* FragileSpeedster, GlassCannon: Tracer is ''extremely'' mobile and can attack even as she moves and as an Assassin, she ''will'' hurt a lot and catching of guard can be a complete hell. The tradeoff is that if she's caught and pinned down, it won't take long to kill her off.

The tradeoff is that if she's caught and pinned down, it won't take long to kill her off.

* GlassCannon: As an Assassin, getting caught by Tracer means losing a large chunk of health very quickly, especially if she has a ''Pulse Bomb'' ready. However, she tends to go down just as quickly if focused down.

Knowing who to shield and when is a big part of playing Zarya well, and can make or break and entire game.

Within the Nexus, she is classified as a Ranged Warrior, and she is mostly unchanged from how she plays in Overwatch. Her Q ability is ''Particle Grenade'', lobbing a ball of energy to explode on enemies. Her W ability is ''Personal Barrier'', which surrounds Zarya with an impenetrable barrier temporarily. Her E ability is ''Shield Ally'', which does the same for one of her allies. Unlike Tracer, however, Zarya has two Heroic abilities. ''Graviton Surge'' drags enemies into a gravity well, holding them in place. Her other Heroic, ''Expulsion Zone'' does the exact opposite, instead pushing enemies that enter the area out.

[[folder:Tracer]]
The main character and face of Blizzard's newest franchise after ''Heroes of the Storm'': ''VideoGame/{{Overwatch}}''. Lena Oxton AKA Tracer is a time-slipped ex-aircraft pilot who is an agent of the Overwatch organization and fought to protect the land with a beaming smile and joyful personality, regardless of the repercussions she faced, with her two hand guns and time-space manipulation.

A ranged assassin, Tracer is slated to be released in April, and those who pre-ordered either the Origins or Collector's editions of Overwatch will get her for free.
----
* DoNotRunWithAGun: Inverted. Tracer is the only character in the game capable of moving and attacking at the same time.
--> '''Tracer:''' [[LampshadeHanging Why can't the other heroes move while they shoot? It's a lot more practical!]]
* FragileSpeedster, GlassCannon: Tracer is ''extremely'' mobile and can attack even as she moves and as an Assassin, she ''will'' hurt a lot. The tradeoff is that if she's caught and pinned down, it won't take long to kill her off.
* GunsAkimbo: Wields a pair of futuristic handguns.
* MechanicallyUnusualFighter: Fittingly, she plays just like she does in ''Overwatch'', being able to use her basic attacks while moving and ditching the usual mana pool for an ammo mechanic.
** She's also the only hero in the game to have her Heroic Ability at level 1, with her level 10 talents instead augmenting it in some way.
* PistolWhip: Her ''Melee'' ability allows her to... [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin attack an enemy in melee range.]]
* ShesGotLegs: Her legs were modeled kind of absurdly long for this game. Add in a skintight suit, and you got this trope.
* TeleportSpam: Has two abilities that teleport her around the battleground. ''Blink'' moves her a short distance and has three charges. ''Recall'' transports Tracer to where she was three seconds ago and removes all negative status effects on her. Additionally, all of her level 7 talents allow her to use Blink more often under various circumstances.
* UnexpectedCharacter: Nobody saw Tracer's sudden reveal at Blizzcon 2015 coming, thanks to direct statements from Blizzard saying that they had no plans to put an ''Overwatch'' character into the game.
** TrailersAlwaysSpoil: However, Blizzcon 2015 also revealed the release date and preorder bonus of Overwatch's release, hinting that one of them being early playable Tracer.
