StarcrossedLovers: In life, he was a Nazi in love with a Jewish woman and their relationship turned pretty destructive until she was taken away and executed, while Heinrich escaped any repercussions as he went to fight in the Eastern Front and die in action. In Hell, he became a vampire because of his many crimes while Rebecca, who died the innocent victim of another vampire, became a lemure. The two love birds don't seem to catch a break.

* PragmaticVillainy: Sabbat convinces Atilla to not kill Requiem for his "degeneracy" because they need every able-bodied vampire knight they can get to fight in the Lemuria campaign.

Requiem's love interest from Earth. She was a Jewish woman that fell in love with Heinrich, but ended up in the death camps where she was killed. Because her killer also became a vampire on Résurrection, she rose as lemure and will continue to exist until either she or tormentor are "expired".

* ActionGirl: Despite being helpess against other Résurrection monsters on the account of being a lemure, Rebecca might be the most straightforward example of this trope in the series since all other female characters are of the [[DarkActionGirl dark variant]]. She is not afraid of grabbing a machine gun in a plane piloted by Heinrich to bring some dragons, punching a lecherous ogre that wanted to pimp her out or using a bladed fan to behead several ogres during a BarBrawl. Queen of the Dystopians, a LizardFolk nation in Résurrection that is clearly supposed to be analogous to Great Britain. Her nation has been long time enemies with Draconia, but they have been in recently shaky peace which can only be described as lukewarm at really best.

* CuteMonsterGirl: Really {{downplayed}}. She is not exactly gorgeous like [[CuteGhostGirl Rebecca]] or [[VampiresAreSexGods Claudia]], on the contrary, she is rather ''scary-looking'', but she is ''far'' human-looking next to the rest of her kind, who are humanoid lizards.
* EvilBrit: Well, a hellish version of Britain at any rate. Cripes, her empire's capital is named [[SdrawkcabName Donlon]].

Its ironic when you consider her current appearance when she died in a extermination camp and looked exactly like a Holocaust victim would.

* TokenWholesome: Oddly enough, in a comic where every almost female character is sexualized to some extent, whether its to provide {{Fanservice}} or FanDisservice, Perfidia stands out among them by the fact she never appeared nude in the story and wears merely a [[WomanInWhite white]] PimpedOutDress instead of fetish-leather outfit or bandages.

* AntiHero: To call him TheHero would be giving him too much credit, as there is a good reason why he ended up in Hell. But to call him a VillainProtagonist would be exaggerating, as he really isn't just as bad as other Résurrection residents (quite the opposite, he is considered a ''degenerate'' for having traits like [[BadIsGoodAndGoodIsBad honor and chivalry]]) and he regrets the horrible things he did in life. And he genuinely cares for Rebecca.

* DestructiveRomance: With Rebecca after finding out that she is Jewish. He would [[DomesticAbuse beat her, insult her and degrade her]] until she was arrested and sent to die in a concentration camp.

* StarcrossedLovers: In life, he was a Nazi in love with a Jewish woman and their relationship turned pretty destructive until she was taken away and executed, while Heinrich escaped any repercussions as he went to fight in the Eastern Front and die in action. In Hell, he became a vampire because of his many crimes while Rebecca, who died the innocent victim of another vampire, became a lemure.

* ActionGirl: She certainly has moments like these such as grabbing a machine gun in a plane while Requiem pilots it towards an horde of flying dragons or punching a lecherous ogre who offered to pimp her out.
