* IndyPloy: On realising they should have picked up the gold instead of the horn, the team attempted a rather clever one by trying to use the horn as a bribe instead, claiming it was a magical horn that could grant wishes. Unfortunately for them, it was a goblin horn and the character they were trying it on was Skarkill, an expert goblin trainer, meaning that he immediately recognized the trick. Skarkill told Richard to blow the horn himself, and when he did, some goblins came to capture him. It wasn't unknown for the producers to reward ingenuity, so had they tried it on a different character, it might have worked.

* HumiliationConga: How the end of their quest played out. They inadvertently turned Chris into a goblin, causing him to nearly get fatally clonked on the head by Brother Mace. Then they were unable to summon Folly due to lacking his folderol (well, they had been rushed by a haunting earlier on), meaning they didn't get the password they needed to pass the Blocker. Adding insult to injury, they then tried using the causeway combination as the password, only for Chris to call ''that'' out wrong as well.

* BalefulPolymorph: Averted; Chris actually asked the advisors ''not'' to dispel the CHANGE spell that had turned him into a goblin, as he thought it could be useful later on. More likely Chris just didn't want to spend the time changing out of the goblin costume back into his normal clothes, but in the end it didn't matter, as the spell was cast-locked and couldn't be dispelled in the traditional manner.

* TheSilentBob: Deborah didn't say a single word after the quest proper began, and Richard only spoke a couple of times. This was most likely a contributing factor to their death.

* NotTheFallThatKillsYou: Yet another team to die on the causeway. In this case it was because they spent too long getting Alex lined up ''just'' right after stepping between the next correct part of the causeway and the one they were standing on, which caused the floor to collapse underneath him.

* SummonMagic: Called on Pixel by spellcasting her name. They sent her away at her demand by dispelling her name as well.
* TooDumbToLive: Sometimes regarded as the worst team of Series 5, despite getting to Level 3 and some BornLucky moments. Let's see: an incorrect choice of clue object in Level 1, allowing a haunting to attack them in Level 2, taking too long to give Elita a gem in Level 3 and finally walking forward straight into a blade in the Corridor of Blades! They could give Team 6 of Series 2 a run for their money!

* MedalOfDishonor: They were the least successful team from Series 4--8 -- which were generally a lot more forgiving than Series 1--3 -- having only made it halfway through Level 1 when their quest ended. Only two other teams post-Series 3 failed to make it to Level 2, and even then, they at least made it to the end of Level 1 before committing some foul-up which stopped them from progressing any further.
