Billy's first, ill-fated Alpha assistant. He helps Billy try to revive Zordon, [[spoiler:only to end up possessed by the spirit of Rita Repulsa and transformed into her new body.]]

* BigNo: His final words are a panicked, increasingly warped "No... No... NO...!"

* HeroicSacrifice: The last thing he does is to knock Billy away before Rita's evil energy can affect him, too.
* InnocentBystander: Rita's spirit takes over Alpha 8 simply because he's the closest thing resembling a body that was nearest to the energy tube Billy was trying to revive Zordon in.
* KilledOffForReal: Exorcising Rita's spirit from Alpha 8 never comes up as an option, suggesting that the droid's consciousness has been permanently erased by the possession. When Zack later destroys Robo-Rita, Alpha 8's physical form is destroyed as well.

* EvilIsPetty: Hasn't changed a bit. Rita could've started with any Rangers to fuel her machine, but she has to go after the original gang when they're visiting Trini's grave.

Not only does she kill Trini, her plan is to go back in time and help her past self kill the Rangers before they were ever chosen. [[spoiler:Her endgame is to go back in time and team up with her past self, then kill the rangers in their sleep before they can be recruited.]] In the finale[[spoiler:, she tries to finish an ''unmorphed'' Billy off with the same OneHitKill spell she vaporized Trini with.]]

* SuperiorSuccessor: The original Minotaur was an early-season monster (so rooki rangers were able to beat him), this robotic version was able to fight against Rangers who have decades of experience.

* GlassCannon: Despite being robotic, Robo-Rita is surprisingly lacking in durability [[spoiler:(she's ultimately destroyed by a normal Power Weapon)]]. However, her sorcery is so potent now that she can conjure spells that can outright ''[[OneHitKill disintegrate]]'' a Power Ranger.

* SquishyWizard: Even with a robot body, Rita is not much more durable than her human self. Her magic powers, however, remain just as strong, if not even more lethal than they had ever been.

* NoNonsenseNemesis: Robo-Rita is Rita's evil half with none of her good. As such, she's ''far'' more ruthless and willing to kill than the original. Not only does she kill Trini, her plan is to go back in time and help her past self kill the Rangers before they were ever chosen.
