* TooDumbToLive: The signature dish challenge went better than it ever had in HK history, with 15 of the first 17 dishes earning at least some praise. Then Monique presented her dish last, where she admitted to using canned sauce without a care in the world (one of THE ways to immediately put yourself directly in kitchen donkey territory; other than Season 3's Rock and Season 16's Kimberly, no chef who used a prepackaged ingredient in their signature dish has even made it more than halfway through the competition). She then had the nerve to talk back to Chef Ramsay when he called her out on it, where she said she [[GenreBlind didn't know he wanted fresh sauce]]. She then said in the [[ConfessionCam confessional]] that [[InsaneTrollLogic only Italians bother to make their own sauce]].

* ManipulativeBastard: Shows signs of this, such as by sending Chad up with an improperly prepared salad, and tends to get other people to take dishes that aren't done properly up to the pass in her place.

* JerkAss: Sometimes. By her own admission she knew she could be a bitch, and several times throughout the competition she would come off as rude and condescending. Like Robert however, she still was respected by fans (and her fellow contestants) because of her badass qualities.

* LaserGuidedKarma: Spent most of his time as a sexist towards the female chefs. His derogatory remarks about female marines in his elimination statement sparked an online backlash from viewers, as well as other active-duty or former military personnel. In response, the Marine Corps launched an investigation and ultimately removed Frank from his position on the Commandant's staff.

* DeadpanSnarker: Has gotten in a few of these.

* CoolOldGuy: At age 40 he was one of the oldest contestants of the season, and was a funloving guy who despite the opinions of his fellow competitors was extremely passionate about his work in the kitchen.

* GutturalGrowler: She had a pretty rough voice, although it wasn't to Anton's extent.

* CripplingOverspecialization: He generally did well in challenges, and even scored a perfect 10 out of 10 in episode 7's Greek food challenge. However, he was generally unspectacular at best during service, and in the following episode, tanked the blue kitchen's meat station and got sent home.

* CloudCuckooLander: Even from the PREVIEWS, he seems to be this.

* GracefulLoser: When he's eliminated, he takes it ''very'' well, and hugs Ramsay and the other chefs before leaving.

* InsaneTrollLogic: He had a tendency to throw any chef he could under the bus by telling them to watch food he already ruined. Whenever the food inevitably came back, he would say that since the other chef watched his food, his food was now their responsibility, thus his mistakes didn't count.
