* HumanAliens: [[DownplayedTrope Downplayed]]. Ben, [[KnifeNut Jeff]], [[CreepyChild Sally]], and [[NervousWreck Lost Silver]] are the closest to look like humans between their bunch, but are far from being actual humans. However...

* FaceDeathWithDignity: [[spoiler: Initially averted when they are about to die due to Pearl's mind being erased. [[VillainousBreakdown They panic, attempt to escape only to realize they're losing their powers, and try to use the last of their forces to scare Pearl onto submission]]. However, when this fails and Pearl verbally shuts them down with a speech combining ShutUpHannibal with TheReasonYouSuckSpeech and BreakThemByTalking, they accept they are doomed and the only thing they do to try and avert this is a resurrection spell that, at least now, had no results.]]

* TheSociopath: The entire group (maybe even Sally, the softest of them all as suggested in "Nightbandits") fits this trope. A example connected to them is a mural hidden in the Rosenqueen Palace, about them looking down at three people being killed in different ways, while ''sadistically grinning''.
* StandardEvilOrganizationSquad: A variation. Ten dream demons that are working together on their omnious objectives.
* TooKinkyToTorture: Zalgo does abuse of Chara's body while possesing it, but while it's damaging enough for a deconstruction to be invoked in the showdown agains't Frisk, it's apparently less worse than the abuse Bill inflicted on Dipper, since Chara stated that she had to lay in bed and sleep a whole weekend, instead of stating she had to go to a hospital.
* TheEndOfTheWorldAsWeKnowIt: [[spoiler:Their ultimate goal, as revealed by Garnet in "Frisk and The Secret World", is merge their realm with Earth, starting a apocalypse.]]

** Before the group goes away in "Nightbandits", Ben Drowned warns to Chara and friends about a incoming day in the future.

* WouldHurtAChild: Being a child is definitively not one of the steps to be safe from them.
* YoureCuteWhenYoureAngry: Oddly Averted with Zalgo in "Friendship Ever After: A Doll Musical". He states that he hates when Chara is mad right after the latter tries to attack him [[ThickerThanWater because he and the rest of his group hurted her family]].

* DreamWeaver: As long as any of them are inside a dream, there's no boundaries setted agains't them doing anything.
* EeriePaleSkinnedBrunette: Lost Silver, Jeff and Laughing Jack.

* FauxAffablyEvil: They all Zig-Zag around this trope. They act friendly and playful towards Peridot, their summoner, and do the same to Chara while first invading her dream in "Friendship Ever After: A Doll Musical" (Zalgo in particular acts...[[AmbiguousSituation ambiguously]] [[NoYay flirty]] towards Chara). When the deal between them and Peridot is broken, however...they [[BerserkButton descend into downright murderous rage]]. And even though they were angry at first for being outsmarted by the group, in the end, they [[GracefulLoser politely congratulates them]] and [[VaguenessIsComing leave behind a warning]] before going away.
* TheFace: Altrough they do have their dialogue lines, Zalgo is by far the most talkative member of the Zodiac Demons.
* GracefulLoser: At first, its a AvertedTrope, since they start going in a murderous-esque rampage after they lose their deal with Peridot, [[spoiler: but ends up being played straight when they decide to leave the heroes alone with [[VaguenessIsComing a warning]]]].

* GreenAndMean: Ben Drowned, both in clothing and in a zombie-like skin. [[spoiler:The skin part is Averted when, as shown in "Frisk and The Secret World", while Garnet is in the Earth dimension, Ben's skin turns into a natural pale skin.]]

** [[spoiler: Their collective, well-earned demise inside Pearl's mind. Were they finally killed, or they are in a weak state? The story heavily lends to the former, especially because of their death, but the fact their major articles of clothing are left unscratched and Pearl's mind is not completely erased is suspicious.]]

* BewareTheSillyOnes: A group of demons that are not hitting well in their head and probably are [[PerpetualSmiler perpetually smiling]] in a pretty goofy way...and dangerous assasin monsters that will abuse and use anyone they can to achieve their objectives.

* CarnivalOfKillers: But different of the overall trope, they're not targeting a single character (unless someone who is brave/a fool decides to get in the way of their plans). They're only targeting a single goal that [[VaguenessIsComing for now is unknown]].

* TheDreaded: The author of the third book straight out warns agains't summoning them and, specially, beware of them all when they are together.

A group of ten demons that wander inside the dreams. Their first meeting with the Crystal Shack gang involved them being tasked by Peridot to steal a memory involving the deed of the Crystal Shack, but a cryptic message left behind by one of them makes it suspectful if it really would be the last time they would see them all.

* AdaptationSpeciesChange: Played straight with Sally, Jeff, Laughing Jack, Lost Silver, Ben Drowned, Eyeless Jack and Kagekao, since all of them change from, respectively, a human ghost, a human SerialKiller, a cosmic entity of sorts, a video game character, a ghost possesing a video game, a unclear creature and a japanese demon, to {{Eldritch Abomination}}'s. Since Zalgo, Slenderman and Sonic.exe were already eldritch abominations of their own, this trope is Averted for them.
* AdaptationalVillainy: Sally Williams switchs from a sad ghost of a little girl to a EldritchAbomination. Even then, she comes the closest to be the group's TokenGoodTeammate, since she ask's Slenderman to do something to make Frisk happy after the former eats and then spits the latter.
