However, he seems to be aware of this, as he receives a beating pretty much everytime we see him in action. Later during Super Fight arc, we get a bit of his past and his doubts about being a worthy hero, with how much monsters are appearing lately and him meeting stronger individuals than him. It turns out that he simply has standards about heroes and he does care about protecting civillians, which is a far cry from Suiryu hedonistic attitude.
