* {{Badass}}: Arguably even more badass than ''Grandfather''. ''WesternAnimation/OperationZERO'' implies that he's stronger than Grandfather, but that he lacks any real motivation or confidence because of his childhood.
* BigBad
* BreakTheHaughty
* BurningWithAnger: Not just WreathedInFlames, but they increase in intensity when angry.
* CainAndAbel: [[spoiler:The Cain to Numbuh Zero's Abel.]]
* CardCarryingVillain
* ChildHater
* ClothesMakeTheSuperman: Proabaly a power inherited from Grandfather (its never really explained) but the shadow look is a cover giving him his powers and intimidating nature. The one time its taken off, we see the real Father (and [[spoiler: he's surprisingly rather nerdy looking.]])
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: Kinda becomes this through VillainDecay.
* CowardlyLion: A villainous example. He is too afraid of Grandfather, which is why the latter has a disdain for him.
* DiabolicalMastermind
* DisproportionateRetribution: In the finale, he wants to kill Numbuh One for stealing his pipe.
* DistinguishedGentlemansPipe
* DoesNotLikeSpam: He hates broccoli. In fact, he claims that ''everyone'' hates it, and that the only reason that adults make kids eat it is so that ''they'' don't have to. In fact, [[spoiler: in "Operation: I.T.", Numbuh 362 was able to subdue him by threatening to forcefeed it to him.]]
* EnemyMine: With the KND in ''WesternAnimation/OperationZERO'' [[spoiler:He wimps out when he loses the motivation.]]
* EvilIsBurningHot: Is it ''ever''.
* EvilIsHammy: You can tell Creator/MauriceLaMarche is having way too much fun with this role.
* EvilPlan: One in each episode but the overarching is one to bring down the KND organization.
* [[spoiler:EvilUncle: To Nigel.]]
* [[spoiler:FreudianExcuse]]: [[spoiler:Grandfather makes him look like a saint and the reason he refused to help fight him wasn't out of evil but out of pure fear. * GlowingEyesOfDoom
* HairTriggerTemper: Through {{Flanderization}}.
* HatesBeingTouched
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: Father's fire powers are this in certain episodes.
* HumanoidAbomination: Can in ways be seen as this.
* KnightOfCerebus: Before the decay set in, he was taken ''very'' seriously whenever he showed up.
* [[spoiler:LukeIAmYourFather]]: [[spoiler:In TheMovie he reveals he's Numbuh One's uncle.]]
* TheManBehindTheMan: In the earlier episodes, the Delightful Children were the main villains, though he was mentioned in the first episode. In "Operation: C.A.N.N.O.N." the Delightfuls mention a curfew alert stating that they had to leave their butt whupping on Sector V or else Father would be angry.
* {{Manchild}} / PsychopathicManchild: He really is no more mature than most of the Kids he battles.
* MeaningfulName: [[spoiler: His real name comes from real life figure Benedict Arnold who was best known as a traitor to the U.S during the Revolutionary War. As shown in the movie, when given the chance to fight against Grandfather alongside Numbuh Zero, B. Uno was too scared to do so and exits, not once but ''twice''.]]
* MoralMyopia: Has own experiences of child abuse from his father, yet is perfectly fine with bullying kids during his grown up years.
* NewPowersAsThePlotDemands: In various episodes he's displayed one-time powers like MindOverMatter (Operation: C.A.K.E.D.-F.I.V.E.) and MesACrowd. (Operation: I.T.)
* NoCelebritiesWereHarmed: His voice is a parody of Kirk Douglas, [[HeyItsThatVoice which LaMarche previously used]] on ''WesternAnimation/{{Animaniacs}}''.
* PlayingWithFire: Gets it from his dad.
* RealMenWearPink
* SinisterSilhouettes
* TheUnfavorite: Grandfather favored [[spoiler: Zero]] over him mostly because Father was too spineless to stand up for himself.
* VileVillainSaccharineShow: Before the decay set in.
* VillainsOutShopping
* WellDoneSonGuy: To his father, Grandfather.

Father's eerie children, supposedly an adult's view of the "perfect" kids. They are educated, well-dressed and polite, but uncivilized in their burning hatred for the Kids Next Door. They always appear clustered together, move as one and speak [[VoiceOfTheLegion in perfect unison]]. [[folder:Chad Dickson]]
[[quoteright:350:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/chad_knd.jpg]]
'''Chad Dickson''' / formerly '''Numbuh Two Seventy-Four'''

->''"There was no way I was going to turn over everything I ever built, everything I ever worked for, to a bunch of snot-nosed kids!"''

Former Soopreme Leader of the Kids Next Door idolized and loved by all, he turned evil the moment he turned thirteen. He then served as a high-ranking member of the Teen Ninjas, and lost all the respect he had to his name. Generally cocky and approving of himself, both before and after his betrayal. Voiced by Jason Harris.

* TheAce: Prior to his defection, he was considered to be the greatest KND operative on the planet.
** BrokenAce: For all his skill, Chad's a tool [[spoiler:that is obsessed with being the best.]]
* ArchEnemy: To Numbuh 1. [[spoiler:Their fight in "Operation: T.R.E.A.T.Y." is easily one of the most personal ones on the show.]]
* BecomingTheMask: Sort of. [[spoiler:He's faking treachery and is a secret teen operative for the KND... however, after many defeats, his hatred for Numbuh One becomes real and he tries to kill him in his final appearance in the show.]]
* BadassNormal
* BigBrotherMentor: Was this when he was still Numbuh 274.
* BlondGuysAreEvil
* CardCarryingVillain
* ChildHater
* EvilIsDumb: After he turns evil, he automatically loses competence. [[spoiler:This may be [[JustifiedTrope justified]] by his role as a mole. (Hey, that rhymes.)]]
* FaceHeelTurn
* FallenHero
* [[spoiler:FakeDefector]]: [[spoiler:Revealed in "Operation: T.R.E.A.T.Y.", though, as evidenced by his VillainousBreakdown, he genuinely does have a lot of negative qualities.]]
* [[spoiler:GoodAllAlong]]
* [[spoiler:GoodIsNotNice]]: [[spoiler:He was nice when he was Soopreme Commander. But when he showed he was a deep cover agent, his jealousy still made him act like a nasty tool.]]
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: During Nigel's training days, Chad showed him a move that left Nigel flat on his back. [[spoiler: In his final battle against Numbuh 1, Nigel uses the same move to beat him.]]
* {{Irony}}: [[spoiler: As Numbuh 1 states, he was the best of the KND and he could've just bowed out gracefully while still keeping his Mole status. Indeed, if he hadn't let his pride get the better of him, he would've left a great legacy behind. He was the one who trained Numbuh 1 after all, so the kids would've definitely looked up to him after his departure. Maurice had the common sense to realize this, and allowed himself to be "decommissioned" so the KND would at least know of his reason for going bad and not have a grudge against him. Chad, however, acted too rashly (trying to destroy the KND base and then fleeing), so he'll forever have a traitor status to his name despite working behind the scenes.]]
** It ''can'' be argued that [[spoiler: his false FaceHeelTurn was so the villains would be more convinced. After all, a legendary KND suddenly wants to go evil for no reason and they aren't supposed to be suspicious?]]
* ItsPersonal: The underlying resentment between Chad and Numbuh One over his betrayal led to a fight between the two in ''Operation: T.R.E.A.T.Y.'' By that point, it had become ''extremely'' personal.
* LamarckWasRight: His parents are Destructo Dad and Mega Mom, and he later becomes more of a recurring threat than they ever were.
** The only time they are only mentioned (as his parents) is during "Operation E.N.D." but they aren't mentioned by name. They attend many supervillain meetings, but their bond between Chad isn't mentioned again.
* PeekABangs
* {{Pride}}: He thinks he's still the best there is.
* TeensAreMonsters
* VillainousBreakdown: [[spoiler:In his last appearance, he gets so jealous of Nigel for being the best Kid Next Door on Earth that he tries to kill him.]]
** [[spoiler: Operation: E.N.D likewise had this as his plans to fix the damage backfire royally culimating with him ranting how hard it is to run an organization full of "brats".]]
* VillainousCrossdresser: In "Operation: S.L.U.M.B.E.R.".
** [[SuspiciouslySpecificDenial It's not a bra!]] [[InsistentTerminology It's Battle Ready Armor!]]
* WorldsBestWarrior: Before his defection, he was considered to be the best KND operative on the planet. [[spoiler:One of the main reasons why he hates Nigel so much is because even while being a FakeDefector, Numbuh 1 is believed to have surpassed him. Unfortunately for Chad, it's proven to be true.]]

'''Mr. Boss'''

->''"So long, shrimp! I hope your friend likes Pluto!"''

CEO of a big company and additionally the "leader" of the villains, he tends to lead them on cooperative missions. He hates all children... except his own. Voiced by Creator/JeffBennett.

* CardCarryingVillain
* CatchPhrase: "Aww geez it's the Toiletnator!"
* ChildHater: He has one exception, his children... One of them being ''Numbuh 86''.
* ContinuityCavalcade: Due to his nature as a leader of villains, and due to the show's nature of strong continuity, he is most commonly seen with a good portion of the adult villains seen up to that point.
* CorruptCorporateExecutive
* BadBoss: Tried to send all of the daughters of his employees to Pluto just so he can make them work ''even more''.
* EveryoneCallsHimBarkeep: "Operation: D.A.D.D.Y." reveals his last name to be [[spoiler:Fulbright]], so his villain name only shows his position.
* {{Facepalm}}: Whenever he sees the Toiletnator.
* GoodSmokingEvilSmoking
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: The reason why Mr. Boss's plans always get screwed over by the Toiletnator? Because he refuses to let the Toiletnator participate in his plans, thinking that he'll screw up, so the Toiletnator "takes things on his own level".
* LukeIAmYourFather: He's Numbuh 86's father.
* MoralMyopia: He hates kids unless they happen to be his.
* PetTheDog: He does love his own children.
* YankTheDogsChain: After the reveal that [[spoiler:Fanny is his daughter]], he says he'll fix pancakes for his children. He offers Numbuh 1 and his son's (Mr. Boss's son) sector for pancakes in a nice tone, but then tells them to go to a diner. He even turns off the lights on him.

[[folder:Grandfather]]
[[quoteright:300:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Grandfather_2441.jpg]]
'''Grandfather'''

Father [[spoiler:and Monty Uno[=/=]Numbuh Zero]]'s father and an EvilOverlord who once ruled the entire planet. He's by far the most dangerous enemy the KND have ever faced and makes Father look like a saint compared to him. Acted as the BigBad in TheMovie. Voiced by Neil Ross.

* AbusiveParent: He's ''why'' Father is the way he is.
* ArchnemesisDad: To [[spoiler:Numbuh 0]].
* BigBad: Of TheMovie.
* BiggerBad: Of the series as a whole.
* CardCarryingVillain: The first thing he says after being reawakened is to thank Father for "reawakening the pure evil" laying dormant within him.
* CurbStompBattle: It didn't take him a whole lot of effort reconquering the world, likely because his minions are borderline invincible.
* TheDarkTimes: His previous reign. After that, it's little surprise the KND are so fearful of adults.
* DystopiaJustifiesTheMeans: His intent is nothing less than a CrapsackWorld where kids, and the second time, anyone who had ''ever'' been a kid, toils endlessly to create tapioca pudding for his consumption. It's a ''lot'' worse than it sounds.
* EvilOverlord: Once ruled the world with an iron fist before Numbuh Zero betrayed and defeated him.
* EvilerThanThou: To literally every villain in the RoguesGallery once they find out his plan to turn everyone that's ever been a kid into Senior Citizombies includes them. Father outright states that Grandfather is eviler than him before reviving him, calling him "The World's Most UltimateEvil".
* {{Expy}}: He seems to be partially based on Aku from ''SamuraiJack'' -- a black, shadowy monster who stands a couple stories tall in his natural state, can manipulate fire, and his very awakening spells doom for the whole world.
* FisherKing: When he rules the world, he uses his RealityWarper abilities to convert it into an old-style CrapsackWorld complete with child labor and Industral Era-style factories making tapioca pudding for him to eat.
* GenreSavvy: Is smart enough to NOT underestimate HopeSpringsEternal and understands he hasn't really won until he's destroyed the Book of KND, which let Numbuh Zero defeat him the last time. He also doesn't go out to find it until nearly the entire world is under his control and the Kids Next Door are all but destroyed.
* HeroKiller: He almost completely converts the KND into senior citizombies.
* HumanoidAbomination
* LargeHam: Is an even bigger ham than his son.
* LaserGuidedAmnesia: Literally; his memory was erased by Numbuh Zero using some kind of laser, reducing him to a harmless old man until he's "recommissioned" by Father. This is the only way to defeat him, as all other attempts failed.
* NighInvulnerability: His reaction to getting [[ColonyDrop crushed under the entire Kids Next Door Moonbase]] is to dust himself off and ask if they really thought that would work.
* NoOntologicalInertia: His defeat restores the world to normal.
* OhCrap: Seeing the moon base barreling down on top of him. True it didn't do anything to hurt him, but A for catching him off guard.
* ParentalFavoritism: He prefers Monty [[spoiler:Uno]] over Father [[spoiler: Benedict]], even though he betrayed him. Doesn't stop him from trying to incinerate him.
* PhysicalGod: He's the single strongest villain in the series and is capable of surviving a direct hit from a ColonyDrop without even a scratch. He can also 'age' the entire world at will.
* PlayingWithFire: Father gets it from him.
* RapidAging: His primary ability is to age everything he touches, though not only does he age them rapidly, he turns them into his 'Senor Citizombie' minions. All individuals he ages gain the ability to do it to others.
* RealityWarper: He's capable of changing the world as he sees fit, normally to a more "old time" look.
* SuperpoweredEvilSide: His human form is a harmless old man so long as his memories aren't restored.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Tapioca pudding, so much so that was one of the reasons he wanted to rule the earth.
* TransformationSequence: Unlike Father, who just grows his "shadow suit" back, Grandfather sucks in the shadows from everything in the room to form his after being reawakened in a much more elaborate fashion.
* UngratefulBastard: Not even reviving him wins [[spoiler:Father]] any affection; he flat-out tells him to leave after being revived.
* TheVirus
* VileVillainSaccharineShow: ''Oh good god, yes''.
* WalkingWasteland: His RapidAging affects everything in his path. He has to make physical contact with people, however.
* WellDoneSonGuy: Done to Father, apparently not even reawakening him from his slumber earns his respect.
* [[ZombieApocalypse Citizombie Apocalypse]]
