Around the same time Rui was given her first official solo case to solve, three years prior to the beginning of the story, Sora followed his mother's footsteps and became a teen idol.

After he and Rui see Kimiko on the Midnight Channel, Sora is completely ready to rescue her. However, after entering the TV World and finding Fear Factor, which was the place Kimiko's Shadow created, it is revealed that Kimiko is indeed cheating on Sora. Upon hearing this, Sora loses control of his Shadow, and after Rui defeats it with her Persona, Sora accepts his Shadow. Sora is of the Magician Arcana, with his Personas specializing in fire attacks. His original Persona is Heka, the Egyptian deification of magic, which eventually transforms into Aten, a form of Ra. He is the Magician Social Link for Rui and the Sun Social Link for Taiga.

He is also the Chariot Social Link.

The second female and sixth Shirogane detective, Rui is the sixteen year old daughter of Kanji Tatsumi and Naoto Shirogane. Rui, at her introduction as a teenager, is rather composed and serious. However, she does have bursts of anger, every now and then. After bumping into her ChildhoodFriend, Sora Narukami, she agrees to investigate his girlfriend, a famous actress named Kimiko Hoshino. However, events in Inaba bring her back to her humble hometown.

It is revealed that the Midnight Channel has returned. Yu and Naoto bring her to see Tohru Adachi, the criminal that orchestrated the first serial case of murders, but only to come up with nothing. That night, Kimiko is revealed to have been thrown into the TV, sending Sora into a panic. Their parents reluctantly allow them to go into the TV, but only accompanied by Teddie. In there, they discover the Fear Factor, the dungeon created by Kimiko's heart. In there, it's revealed that [[spoiler: Kimiko is cheating on Sora, and the only reason they were together because the relationship brought her excitement. This revelation causes Sora to lose control of his Shadow, forcing Rui to awaken to Hatshepsut and defend him.]] After Sora accepts his Shadow, they make a pact to find what's going on and solve the mystery revolving around the revived Midnight Channel.

When it is revealed that Death is after those in the Arisato family, Rui is dragged into the mess, as her mother is the younger sister of Minato and Minako. She shares the field leader role with Taiga from that point onward.

Rui is the Fool and she possesses the Wild Card, much like her mother's elder twin siblings, Minato and Minako Arisato. Her initial Persona is Hatshepsut, named after the famous female pharaoh of Egypt. Much later in the story, Hatshepsut gives rise to Ma'at, the Egyptian goddess of justice and balance. She is the Justice Social Link for Taiga.

The adopted daughter of Teddie and Yukiko and the heir apparent to the Amagi Inn, Akemi is bright and bubbly, a PerkyGoth. She is Rui's best female friend. Akemi, however, is seen to be weird by most of her peers, and because of this, is a target of a lot of bullying. When she becomes trapped inside the TV World, she creates the Prank Hotel, the pranks geared towards everyone who had bullied her. After she accepts her Shadow, it transforms into Hathor of the Priestess Arcana, the Egyptian goddess of sky, love, beauty, joy, motherhood, foreign lands, mining, music and fertility. It later transforms into the Persona Sekhmet. She is also the Priestess Social Link.

A famous actress in her own right, making her a colleague of Kimiko Hoshino, and the daughter of Minato and Yukari, making her cousin to Rui as Minato is Naoto's elder brother. She was born years after her father's death, and a result of in vitro fertilization.

She is also a Wild Card, having awakened prior to the events of Zenith, when she was thirteen years old. [[spoiler: While staying at a friend's house for a sleepover, she and her friends were attacked by a Shadow. Taiga was forced to watch as her friends were slaughtered, until she force summoned her Persona for the first time and killed it. However, due to not using an Evoker, her psyche was nearly shattered, and she fell into a coma. At one point, she was clinically dead but came back to life by some miracle. She developed amnesia because of this and has no recollection of her past.]]

She is introduced while Akemi is still trapped in the Prank Hotel, as a member of the special suppression unit and an Auxiliary member of the Shadow Operatives. While her native Arcana is the Fool as she's a Wild Card, her Social Link Arcana is Moon. Her initial Persona is Persephone, named after the Greek Underworld's queen.

His Persona is Janus of the Fortune Arcana, the Greek god of beginnings, transitions, gates, doors, and endings. [[spoiler: He eventually leaves Inaba to get his heart transplant. He also gains the ability to fight when his Persona transforms, and he returns as a fighting member of the team.]]

She was born years after her father's death, and a result of in vitro fertilization. She is also a Wild Card, having awakened prior to the events of Zenith, when she was thirteen years old. She is introduced while Akemi is still trapped in the Prank Hotel, as a member of the special suppression unit and an Auxiliary member of the Shadow Operatives. While her native Arcana is the Fool as she's a Wild Card, her Social Link Arcana is Moon. Her Persona in Zenith is Persephone, named after the Greek Underworld's queen.

* ChivalrousPervert: He is not as perverted than say, Iruka or Ryou, but he still wants to sleep with Rui after they're together. Granted, it doesn't happen until they are together for a few months.

The youngest child of Junpei and Chidori and a member of the Shadow Operatives, a first year. He arrives with Taiga, having been sent to aid the rest of the team in their cause. Initially, he's rather flirtatious towards the females of the team, but it's eventually revealed that he's actually gay. He is of the Magician Arcana, and that is the Arcana for his Social Link with Taiga, but for Rui he's Sun. His Persona is Apollo, the Greek god of music, poetry, art, oracles, archery, plague, medicine, sun, light, and knowledge. It later gives way to Horus, the Egyptian god of the sun and kingship.

Shinjiro's son, a first year. He is of the Emperor Arcana.

The youngest child of Akihiko and Minako, the female protagonist of Persona 3. She is Rui's younger cousin by a year, as Naoto is Minako's younger sister. Hotblooded and passionate, Hotaru has a strong drive to prove herself. She has a bit of an inferiority complex, since both of her older siblings have fighting Personas while her Persona can only scan. However, she has awakened to her Persona already, at her introduction.

The youngest child of Junpei and Chidori and a member of the Shadow Operatives, fifteen years old at his introduction. After Kane joins the team, Minako brings both Hotaru and Ryou to join the cause. Initially, he's rather flirtatious towards the females of the team, but it's eventually revealed that he's actually gay.

It is revealed that the Midnight Channel has returned. Yu and Naoto bring her to see Tohru Adachi, the criminal that orchestrated the first serial case of murders, but only to come up with nothing. That night, Kimiko is revealed to have been thrown into the TV, sending Sora into a panic. Their parents reluctantly allow them to go into the TV, but only accompanied by Teddie. In there, they discover the Fear Factor, the dungeon created by Kimiko's heart. In there, it's revealed that [[spoiler: Kimiko is cheating on Sora, and the only reason they were together because the relationship brought her excitement. This revelation causes Sora to lose control of his Shadow, forcing Rui to awaken to Hatsheput and defend him.]] After Sora accepts his Shadow, they make a pact to find what's going on and solve the mystery revolving around the revived Midnight Channel.

Rui is the Fool and she possesses the Wild Card, much like her mother's elder twin siblings, Minato and Minako Arisato. Her initial Persona is Hatsheput, named after the famous female pharaoh of Egypt. Much later in the story, Hatsheput gives rise to Ma'at, the Egyptian goddess of justice and balance.

After he and Rui see Kimiko on the Midnight Channel, Sora is completely ready to rescue her. However, after entering the TV World and finding Fear Factor, which was the place Kimiko's Shadow created, it is revealed that Kimiko is indeed cheating on Sora. Upon hearing this, Sora loses control of his Shadow, and after Rui defeats it with her Persona, Sora accepts his Shadow. Sora is of the Magician Arcana, with his Personas specializing in fire attacks. His original Persona is Heka, the Egyptian deification of magic, which eventually transforms into Aten, a form of Ra.

Yosuke and Chie's youngest child and son, one of Rui's childhood friends. He is of the Chariot Arcana. His Shadow, which appears after he runs off on his own, is about his resentment due to being seen as a joke and him feeling like he can't protect anyone. He is also jealous of Sora's success and popularity. He awakens in Akemi's dungeon. After accepting his Shadow, it transforms into Monthu, one of the Egyptian gods of war.

The adopted daughter of Teddie and Yukiko and the heir apparent to the Amagi Inn, Akemi is bright and bubbly, a PerkyGoth. She is Rui's best female friend. Akemi, however, is seen to be weird by most of her peers and because of this, is a target of a lot of bullying. When she becomes trapped inside the TV World, she creates the Prank Hotel, the pranks geared towards everyone who had bullied her. After she accepts her Shadow, it transforms into Neith of the Priestess Arcana, the Egyptian goddess of hunting. It later transforms into the Persona Nephthys. She is also the Priestess SL.

A member of the Shadow Operatives and the only son of Fuuka Yamagishi and [[OriginalCharacter Ren Saito]]. He is introduced along with Taiga Takeba, during April when Akemi is still trapped in her dungeon, the Prank Hotel. Toshi is reserved and can't exert himself well, since he possesses a weak heart. Because of his weak heart, Toshi is slowly dying due to the lack of a suitable heart implant. His Social Link with Rui is all about his overcoming of his apparently hopeless case. His Persona is Janus of the Fortune Arcana. [[spoiler: He eventually leaves Inaba to get his heart implant. He also gains the ability to fight when his Persona transforms.]]

Michiko, at her introduction, is known as the daughter and heir of Mitsuru Kirijo, the leader of the Kirijo Group and the Shadow Operatives. Unlike the majority of the second generation who hail from Iwatodai, she is not an experienced Persona-user. She is the first victim of the Reminisce Network, and her dungeon is the Terror Tower, which is based off of Tartarus. As the Kirijo Group is being endangered by being run out of business, Michiko feels pressured by this. After facing her Shadow, she gains her Persona, Rhea, named after the Titaness mother of the six original Greek gods. Later on, Rhea evolves to Iset, an alternate name for Isis, the Egyptian queen of heavens and magic. Michiko is of the Empress Arcana, just like her mother.
