!Zenkaigers
[[folder:General Tropes]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/zenkaigers.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:350:''The five warriors, assembled: Kikai Sentai, Zenkaiger!'']]
* ContrastingSequelMainCharacter:
** Unlike the [[Series/MashinSentaiKiramager Kiramagers]] who are a traditional Sentai team (aside from the female [=KiramaiGreen=]), the Zenkaigers break Sentai tradition with the team consisting of a TokenHuman leader and the rest of the core rangers being mechanical lifeforms who have the ability to transform into mecha. While the Kiramagers had [=KiramaiRed=] as the leader, the Zenkaigers have the white Zenkaizer as the face of the team.
** Just like the [[Series/DoubutsuSentaiZyuohger Zyuohgers]], the previous anniversary team, the Zenkaigers also consist of a TokenHuman leader with rest of the core Rangers being non-human. While the core Zyuhogers are Zyumen who have access to human forms, the core Zenkaigers are robots who are able to transform into Zords.
** Unlike the [[Series/KaizokuSentaiGokaiger Gokaigers]], the Zenkaigers do not transform into past Rangers to use their powers. Instead, using the Sentai Gears gives them something, like a weapon or an attack, related to what the team in question does, almost akin to a majority of the Greater Powers. While the Gokaigers started off as {{antihero}}es who fought for their personal motives, the Zenkaigers - like many Sentai teams - are heroic Rangers who fight for the greater good.
* CoolGun: The Geartlinger is not only their TransformationTrinket, it also allows them to harness the powers of past Super Sentai.
* FiveManBand: Five people (well, more like one human and four robots) come together to form a Sentai to fight off the Tojitendo.
* HumanityEnsues: During the ''Introducing Zenkai Red!'' spin-off, the Kikanoid Zenkaigers suddenly become human when Zenkai Red comes around. [[spoiler:It's revealed during the second part that it was actually Normal Warumono Wald's doing, turning them into human to make them become a more "normal" Sentai.]] Luckily they get rendered back to their normal robotic forms by the end of the spinoff.
* NumerologicalMotif{{s}}: They each have a number on their helmets based on the Sentai team they're on, (ex: Zyuran's is 16).
* PowerCopying: The Sentai Gears, created by Isao and Mitsuko based off the data of Super Sentai teams they discovered across the different parallel worlds, allow the Zenkaigers to copy a previous Sentai team's abilities or reproduce their weapons for use.
* RagtagBunchOfMisfits: The team consists of a downplayed IdiotHero who wants to be "Number One" at anything, a party-loving GrumpyOldMan who thinks he's a CoolOldGuy, an AnimalLover who's an extreme BoomerangBigot, a fortune-telling geek who's a ShrinkingViolet with a brazen side, and a ConstantlyCurious nerd who was the Tojitendo's janitor. Not to mention, four of them are robots from a world inhabited solely by robots while their leader is a TokenHuman. And that's not even getting to the group of [[AntiHero anti-heroic]] "world traveling pirates" that join them later on.

[[folder:Kaito Goshikida/Zenkaizer]]
!!!'''Portrayed by:''' Kiita Komagine (live), Masashi Takada (suit)\\
'''Young Kaito Portrayed by:''' Yumeki Uenoyama
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kaito_goshikida.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:250:''The [[Series/HimitsuSentaiGoranger Secret]] Power! Zenkaizer!'']]
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/zenkai_white.png]]
[[caption-width-right:250:''Ba-bang, Ba-bang, Ba-bang, Ba-bang, Babababang! Zenkaizer!'']]

The kindhearted leader of the Zenkaigers who aims to be "Number One" at everything. His parents invented the Zenkaiger tech before they went missing. He currently lives with his grandmother Yatsude and toy bird Secchan.
----
* AllYourPowersCombined: The ColorMotif used to represent him in various areas and effects is a ''rainbow'', suggesting that he actually represents ''[[RainbowMotif All Colors]]''.
* {{Catchphrase}}:
** "Zenryoku Zenkai!"[[note]]Translated as "full force, full-throttle", which just so happens to be the show's catchphrase as well.[[/note]]
** He also utters "Sekai Zenkai, All Okay!"[[note]]"It's a full-power world! All okay!"[[/note]] after the Kudaitest of the Week is destroyed.
* ContrastingSequelProtagonist:
** Like [[Series/MashinSentaiKiramager Juru]], both him and Kaito are both energetic {{Nice Guy}}s to a fault and {{The Leader}} of their respective teams. While Juru was the last one of his team to fully join, Kaito is the founder of his team. Juru was a SociallyAwkwardHero who regularly self-depreciates his abilities before truly growing as a leader while Kaito is fully confident in himself from the very start, to the point of being reckless.
** Both [[Series/DoubutsuSentaiZyuohger Yamato]] and Kaito are the {{Token Human}}s among the other non-human Rangers (Zyumen and Kikanoids, respectively), as well as their teams' leaders. Unlike Yamato, who was level-headed and calm, Kaito is reckless and energetic.
** Both [[Series/KaizokuSentaiGokaiger Captain Marvelous]] and Kaito inherited their [[TransformationTrinket Transformation Trinkets]], TeamPet, and Sentai arsenal from people close to them that are gone from their lives in present day ([=AkaRed=] for Marvelous and his parents for Kaito). However, Marvelous was already a seasoned Gokaiger with his own fully assembled crew before the series even began and came to Earth looking for the Greatest Treasure In The Universe, while Kaito is just a regular human and only became Zenkaizer at the beginning of his story while having to gather members for his team to stop the invasion on his world. Also, while both have an reckless and hot-blooded streak to their actions, Marvelous was standoffish and obstinate JerkWithAHeartOfGold, while Kaito is an incredibly friendly and openhearted {{Keet}}.
** But most importantly of all, Kaito is this to about 95 percent of the protagonists in ''all of the previous incarnations of Super Sentai'' because while most of the previous protagonists are all ''Red Rangers'', Zenkaizer is classified as a '''White Ranger''' for while his costume does have a big red stripe down the middle, and while the inside of his mantle is red, it's still primarily white. To be fair though, Zenkaizer technically isn't the first white ranger to actually be a team leader. This also makes Kaito a {{Foil}} to those specific predecessors:
*** Both [[Series/NinjaSentaiKakuranger Tsuruhime]] and Kaito have disappeared parents (her father for the former and his mom and dad for the latter) that they are looking for throughout the series and both have had their teammates join them to make a Sentai team. However, whereas the levelheaded Tsuruhime, who comes from a BlueBlood family, constantly had to reign in her teammmates' antics to get them all to focus on their mission more seriously, the excitable Kaito, who comes from an more average background and lives with his grandmother, is constantly indulging in his friends' various quirks and behaviors because it makes him glad to see him enjoy his world so much.
*** [[Series/JAKQDengekitai Sōkichi Banba]] was TheDandy who joined and took over leadership of JAKQ in the middle of his series, while Kaito, who is a {{Keet}} through and through, is the leader of the Zenkaigers from the very first episode. Sokichi was very much TheStrategist of his team, using plans to foil the schemes of his enemies, while Kaito is a true to form IdiotHero who more or less is making it up as he goes along with help from his team.
* {{Homage}}: His form is based on [[Series/HimitsuSentaiGoranger Varidorin]] CoolPlane, albeit an AnthropomorphicPersonification made to resemble a Goranger.
* IdiotHero: Downplayed. While he's not too bright at times (as seen with the first episode where he tried to be the first to ''bungee-jump off the Skytree'', and him not knowing what an ice age is in Episode 3), he's enthusiastic, but still somewhat mindful.
* TheLeader: Of the Zenkaigers, and also the third white ranger with this distinction since [[Series/JAKQDengekitai Sokichi Banba/Big One]] and [[Series/NinjaSentaiKakuranger Tsuruhime/Ninja White]].
* NiceGuy: He's incredibly friendly and genuine, wanting to get along with anybody and everybody around him, no matter if they're a mechanical lifeform or fellow human.
* OddNameOut: Within the team.
** Being the TokenHuman, he is the only one of the team who has a fairly normal Japanese name, as the rest of his teammates are all Kikanoids.
** This, and the fact that he's TheLeader, also results in his hero name being unique and not following the Zenkai-(civilian name) format the rest of his teammates use.
* PrimaryColorChampion: Besides his colors as Zenkaizer, Kaito's civilian clothes are mainly white, red, blue and yellow.
* RaisedByGrandparents: Yatsude looks after him due to the disappearance of his parents.
* SpellMyNameWithAnS: There was some initial debate over whether his name was spelt with an 's' or 'z' (Zenkaiser/Zenkaizer). The TV-Asahi website confirms it as the latter.
* ToBeAMaster: His personal motto is to "be the first", whether it being at the top of whatever he sets his mind to or even being ''the first to do something no other has done before'', though the latter oftentimes are improbable goals [[TooDumbToLive for good reason]] (such as trying to be the first to bungee jump off the Tokyo Skytree, with his own unlicensed equipment to boot).
* TokenHuman: He's the sole human of the main five.

The oldest of the Kikainoids who thinks he's a CoolOldGuy, but is actually more of a GrumpyOldMan. Despite this, he's got a good heart and heroic sense of justice, as well as being pretty easy to get along with. He also really likes parties.
----
* BewareMyStingerTail: As [=JuranTyranno=], he can finish his opponent off by stabbing them with his tail. Due to the fact that his tail in that form is made of his humanoid form's sword, it doubles as a GroundPound flavored SwordPlant.
* CharacterTics: Whenever the Geartlinger's standby music starts playing, at least OncePerEpisode he'll dance along to it.
* CoolOldGuy: Subverted. He ''likes'' to think of himself as this way, but he ends up being less of a CoolOldGuy and more of a GrumpyOldMan. He's still relatively chill enough to get along with humans however... until the Tojitendo arrived.
* CoolUncle: He's revealed to be this to Magine, his neighbor in Kikaitopia.
* CrackOhMyBack: He is prone to this, due to his old age.
* CuteLittleFangs: His Kikainoid form has a pair of small fangs protruding from his mouth.
* EverythingsBetterWithDinosaurs: His animal motif, being able to turn into [=ZyuranTyranno=].
* HeroicBystander: He defended a young boy from one of Barashitara's invading forces despite being feared by humans earlier due to being a Kikainoid. This act of kindness is why Kaito recruited him to be a Zenkaiger.
* {{Homage}}: His ranger form is based on [[Series/KyoryuSentaiZyuranger Daizyuzin]]. His base form's armor evokes Yamato Tribe Prince Geki's own red outfit.
* HopelessWithTech: {{Ironic}}ally, despite being a robotic being. Not only is he the first who required a quick tutorial for how to use the Geartlinger, he's heavily hinted at being this given that he always refers to Kaito's smartphone as a "[[InsistentTerminology thing]]". Even ''Gaon'' knows what a smartphone is.
-->'''Juran:''' Hey Kaito, your ''thing'''s ringing.
* KnightlySwordAndShield: As Zenkai Juran, his main weapons are Juran Sword and Juran Shield, inspired by the same set of weapons wielded by Daizyuzin.
* TheLancer: He's the first person to join the Zenkaigers, the acting second-in-command and the one who gives Kaito a pep talk whenever he's feeling unsure of himself.
* NiceGuy: Stubborn tendencies aside, it's clear as day that he's an kind person who's just trying to do his best in a new world. He's able to get along with people incredibly well and is even to give a pep-talk or two if someone needs it.
* RedIsHeroic: While he's not the main character or leader of the Zenkaigers, he's certainly on the side of the good guys and is red-colored.
* SpellMyNameWithAnS: While he's inspired by ''Series/KyoryuSentaiZyuranger'', the CombiningMecha sequence and official merchandise romanizes his name as "Juran" instead of "Zyuran".
* VitriolicBestBuds: With Gaon. The latter's bigotry against Kikainoids, combined with the former's GrumpyOldMan tendencies, lead them to argue and fight during most their screentime together. However, it's clear that they have enough respect and trust towards one another to willingly battle their enemies side-by-side, with little to no squabbling.
* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: Episode 5 hints that he has a fear of heights.

An AnimalLover Kikainoid who is the TeamChef. He also considers humans as animals and doesn't get along with the Kikainoids, as such he acts like a {{Jerkass}} to other mechanical lifeforms. Because of his love for animals, he joins the fight against the Kikanoids to protect them.
----
* AnimalLover: He absolutely ''loves'' animals of all sort, ranging from cats to humans. In contrast, he absolutely loathes robots and Kikanoids, as Juran and Kaito find out. That being said, {{ironic}}ally due to his appearance [[AnimalsHateHim animals tend to avoid and run away from him]].
* BerserkButton: Hurting animals. It's what eventually pushed him into joining the Zenkaigers against the Tojitendo, despite his irks over having other Kikainoids on the team.
* TheBigGuy: Beast-themed and specializes in close-range combat.
* BoomerangBigot: He is extremely disdainful towards his own kind, due to them -- according to him -- not being as [[CutenessProximity cute and cuddly as the soft Earth-based creatures]]. He would do whatever it takes to ignore or avoid having to interact with other Kikainoids and robots as much as possible, even tossing Secchan aside despite the latter being modeled after a bird. This later gets turned into a bad case of positive discrimination in Episode 7, where he decides to protect new villain Stacey and his fake Sentai Rangers simply because they look like humans, even injuring his fellow Kikainoid Rangers in the process. Juran chews him out for it.
* ContrastingSequelProtagonist:
** Like [[Series/MashinSentaiKiramager Tametomo]], Gaon is a JerkWithAHeartOfGold. ''Unlike'' Tametomo, who specializes in being TheGunslinger and TheStrategist of his team, Gaon is a wild close-range combatant. Also, while Tametomo took a time to really get close to TheLeader - Juru - of his team, Gaon becomes quickly becomes friends with Kaito while being cold and jerkish to the other members of his team.
** Both [[Series/DoubutsuSentaiZyuohger Leo]] and Gaon are Yellow Rangers modeled after lions. While Gaon is bigoted towards other Kikanoids, Leo holds no such prejudice towards his fellow Zyumen.
** [[Series/KaizokuSentaiGokaiger Luka Millfy]], a CoolBigSis who wasn't from Earth, was obessed with money to the point of having a MoneyFetish. Gaon is BoomerangBigot who also isn't from Earth but was forcibly migrated there, is obsessed with cute and cuddly things to the point of having a CutenessProximity.
* CutenessProximity: As soon as he's near some type of animal, he will instantly start fawning over them.
* EarlyBirdCameo: He can be seen in the scene where the Kikainoids are transported to Earth, a full episode before he properly debuts.
* {{Homage}}: His ranger form is based on [[Series/HyakujuuSentaiGaoranger GaoKing]]. His animal motif jacket as a Kikainoid is also reminiscent of the Gaorangers' uniforms, while his dreadlock-like cables are reminiscent of [[Series/DoubutsuSentaiZyuohger Leo's]] hairstyle.
* JerkassToOne: Or in this case, to a race over the other. He acts like a complete bigot towards his own kind, while being the complete opposite to Earth creatures.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: He acts like an utter jerk to his fellow Kikanoids (and any robots by extension), but he does a complete 180 when he's around humans and animals.
* KingOfBeasts: His animal motif, being able to turn into [=GaonLion=].
* LargeHam: Whenever he gets wrapped up in something, he will quickly turn on the ham factor to really emphasize it, such as when he's around animals or cooking.
* LightningBruiser: His chaotic fighting style focuses on hitting hard and fast with some impressively agility, reminding one of [[Series/UchuSentaiKyuranger Garu/Ookami Blue]].
* TeamChef: He's incredibly skilled at cooking, making sure that the Goshikidas' tastes are fulfilled first before anybody else's.
* TeethClenchedTeamwork: He's the only one who has this towards the other Kikainoids in the team, much to his chagrin.
* VitriolicBestBuds: With Juran. The latter's GrumpyOldMan tendencies, combined with the former's prejudice against Kikainoids, lead them to argue and fight during most their screentime together. However, it's clear that they have enough respect and trust towards one another to willingly battle their enemies side-by-side, with little to no squabbling.
* WolverineClaws: His sole main weapon is the Gaon Claw that he holds on his right arm.

The only girl (well, female mechanical lifeform) of the team. She claims herself to be introverted but in reality, she's a brazen fantasy {{Otaku}} who doesn't like cleaning at all. She's particularly fond of fortune-telling.
----
* ActionGirl: She may be a mechanical lifeform, but she is still a female Sentai ranger who fights the BigBad and saves lives so she definitely fits the bill.
* BerserkButton: Getting mocked. It triggers a brash side of hers she usually tries to keep hidden behind her ShrinkingViolet persona. Gaon found out the hard way when mocking her fortune-telling, and Zenkai Red gets it from mocking the Kikainoids for [[FantasticRacism taking the humans' job of protecting their own kind]].
-->'''Magine:''' '''[[BigWhat WHAAAAAAT]]!?''' How dare you mock someone for [[{{Hypocrite}} something you don't even understand anything about]]!!
* TheChick: The compassionate lone female of the team.
* ContrastingSequelMainCharacter:
** Unlike her predecessor [[Series/MashinSentaiKiramager Sayo]] who was a cool-headed doctor and acted as a CoolBigSis towards her team, Magine is a ShrinkingViolet fortune-teller and a brazen fantasy {{Otaku}}. They both however have a hidden side that shows whenever a certain TriggerPhrase is spoken.
** [[Series/KaizokuSentaiGokaiger Ahim de Famille]] was a prim and polite princess [[SilkHidingSteel who had a lot of steel and backbone in her words and actions]], while Magine is an closet but proud {{Otaku}} who ''thinks'' she's an introvert, but can be quite fierce and bold when pushed.
* FortuneTeller: Often uses her CrystalBall to conjure up images that will lead to her target.
* {{Homage}}:
** Her ranger form is based on [[Series/MahouSentaiMagiranger MagiKing, and by proxy, MagiDragon]]. Her Kikainoid form meanwhile has SailorFuku elements, reminiscent of Houka's civilian uniform.
** The visible hair and a sudden appearance of mouth and nose features in her Ranger form evokes a feel from [[Series/BattleFeverJ Miss America]].
* InstantAwesomeJustAddDragons: Can transform into [=MaginDragon=].
* MagicStaff: Her WeaponOfChoice topped with a CrystalBall, which becomes her tail when she transforms into [=MagineDragon=].
* PowerMakesYourHairGrow: When transformed into Zenkai Magine, she grows a few locks of gold hair-like protrusions that poke out from her "helmet".
* ShrinkingViolet: She's a very shy person outside of combat, getting nervous quite easily. She's shown stuttering her way through a surprise interview during the first episode before she joins the team proper.
* TheSmurfettePrinciple: The only female member of the team.
* SpellMyNameWithAnS: While her MeaningfulName is based on the word ''Majin/"Mage"'', her name is spelt/pronounced as "Magine/Majinu", to make it more feminine-sounding.
* TrashOfTheTitans: She has a bad habit of not cleaning up after herself, often claiming she [[BlatantLies intends to]] but ends up getting too involved with her activities that she fails to do so and leaves large piles of trash lying around. Though due to her [[TheKlutz klutzy]] nature, it is shown that even if she ''does'' try it only makes matters FromBadToWorse. This does however {{ironic}}ally make her ''superb'' at finding things (and people) lost in large piles of trash. Somewhat foreshadowed in the ''[=ZenkaiRed=]'' special where she eats a bunch of candy and flings it onto the floor of the café without any regards for cleaning it up.
* VerbalTic: Ends her sentences with three "nu"s when she's having a nervous bout. When she's spell-casting, she evokes "mu mu mu" before actually casting the spell.

A ConstantlyCurious Kikainoid who's also a NeatFreak because of his previous profession of a garbageman. He initially served the Tojitendo as their janitor before he became a Zenkaiger after becoming fed up with Ijirude's treatment of him.
----
* AbnormalLimbRotationRange: While four of our heroes are Kikainoids, Vroon is the only one seen spamming this ability in combat.
* AttentionDeficitOohShiny: His ConstantlyCurious nature leads him to have an attention span of a goldfish, ''especially'' when he's particularly interested in something. Unsurprisingly, this pisses the others (sans Kaito) off to the point where Gaon has to take off his glasses in order for him to focus.
* BadassBookworm: He's the most knowledgeable among the team but is also the most physically strongest among them ([[DoesNotKnowHisOwnStrength not that he knows how to control his strength]]). His Zenkaiger form also grants him a [[GeniusBruiser physical strength-oriented]] powerset.
* BerserkButton: Due to being a NeatFreak, leaving trash and making things dirty (intentionally or not) really grinds his gears.
* BlindWithoutThem: Despite his robotic nature, episode 4 confirms that he really does needs glasses to see properly - his eyes even squinting when he's without them.
* ConstantlyCurious: He often wonders about why things work the way that they do, leading to him asking ''tons'' of questions and running off into places unrelated at the subject at hand. On the flip side, his curious nature allows him to gain some valuable knowledge for the team, such as in episode 4; relaying how the Tojiru Gears work and why the Kikanoids are stuck on the Goshikidas' world, among others.
* ContrastingSequelProtagonist:
** Unlike [[Series/MashinSentaiKiramager Shiguru]] before him, who was a famous actor and initially concealed his more dorky traits beneath a mask of cool aloofness, Vroon is a humble janitor and wears his dorkiness completely on his sleeve.
** [[Series/DoubutsuSentaiZyuohger Sela]] was logical and analytical, who more often than not acted serious and solemn. While trying to act just as stern and mature, Vroon's status as a klutz and his highly curious personality undermines his ability to be taken as seriously as Sela.
** Like [[Series/KaizokuSentaiGokaiger Joe Gibken]], Vroon used to work for the bad guys of their respective stories (Joe as an Zanygack solider and Vroon as an lowly janitor) before joining their Sentai team, with Joe being the first to be recuited to the core Gokaigers and Vroon being the last to join the core Zenkaigers. However, Vroon is ConstantlyCurious and often tripping over himself, which greatly contrasts the brooding and TheComicallySerious Joe.
* DetachmentCombat: As Zenkai Vroon he's capable of this, as seen in his debut battle where his upper torso detaches and flies in order to avoid an attack.
* EveryoneCallsHimBarkeep: It's implied that he's been referred to as just "cleaner bot" by the Tojitendo for so long that it took a while for him to recall his actual name.
* FishOutOfWater: It's implied he hadn't stepped out of the Tojitendo palace for a very long time, including the entire first month since Kikaitopia and Earth fused, to the point of even being unaware of said event until he overhears his superiors discussing it. It only worsens his ConstantlyCurious nature when he finally steps out and discovers the human world for the first time.
* {{Homage}}: His ranger form is based on [[Series/GoGoSentaiBoukenger DaiBouken]]. His Kikainoid form's body being vertically half-blue with a vertical zipper-like design on his chest is also reminiscent of Souta's uniform.
* TheKlutz: Downplayed. Because of his size and bulky figure, he ends up tripping on himself quite a bit as witnessed in the opening and the {{eyecatch}}, but he's still plenty limber enough to keep up with the rest of the team.
* NeatFreak: He's obsessed with order and cleanliness, which makes sense considering that he was a garbageman and janitor back in Kikaitopia before joining up with the Zenkaigers.
* NoRespectGuy: While working as Tojitendo's janitor, Vroon constantly gets shot by the Tojitendo executives whenever he happens to question their activities. Its anyone's wonder as to how he gets better on the next episode.
* PowerfulPick: Wields an pickaxe called the "Vroon Picker".
* TheSmartGuy: Acts as the studious member of the team, as well as the fact that he has glasses on.
* SmartPeopleWearGlasses: A curious Kikainoid who wears glasses in civilian form.
* TokenGoodTeammate: To the Tojitendo at first, being the only morally centered figure in a room full of bad guys.
* TokenRobot: An alternate mode variant, where he is the only Kikainoid whose Ranger form transforms into a vehicle (a dump truck at that) instead of a creature.

----
%%* BrotherSisterTeam: With Flint.
* {{Catchphrase}}: "Tsūkai ni iku ze!"[[note]]Translated as "Let's make this thrilling!"[[/note]]
* ContrastingSequelProtagonist:
** Like [[Series/MashinSentaiKiramager Takamichi]] before him, Zox is a member of a prominent family with a younger sister. While Takamichi and Mabushina were estranged (initially), Zox gets along fine with Flint. Takamichi was a treasure hunter who sought the Kanaema Stones for a selfless purpose, while Zox is also a treasure hunter who is after the Tojiru Gears for his own agenda. Personality-wise, Takamichi was a NiceGuy with a positive attitude, while Zox is sassy and cunning.
** Both [[Series/DoubutsuSentaiZyuohger Misao]] and Zox are the second human members of their respective teams. Misao started off as a BrainwashedAndCrazy villain who became a Ranger after getting kidnapped by the BigBad of his series, while Zox started off as an AntiHero who became a Ranger after he obtained his own equipment. And unlike Misao, who was a ShrinkingViolet that easily got depressed, Zox is outgoing, theatrical, and constantly on the move.
** [[Series/KaizokuSentaiGokaiger Gai Ikari]], the Silver Ranger and sole Earthling of the group, was a ''Sentai'' fanboy and a happy-go-lucky individual. Zox is the Gold Ranger and from another world, as well as a slick and clever individual with an agenda of his own.
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: Zox introduces himself to Kaito and Stacey by singing and dancing to his own sea shanty.
* GoldColoredSuperiority: He is the team's Gold Ranger, and is able to defeat Stacey without breaking a sweat.
* {{Homage}}: His ranger form is based on [[Series/KaizokuSentaiGokaiger GokaiOh if it were a Gokaiger]]. Even his {{catchphrase}} is one to Captain Marvelous's.
* MixAndMatchWeapon: His Geardalinger, which can switch between gun and sword modes.
* PunnyName:
** Zox is written as ''zokkusu'', which has ''zoku'', which in turn is taken from ''kaizoku'' or "pirate".
** For added punning, his title of "World Plunderer" is also read as ''kaizoku'', but instead having the kanji for "world" (界) replace that of "sea" (海)[[note]]"Pirate" is usually written in Japanese as "Sea Plunderer"[[/note]].
** His last name, Goldtweaker, is phonetically similar to "gold ''tsuika''", which literally means "gold sixth warrior".
** "Twokaizer" is based on the word ''tsukai'' (䜿い), which can mean "user", "envoy", "familiar", etc. In a sense he's an ''envoy'' who ''uses'' his ''familiar''-like partners to access different forms. It is also a pun of the word ''tsuukai'' (痛快), which means "exciting" or "jolly", as opposed to the Gokaiger's ''goukai'' (豪快), which has the same meaning.
** The name of his battleship/mecha, [=CrocoDaiOh=], is a play on "[[NeverSmileAtACrocodile crocodile]]".
* SixthRanger: He's the most recent addition to the team starting from episode 8, but his interests are aligned to himself for now.
* VerbalTic: He tends to pepper his sentences with "Yo-ho-ho-hoy!"

!Kikaitopia Dynasty Tojitendo
[[folder:General Tropes]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ksze_tojitendo_symbol.png]]
* AristocratsAreEvil: They are described as "Kikaitopia's ruling class" and have no sympathy towards humans; even their own race is not spared from their cruelty.
* ContrastingSequelAntagonist:
** The previous villains, the [[Series/MashinSentaiKiramager Yodonheim]], used organic monsters and weren't shown to be very technologically advanced, wielding magic instead. The Tojitendo are a group of technological beings who, naturally, use advanced technology as a means of conquest.
** The previous Sentai anniversary villains, the [[Series/KaizokuSentaiGokaiger Space Empire Zangyack]], were also technologically-advanced conquerors from space, but were defeated by all of the previous Sentai teams and returned to Earth years later for revenge. The Tojitendo actually ''succeeded'' in subduing the worlds of the previous Sentai teams, only resorting to the old-fashioned way of invasion when something prevented them from just sealing the Zenkaigers' world.
** Both [[Series/ChourikiSentaiOhranger the Baranoia Imperial Family]] and the Tojitendo dynasty are the expansionist, militaristic rulers of empires consisting of robots. While the Baranoia race was just as cruel as their masters towards humans, the Kikainoids generally get on well with humans and are shown to be chafing under the yoke of their overlords.
* DarkIsEvil: They're generally represented with dark colors and are the villains of the story.
* MeaningfulName: "Tojitendo" is a {{Portmanteau}} of "''tojiru''" (閉じる, "to close/lock up"), and "''tendo''" (倩堂, "heaven/paradise/utopia").
* MechanicalLifeforms: They're evil robots out to dominate the multiverse.
* MultiversalConqueror: They're out to conquer the ''Super Sentai'' multiverse, and have already imprisoned 44 Sentai worlds, and many other worlds along the way, in Tojiru Gears, with only the Zenkaigers' world remaining.
* RobotsEnslavingRobots: They rule over Kikaitopia, and are shown to oppress the Kikainoids living there.
* SerialEscalation: The villains of the last big {{crossover}} season, the Zangyack Empire, were {{Galactic Conqueror}}s who had already subjugated most of the universe before coming to Earth, but were thwarted by the Super Sentai. The Tojitendo are ''Multiverse'' Conquerors who've already taken over many universes, ''including'' the Super Sentai's, before coming to the world of the Zenkaigers.
* SpannerInTheWorks: A malfunction caused by an unknown force prevented the Zenkaigers' Earth from being sealed, while merging a part of Kikaitopia with it, which was why the Tojitendo had to resort to pulling an all-out practical invasion of that Earth instead.
* StandardEvilEmpireHierarchy: They form a pretty standard one.
** TheEmperor: Great King Boccowaus, the leader of the Tojitendo who rules Kikaitopia with an iron fist.
** The Right Hand: Gege, Boccowaus' pet who holds a good amount of influence in the Tojitendo.
** The General: Mobile Commander Barashitara, as he is the one holding down most of the fight against the Zenkaigers.
** The Guard: The Walds, though instead of guarding the Tojitendo's captured worlds they [[GeniusLoci literally become them]].
** The Oddball: Mechanic Officer Ijiride, the EvilGenius of the Tojitendo.
** The EvilCounterpart: Stacey, Barashitara's son and the Tojitendo's Evil Ranger.

[[folder:Great King Boccowaus]]
!!!'''Portrayed by:''' Creator/JojiNakata (voice)
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/boccowaus.jpg]]

The leader of the Tojitendo and king of Kikaitopia. He rules his empire with an iron fist, needing no more than sheer presence and notoriety to command his minions. His goal is to bring all of the worlds under his empire.
----
* BigBad: The leader of the Tojitendo and the main threat to the Zenkaigers.
* ContrastingSequelAntagonist:
** [[Series/MashinSentaiKiramager Emperor Yodon]] was a ShadowDictator for most of ''Kiramager'', who only made his full appearance in the final arc. Boccowaus is there from the start of the series and his presence is clearly visible. Yodon was a cruel dictator that clearly cared for nobody (including his own allies), while Boccowaus has a soft spot for Gege.
** [[Series/KaizokuSentaiGokaiger Emperor Akudos Gill]] was a true-to-form EvilOverlord like Boccowaus, but only gave orders far away from the his underlings right until the finale of his series, unlike Boccowaus, who gives his orders straight in front of his generals.
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: He's genuinely fond of Gege, to the point where he allows him to circumvent the entire chain of command and suggest things to him personally.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: Mostly PlayedForLaughs when Barashitara decides to send out Gomi Wald. He doesn't care how many people are killed to take over Earth, but he refuses to conquer a planet covered in garbage. [[FridgeLogic ...Again.]]
* EvilSoundsDeep: He's got quite the deep, nearly growly voice on him thanks to Creator/JojiNakata.
* LargeAndInCharge: He's ''gigantic'' to say the least, towering over his immediate lieutenants, and the king of the Tojitendo.
* MeaningfulName: His name is derived from "Bukkowasu" (ぶっ壊す) or "wreck it" in Japanese.
* MythologyGag:
** Back in the Showa Era, ''Franchise/SuperSentai'' (And other [[{{Toku}} Tokusatsu]] shows) used to cover up the BigBad by having them communicate via a wall. Boccowaus is a CallBack to this old trend, with the twist being that he ''is'' the wall.
** His name also brings to mind [[Series/ChourikiSentaiOhranger Emperor Bacchus Wrath]], who was also the ruler of a machine empire.
* NonStandardCharacterDesign: He's a massive head stuck on a wall. The main villain in this size and style is a rarity in the franchise, one would recall [[Series/TokumeiSentaiGoBusters Messiah]] or [[Series/ChikyuuSentaiFiveman Meadow]] on the presentation.
* OrcusOnHisThrone: [[JustifiedTrope Justified]] in that he's little more than a head and arm stuck on a wall.

The field captain of the Tojitendo. Due to his strength, he's the most active one in the field, enjoying the exhilaration that comes with invading worlds and crushing his enemies into scrap. Despite his overwhelming power, he's rather mischievous when fighting the Zenkaigers.
----
* AbusiveParents: He doesn't cares about Stacey, having no problem with Ijirude experimenting on him and only paying attention to his fights due to his brutish ways. And according to Stacey, his mother is dead thanks to him.
* BladeOnAStick: A variant. He wields a staff with a ''rocket'' on the end.
* BrainsAndBrawn: The ruthless, powerful Brawn to Ijirude's calculating Brain.
* TheBrute: He's the one who spearheads the Tojitendo's invasions and is very physically strong, able to send Kaito flying with just one blow.
* TheDragon: The Tojitendo's field captain and the main one advancing the attack against the Zenkaigers.
* {{Foreshadowing}}: He comments that "humans truly are light creatures" after flinging Kaito away in the first episode. It turns out he ''did'' have experiences with humans, a number of them being part of his ''[[ReallyGetsAround at least 893 wife harem]]''.
* ItAmusedMe: His only reason for getting involved in fights or observing them is to produce an amusing enough battle that will satisfy him. He even gives the Zenkaigers their due credit whenever they fought well.
* MeaningfulName: His name is derived from "Barashita" (バラした) in Japanese, which means to disassemble something.
* ReallyGetsAround: Episode 8 reveals that he has had at least ''893 wives'', Stacey's mother being one of them.

----
* BrainsAndBrawn: The science-oriented Brain to Barashitara's ruthless Brawn.
* EvilGenius: He's the man behind the Tojitendo's technology and monsters.
%%* EvilKnockoff: He stole the basis of the Goshikida scientists' Sentai Gear technology to create his own EvilCounterpart, the Tojiru Gears, and later the Dark Gears.
* {{Foreshadowing}}:
** He stammers upon hearing Kaito claiming that his parents invented the Sentai Gears, hinting he might have known them, before brushing it off and proclaiming that he ''[[BlatantLies coincidentally]]'' came up with the Tojitendo's Tojiru Gears.
** It was noted that he managed to invent the EvilKnockoff Geartozinger and the Dark Gears to counter the Zenkaigers' own equipment in ''a surprisingly short amount of time''. %%It makes sense considering he stole and copied the Goshikidas' Gear technology to begin with.
* HighClassGlass: Wears a monocle over one eye, and is one of the top Tojitendo officers.
* LightIsNotGood: He's primarily white, but he's the EvilGenius of the Tojitendo.
* MeaningfulName: His name is derived from "Ijiru" (いじる), which means "tinkering" in Japanese.

* {{Foreshadowing}}: When the Tojitendo's StandardEvilEmpireHierarchy was introduced, he wasn't included for some reason.

[[caption-width-right:250: ''Ja-bang! Stacaesar!'']]

The "Demon Prince" of the Tojitendo, and Barashitara's son.
----
* ATasteOfPower: His debut as Stacaesar turned out to be this for him. His reckless overuse of his Sentai Gears lead to the Geartozinger running out of power too fast, meaning to keep effective he can't mass-summon Sentai or Mecha.
* ContrastingSequelAntagonist:
** Both [[Series/KaizokuSentaiGokaiger Basco ta Jolokia]] and Stacey serve as their respective shows' EnemySummoner. Unlike Basco, who was only limited to summoning SixthRanger and Extra Ranger Key clones with his Rapparatta (though at one point he was able to generate copies of the Gokaigers), Stacey is able to summon ''an entire team'' of Rangers -- including their {{Humongous Mecha}}s to boot -- using the Dark Gears. Basco was vain and flamboyant in contrast to Stacey's more subdued demeanor. While Basco was out for himself and was only employed by the Zangyack to do their dirty work for them, only for him to eventually betray them, Stacey is the Tojitendo's "[[RedBaron Demon Prince]]". Basco assumed his own monster form late in his series, whereas Stacey transforms into an evil Ranger called Stacaesar.
** Like [[Series/MashinSentaiKiramager Yodonna]] before him, Stacey is his faction's TokenHuman who uses an EvilKnockoff version of the core team's TransformationTrinket; Yodonna's Yodon Changer was based off Kiramai Silver's Shiny Kiramai Changer, while the Geartozinger is a redeco of the Geartlinger. Yodonna was Emperor Yodon's personal assistant who was unaware that she was a split personality of the Emperor, while Stacey is the half-human son of Tojitendo general Barashitara.
* {{Chuunibyou}}: His mannerisms and way of talking practically has that air. Even the text on his background after transforming is his name... in ''[[AlternateCharacterReading kanji]]''!
%%* TheComicallySerious
* DarkAndTroubledPast: [[MissingMom His mother supposedly died]] at Barashitara's hands, while the latter [[ParentalAbandonment completely abandoned him as his son]].
* DarkIsEvil: Is on the villains' side, and is [[EvilWearsBlack clad predominantly in black]].
* EnemySummoner: Using his Dark Gears, he can summon entire Sentai teams and/or their mecha to fight the Zenkaigers.
* EvilCannotComprehendGood: He is utterly confounded by Kaito not resenting his missing parents and refusing to believe that they abandoned him.
* EvilCounterpart: To the Zenkaigers as a whole; while the Gears the Zenkaigers use can only grant them the powers of other Sentai, the Dark Gears allow Stacey to summon the aforementioned Sentai and their Mechas (or their copies, at least).
* EvilKnockoff: He transforms into an evil purple, red and black version of Zenkaizer. His Geartozinger is also a purple, red and black Geartlinger based on King Boccowaus's bird Gege, not unlike the Zenkaigers' gun being based on Secchan. The Dark Gears he use are purple versions of the heroes' gold Sentai Gears.
* EvilSoundsDeep: The Geartozinger has a much deeper and more electronic voice than its heroic counterpart.
* {{Foil}}: To Kaito/Zenkaizer, with his actor even stating that he portrayed Stacey as "like Kaito, but with shades of being [[{{Chuunibyou}} chuuni]]." Both of them are the TokenHuman (or at least outwardly human) of their respective sides, but while Kaito is an energetic NiceGuy who's not too bright at times, Stacey is a calm soldier who's working for his own interests. Their Ranger names also mirror one another (Sta'''''caesar'''''/Zen'''''kaizer'''''); both "Caesar" and "Kaiser" are respectively the Latin and German words for an imperial title derived from UsefulNotes/JuliusCaesar.
* GenderBlenderName: "Stacey/Stacy" is traditionally a feminine name, though it has been used occasionally for men.
* HalfHumanHybrid: Episodes 7 and 8 reveal that he's half-human; specifically, he's the son of Barashitara and an unidentified human woman.
* {{Homage}}: The helmet and scarf in his Ranger form make him look like an evil [[Series/BattleFeverJ Battle Japan]].
* KnightOfCerebus: The Tojitendo, its generals and their Walds were already big threats the Zenkaigers must face, but the show is still quite hilarious and lighthearted despite their presence. This guy, however, raises the stakes exponentially and all of his appearances are played far more seriously than the other villains. And that's not even covering his rivalry with Kaito over the differences between their histories, the fates of their parents and how they reacted to their parents "disappearing".
* LongHairedPrettyBoy: He's pretty easy on the eyes and has medium length hair.
* LukeYouAreMyFather: He reveals himself to be Barashitara's son at the end of episode 6.
* NecessaryDrawback: In his first appearance, he averts WhyDontYouJustShootHim and abuses his Geartozinger to summon past Sentai and mecha en-masse to overwhelm the Zenkaigers. However, it's soon revealed that using the Geartozinger this way quickly exhausts its energy, which he finds out when his army of mecha disappear before they can finish the heroes off.
* NothingPersonal: Tells Kaito as such in his introductory episode. He has no personal grudge against the Zenkaigers or even any real loyalty to the Tojitendo, but if siding with the Empire and defeating the team will help him accomplish his goals, then he'll do so. This is then subverted in the following episode as he learns that Kaito's WideEyedIdealist hopes in finding his parents goes against his own DarkAndTroubledPast over losing his parents. [[ItsPersonal This now gives him an actual reason to want to defeat Kaito]].
* NotSoStoic: Kaito's optimism over finding his parents really sets the normally aloof Stacey off, as it heavily contrasts with his pessimism over his DarkAndTroubledPast, giving him a true motivation to defeat Kaito.
* PurpleIsPowerful: His civilian outfit has purple accents, his Ranger form is mostly purple, and he's a general of the Tojitendo. The equipment he uses are also (predominantly) purple versions of the Zenkaigers'.
* RavenHairIvorySkin: He looks very attractive and has dark black hair with pale skin.
* RedBaron: He's referred to as the "Demon Prince", indicating he's '''''not''''' someone to take lightly.
* TheRival: To Kaito/Zenkaizer, especially over their histories, parents and their outlooks on their parents going missing.
* SpellMyNameWithAnS:
** As of the moment, it is debatable if his name is spelt in English with an 'e' (Stacy/Stac'''e'''y). The TV-Nihon fansubs additionally names him ''"Stacee"''.
** Likewise, his transformed state was also being debated between "Staceyzer" and "Stacaesar", before being confirmed as the latter.
* TokenHuman: He's the only member of the Tojitendo with a human form. Episode 7 further reveals that he's a [[HalfHumanHybrid human-Kikanoid hybrid]].

Mechanical beings formed from Tojiru Gears, which are created when the Tojitendo successfully seals a [[AlternateUniverse parallel world]]. When defeated, the parallel world they represent will be freed.
----
* ContrastingSequelAntagonist: While similar in concept to the [[Series/MashinSentaiKiramager Jamenshi]], the Jamenshis' goal was to gather enough negative energy from human suffering to open a gateway to bring over the entire Yodon army to conquer Earth. The Walds meanwhile cause mayhem on Earth just to make it easier for the Tojitendo to physically conquer it, but on a more widespread level due to being able to trigger WhenDimensionsCollide.
* GeniusLoci: They're created using Tojiru Gears with parallel universes sealed in them. So in a sense, they are the sealed worlds. Defeating one frees the world the Wald draws its power from.
* MonsterOfTheWeek: The main enemies the Zenkaigers face, both to prevent Earth from [[WhenDimensionsCollide warping beyond recognition]] and to free the sealed world each represents.
* MeaningfulName: Spelt as "Wald" as a contraction of the word "World" to signify that they are a corrupted representation of the Worlds they are based on.
* MookPromotion: Ijirude creates them by fusing a Tojiru Gear with a Kudack, upgrading it to a Kudaiter before layering the Wald's unique features over it.
* PlanetOfHats: The worlds they represent are often these, which provides and fuels the unique characteristics each of them have.
* PunnyName: Their name is based on the word "warui/悪い/evil", as well as "world", minus the elongation.
* RealityWarper: The longer they are unleashed on Earth, the more Earth [[WhenDimensionsCollide will be fused with the parallel world they represent]].
* SpellMyNameWithAnS: Several fan translations have their name spelt in English as "World". However the original Japanese spelling lacks an elongation which makes it read as "Wald"[[note]]"ワルド/Warudo" as opposed to "ワヌルド/W'''ā'''rudo/World"[[/note]].
* VerbalTic: They commonly litter their speech with their own names.
%% Please do not re-reveal Walds who lack any tropes.
!!Kinoko Wald
!!!'''Portrayed by:''' Mitsuaki Kanuka (voice)
A Wald created from the Kinoko Tojiru Gear, representing Kinokotopia, a world predominated by mushrooms.
----
* FamousLastWords: ''"Be careful around wild mushrooms, kinoko!"''
* FesteringFungus: He causes mushrooms to grow ''everywhere'', even on living creatures and people. They eventually grow to the point of releasing spores that are harmful to all biological beings, while Kikainoids are unaffected.
* MushroomMan: He is essentially this.
* VerbalTic: He litters his sentences with ''"kinoko"''. Ijirude notices this and lampshades it, asking why he does this.
-->'''Kinoko Wald:''' Since I am now Kinoko Wald, in order to not forget that I'm Kinoko Wald, I do this, kinoko!
!!Koori Wald
!!!'''Portrayed by:''' Shintaro Ohata (voice)
A Wald created from the Koori Tojiru Gear, representing Kooritopia, a subzero world of ice.
----
* EndlessWinter: He causes freezing temperatures on Earth, covering everywhere with a thick layer of ice, to the point that even the ''sea'' has started freezing by the time the Zenkaigers found him.
* FamousLastWords: ''"Be careful eating shaved ice too fast, koori!"''
* AnIcePerson: His power allows him to create ice.
!!Boxing Wald
!!!'''Portrayed by:''' Shunichi Maki (voice)
A Wald created from the Boxing Tojiru Gear, representing Boxingtopia, a world where everyone resolves their conflicts through fighting with boxing.
----
* FamousLastWords: ''"[[Manga/TomorrowsJoe I've burnt out into white ashes]], boxing!!"''
* GratuitousEnglish: The winners among those hit by his HatePlague will often declare in English ''"I'm winner!"''
* HatePlague: His gong causes people to be equipped with boxing gloves and initiate a boxing-based battle royale, fighting each other until the last one standing.
* RedBoxingGloves: Not only does Boxing Wald have these as part of his design, but the people hit by his HatePlague gain boxing gloves that can come in red, and sometimes blue if they're already facing someone with red gloves.
* RocketPunch: He is able to launch his boxing gloves as such.
!!Sushi Wald
!!!'''Portrayed by:''' Yutaka Aoyama (voice)
A Wald created from the Sushi Tojiru Gear, representing Sushitopia, a world that revolves around sushi.
----
* FamousLastWords: ''"We're closed for today! No more customers allowed, sushi!"''
* PunnyName: His weapons have these.
** His missiles, ''A-B'', are based off "Ebi/Prawn".
** His ''Wasabeam'' is a {{portmanteau}} of "wasabi" and "beam".
* StickySituation: He makes "sushi" out of his victims, sticking them down onto whatever he grasps them with using sticky rice and seaweed wrapping, and sometimes topping it off with extra sticky wasabi.
!!Gomi Wald
!!!'''Portrayed by:''' Keiji Himeno (voice)
A Wald created from the Gomi Tojiru Gear, representing Gomitopia, a world covered in mountains of garbage.
----
* FamousLastWords: ''"Sort your garbage before you throw it away, gomi!"''
* LazyBum: He's able to send an energy wave through his trash piles that causes victims to become too lazy to clean up his mess.
* TrashOfTheTitans: UpToEleven. His main power is to cover the world with garbage.
!!Door Wald
!!!'''Portrayed by:''' Shoya Chiba (voice)
A Wald created from the Door Tojiru Gear, representing Doortopia, a world of portal doors.
----
* FamousLastWords: ''"Make sure to keep your doors locked at night!"''
* PortalDoor: His powers not only creates such, but also turns all existing doors into portals to random locations all over the world, causing panic and disarray. Even ''windows'' are no exceptions.
* VerbalTic: He has an additional one of ''"Domo!"''(Nice to meet you!) alongside ending his sentences with his name as a default tic all Walds have.

!!Super/Normal Warumono Wald
!!!'''Portrayed by:''' Creator/TomokazuSeki (voice)
A Wald created from the Super Warumono Tojiru Gear, which represents a collective world of Super Sentai villains. He was later reborn as Normal Warumono Wald as a result of never getting the chance to take over a Kudaitest and grow giant.
----
* BigBad: He's the main antagonist of ''Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger The Movie: Red Battle! All Sentai Rally!!''. Fitting, as he's a literally a combination of every previous Sentai BigBad.
* BroughtDownToNormal: His power as ''Normal''. [[spoiler:He granted Zenkai Red his equipment in order to upstage Kaito, and was the true culprit behind the Kikainoid Zenkaigers turning human, ultimately turning the Zenkaigers into a much more "normal" Sentai team. Once the team was formed, the once-Kikainoids were unable to transform due to their mismatching biology, while he erased Zenkai Red's equipment, rendering all of them defenseless against him.]]

* VerbalTic:
** As Super Warumono Wald, he mixes Sentai villain names into his sentences.

A mysterious young man with the power to transform into a red Zenkaizer. He aims to usurp Kaito's position as the new leader of the Zenkaigers.
----
* BaitAndSwitch: It's heavily implied that his presence was the cause of the Zenkaigers turning human. [[spoiler:Turns out the true culprit was Normal Warumono Wald.]]
* BayonetYa: His finishing move is to conjure an energy bayonet from his Geartlinger to destroy his opponents.
* DealWithTheDevil: [[spoiler:With Normal Warumono Wald. They struck a deal for [[EngineeredHeroics Zenkai Red to finish off the latter in a much spectacular way as possible]], with the latter claiming he was DrivenToSuicide and was willing giving the former a chance for fame as a hero at the cost of his life. Unfortunately, [[FalsePromise Normal didn't keep his promise]].]]
* FantasticRacism: When he first walks into the team at Colorful, he declares to them that the ''human world'' should be protected by ''humans only'', angering the Kikainoids.
* {{Foreshadowing}}:
** Unlike the Zenkaigers' Finishing Move (where they charge a beam before their giant logo slams onto their target), Zenkai Red's has him performing an energy bayonet. It's not only a clue to how his powers were never to be worked with the Zenkaigers to begin with, [[spoiler: but also the fact that he is an UnwittingPawn to Normal Warumono Wald.]]
** [[spoiler: Considering that his Geartlinger and Sentai Gears are all coming from Normal Warumono Wald, this means that Tojitendo as a whole had acquired the ability to replicate the Zenkaiger's technology. In fact, Zenkai Red '''is '''''not''''' the first Zenkaizer knockoff''' as far as anyone is concerned.]]
* LawOfChromaticSuperiority: Invoked and exploited by Normal Warumono Wald as part of his scheme. Aside from being a fully red ranger unlike Zenkaizer, he's established to be a calm, analyzing leader who's much more badass and competent in battle than Kaito is.
* NoNameGiven: When Kaito asks for his real name in the end, he refuses to answer as he leaves, telling him that he will only reveal it if the former actually does cede leadership of the Zenkaigers to him.
* RedIsHeroic:
** {{Subverted|Trope}}. Despite being shaped up to be one, he was never meant to be a real hero, but an UnwittingPawn of [[spoiler:Normal Warumono Wald]].
** Later played straight as Kaito recognises that him taking up the mantle of Zenkai Red was out of an earnest desire to protect his world. [[spoiler:Once he realises this and regains his confidence, he was able to recreate his equipment that was erased by Normal Warumono Wald to continue fighting.]]
* UnwittingPawn: [[spoiler:His argument with Kaito over who gets to be the Zenkaiger's leader, as well as the Kikainoid members turning into humans were all part of Normal Warumono Wald's scheme to break the team apart from within]].
* WhatKindOfLamePowerIsHeartAnyway: [[spoiler:Despite somehow being able to recreate his equipment through believing in himself once more, he remains skeptical of the power of the heart, but nevertheless still accepts it in the end.]]

[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/zenkaigers.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:350:''The five warriors, assembled: Kikai Sentai, Zenkaiger!'']]
* ContrastingSequelMainCharacter:
[[Characters/KikaiSentaiZenkaigerZenkaigers Zenkaigers]]
* CoolGun: The Geartlinger is not only their TransformationTrinket, it also allows them to harness the powers of past Super Sentai.
[[Characters/KikaiSentaiZenkaigerAllies Allies]]

* {{Catchphrase}}:
* ContrastingSequelProtagonist:
* OddNameOut: Within the team.

* KnightlySwordAndShield: As Zenkai Juran, his main weapons are Juran Sword
[[Characters/KikaiSentaiZenkaigerMovieAndSpinoffExclusiveCharacters Movie and Juran Shield, inspired by the same set of weapons wielded by Daizyuzin.

* ContrastingSequelProtagonist:

* ContrastingSequelMainCharacter:
* {{Homage}}:

* ContrastingSequelProtagonist:

* PunnyName:

* ContrastingSequelAntagonist:

* ContrastingSequelAntagonist:
* MythologyGag:

* ReallyGetsAround: Episode 8 reveals that he has had at least ''893 wives'', Stacey's mother being one of them.

* NonStandardCharacterDesign: His upper half of his body is fully mobile, but the bottom half of his body is resembles like a tank.
* TankTreadMecha: He moves by wheeling around on his tank-like lower body.

[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/gege.jpg]]

A robotic crow that sits on Boccowaus's shoulder. While he looks innocent, he's actually the most capable member, using his position and the emperor's doting to enact his own plans with his silver tongue. He can be exceptionally vicious towards the Kikanoids when he wants to be.
----
* AlmightyJanitor: He's technically just the TeamPet to Boccowaus, but because his owner is the ruler of the regime, he wields quite a bit of clout in Kikaitopia.
* EvilCounterpart: To Secchan, being a purple bird robot that assists the Tojitendo.
* {{Foreshadowing}}: When the Tojitendo's StandardEvilEmpireHierarchy was introduced, he wasn't included for some reason.
* LargeAndInCharge: He's to scale with his master and commands considerable sway within the Tojitendo, due to his status as Boccowaus's pet.
* NumberTwo: He serves as Boccowaus's assistant.
* TeamPet: He's Boccowaus's personal pet.
* WhyDontYouJustShootHim: He's the one who suggested the Tojitendo perform an all-out invasion instead of simply sealing Earth into a Tojiru Gear as they did with all the rest of the other worlds, due to WheresTheFunInThat, and the fact that Earth is the last world to take over but there were difficulties sealing it for an unknown reason.

[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ksze_stacaesar.png]]

* ContrastingSequelAntagonist:
* SpellMyNameWithAnS:

The elite footsoldiers of the Tojitendo. Unlike the Kudacks, they are fully capable of speech. They serve as a template for the Walds.
----
* BladeOnAStick: They have a similar one to the Kudacks, only that theirs have jagged spikes on the tip.
* EliteMook: They're far stronger than basic Kudacks and able to hold their own against a Zenkaiger for a decent amount of time.
* MeaningfulName: Just like the Kudacks, they are named based on the word "kudaku", however the Kudaiters end with a "-ter" suffix to indicate they are a level above the normal Kudacks.
* MonsterOfTheWeek: One of them served as the very first one in episode 1.

Giant BlankSlate robots deployed on Earth when a Wald is defeated.
----
* GiantMook: In their blank state. They are often established to be grouped in the same [[StandardEvilEmpireHierarchy mook hierarchy]] as the Kudacks and Kudaiters and are at the top of it.
* MakeMyMonsterGrow: Their main purpose. It absorbs the defeated Wald's damaged Tojiru Gear, [[TheCorruption allowing the Wald to take over its body]] and become a berserk giant version of itself, known as a Great Wald.
* MeaningfulName: Just like the Kudacks, they are named based on the word "kudaku", however the Kudaitests end with a "-test" suffix to indicate they are the strongest and above both the Kudacks and Kudaiters.

!!Walds
[[folder:Walds]]

* FantasticRacism: When he first walks into the team at Colorful, he declares to them that the ''human world'' should be protected by ''humans only'', angering the Kikainoids.
