* AchillesHeel: Prior to Set 3, several Guardian Plants were vulnerable to Weed Spray due to having low attack. This is resolved by the Three-Nut, which makes all Plants played while it's on the field have 3 attack -- this even includes Wall-Nuts and other fully defensive plants.

* KillStreak: Are one of two Zombie classes that have the Frenzy trait, which allows a Zombie to do a Bonus Attack if it kills a Plant. The other class is Beastly.
* MookBouncer: The ability to force Plants to change lanes is mainly exclusive to this class.
* StoneWall: These tend to have high HP cards and also have the Armored trait exclusive to them. However, they tend to lack in attack power.

* IncreasinglyLethalEnemy: He gives all Sports Tribe Teammates +1/+1 at the start of each turn, and that includes himself as well, thus making all Sports teammates into this trope if not removed.
* StatusBuff: At the start of each turn, he gives all Sports Tribe Teammates +1/+1.

They rely on [[OneHitKill Deadly]], attacking from the water lane, freezing Plant Teammates, [[MookBouncer bouncing teammates]], [[AlwaysAccurateAttack Strike]][[OneHitPolykill through]] attacks, [[HeroKiller dealing extra damage to the Plant Hero]], and movement around the board to get a better chance at undermining the Plant Hero's efforts.
* EvilCounterpart: To Smarty, both being tactical-oriented classes.
* HeroKiller: The Anti-Hero trait is exclusive to this class, allowing them to deal extra damage to the Plant Hero if there are no plants in the way.
* AnIcePerson: The Freeze trait is exclusive to this class for Zombies, allowing them to freeze Plant Teammates to prevent them from attacking for a turn. Several Teammates also rely on freezing the Plants or benefit from it.
* MookBouncer: The Bounce trait is mainly exclusive to this class for Zombies, which allows them to send a Plant Teammate back into the opponent's hand.
* OneHitKill: The Deadly trait is exclusive to this class, and it functions ''exactly the same'' as Deathtouch from ''TabletopGame/MagicTheGathering'' -- when a unit with deadly deals any amount of damage to any Teammate, that Teammate is dead.

* TheGoomba: The weakest Sneaky-class PlayerMooks with no abilities whatsoever.
* StartingUnits: You get these as soon as you unlock the Zombie Campaign since Super Brainz is a Sneaky Hero.
