Her voiceover is appropriately altered to add more threatening "predator" dialogue, including changing her ultimate callout to "Stalk your prey!" to allies and "Beware the beast of prey!" to hostiles.

A few aspects of this are PlayedForLaughs in sprays: "Hamster Ball" has ''Hammond himself'' trying to perform one VideoGame/SonicTheHedgehog-style, and "Spinning" implies his mech doesn't have [[RequiredSecondaryPowers a mechanism in place to prevent dizziness]].

* ManOfKryptonite: Efi made her for general heroism, but more specifically to counter Doomfist. ''Hand Cannon''? She has ''Protective Barrier'' that will stop the shots. ''Seismic Slam'' and ''Rocket Punch''? ''Fortify'' absorbs it. ''Rising Uppercut''? ''Halt!'' will bring him right back down. Even their primary modes of fighting work against each other, as Doomfist specializes in [[CloseRangeCombatant close range]] and Orisa's ''Fusion Driver'' can lay down a heavy long-distance stream of fire to take him out before he can even get in close.

* SkillGateCharacter: Mauga is among the best tanks in terms of offensive potential; he can take a lot of punishment, attack from long range and close range, has an unstoppable charge with knockback and knockdown, the ability to apply Burn, and has access to lifesteal with his defensive aura in ''Cardiac Overdrive''; all of this enables him to easily rip newer/careless players to shreds. To compensate, he's a HUGE target, ''Cardiac Overdrive'' is on a somewhat long cooldown, and his only barrier appears in his ultimate, which basically leaves him with a limited amount of defense potential for him and his team. He can still be quite threatening at higher level play with good tactics and use of cover, though a very well-coordinated offense will easily take him out.

* UncertainDoom: His last scene in "What You Left Behind" involved him starting a firefight against Baptiste, attempting to bring him back to Talon, resulting in a massive explosion that totals the area. Baptiste survives thanks to his ImmortalityField and gets away, but Mauga is nowhere to be found. Baptiste suspects he survived, but there isn't any proof one way or the other until Mauga debuts as a playable Hero.

* EvilFormerFriend: Serves as one to Zenyatta, to a degree that's frequently compared by fans and developers alike to the dynamic between [[Franchise/XMen Professor X and Magneto]]. Both of them were as close as brothers back in the Shambali, but while Zenyatta firmly believes that human and omnic can and should coexist peacefully, Ramattra became far too untrusting of humanity and decided that war was necessary for omnickind to survive. Many of their pre-game interactions have them acknowledge [[NotSoDifferentRemark that they do still fundamentally share the same beliefs in cherishing omnic life]] (tellingly, Zenyatta never chastises Ramattra for the direction he took ideologically), but their schism has grown so massive that neither will be willingly working alongside the other in the near future ([[GameplayAndStorySegregation at least outside of PvP gameplay]]).
