* LovePotion: Going by some background posters and other hints, she apparently uses her skills at potion-making to brew and sell love potions. The kind that [[WebAnimation/HelluvaBoss Ozzy]] strongly disapproves of.

* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: She's an Overlord of Hell and a weapons dealer, but she deeply loves her daughters and would risk war with Heaven to keep them safe.
* EvilVirtues: [[MamaBear Protectiveness]]. She is fully willing to sacrifice her life to protect her daughters and prioritizes their safety over her own ambitions as an Overlord. Her protectiveness also applies, albeit to a lesser extent, to the rest of her criminal empire, as shown when she lends the hotel weapons but refuses to risk her own soldiers.
** Another is Love and Camaraderie, the former towards her daughters and the latter to her friend Zestial and her people. She also succinctly accepts help from a former Exorcist, showing willingness to forgive.

** Regardless of [[ImpliedLoveInterest whether or not]] they're [[UnholyMatrimony more than friends]], Zestial shares a deep friendship with Carmilla Carmine, being close enough that she willingly confides in him about her inner thoughts and emotions, like fear, the love for her daughters, and that she killed the Exorcist.

** In the Australian charity stream, he is stated by Viv to crave attention. According to Faustisse, due to having [[VillainousCrush a great passion for Alastor]] [[https://youtube.com/watch?v=4nbdDgqKCYA?t=4160 he does whatever he can to get him to notice him]].

* ManipulativeBastard: He lacks Vox's knack for public speaking or Velvette's head for politics, but on a personal level he's viciously skilled at getting people to do what wents through gaslighting, threats and exploitation.

* AchievementsInIgnorance: Carmilla had no expectation that she could kill an Exorcist, since ''nobody'' knew until that moment that it was even possible. One second she's [[YouShallNotPass diving at the Exorcist to protect her daughters]] [[HeroicSacrifice expecting to die]], and the next Carmilla's angelic weaponry has separated the Exorcist's head from their body.

* TheDitherer: Despite knowing how Exorcists can be killed, she worries over revealing such information to the rest of Hell, as it could put a larger target on her family and friends' heads and any further retaliation thoughtlessly handled risks increasing the bloodshed of the Exterminations to unwithstainable levels. Luckily Adam overconcentrating on Hazbin and Vaggie consulting Carmilla after discovering her secret grants her a shrewder way to help against the Exorcists.

* FauxAffablyEvil: He's informal and superficially friendly, but whenever he's angered the mask drops and Valentino becomes physical and aggressively forceful. And there's the fact that he's an honest-to-God ''rapist''.

** Another is Love and Camaraderie, the former towards her daughters and the latter to her friend Zestial and her people.

* JerkassToOne: Granted Vox is already a {{Jerkass}}, but he can at least [[FauxAffablyEvil act reasonable and polite]] to anyone if it will help his reputation ... with the one exception being to Alastor. Vox immediately drops his affable mask whenever Alastor is seen or mentioned and behaves like a sadistic and immature {{Troll}} who delights in seeing Alastor suffer. In fact, when Adam beats Alastor to a bloody pulp, Vox's only reaction is to cheer Adam on and gleefully curse at Alastor for getting defeated so badly.

* RootingForTheEmpire: An InUniverse example for Vox, and only because one of the demons the Exorcist is battling is his ArchEnemy Alastor. Vox hates Alastor so much that despite being a demon himself, he actually roots for the ''Exorcists'', angels that specialize in exterminating Vox's kind, to win the against the demons just so that he can see them kick Alastor's ass, and even cheers loudly when Adam does just that.

* PoorCommunicationKills: Her action of killing an angel directly led to the main conflict of the story, even indirectly dooming herself and her daughters. Still, she attempts to hush it up to prevent her comrades from declaring war. If not for Charlie's actions and Velvette's prodding in the meeting, all Hell would have been exterminated in the season 1 finale.
* PowerGlows: Her shoes and leg ribbons glow with a subtle white light, being made of angelic steel.

* {{Gaydar}}: A variant involving asexuals; Rosie's "ace in the hole" joke in "Hello Rosie" implies that she can tell that Alastor is an asexual person even though he is blissfully unaware of it.

* NinjaPirateZombieRobot: She is a weapons-dealing crime lord ballet dancer demoness who is also a mom of two.

* {{Sadist}}: Vox definitely finds happiness in seeing Alastor suffer. Vox's sadistic side can be best seen in "The Show Must Go On", when he proclaims he's gotten hard when he witnesses [[spoiler: Adam and Alastor about to fight]], and when [[spoiler: Alastor proceeds to almost die in his fight against Adam]], he proclaims: "[[BetterThanSex This is better than sex!]]".

** The Vees are openly antagonistic to the other Overlords, sending only one of their numbers to attend the meeting as a representative of the group as a whole. Said representative's first action is to generally insult all the Overlords there, insult the presiding Overlord, and finally insult the oldest (And seemingly most respected) Overlord. This results in the entire meeting being derailed and ended prematurely. [[spoiler: And the end of episode 8 shows that they intend to use the chaos of the latest Extermination to become the new dominant power among the Overlords]].
** Carmilla keeps the fact that [[spoiler:angels can be killed, and that she knows how]] secret from the other Overlords, something Velvette (The representative from earlier) points out could change the nature of the conflict entirely. Even when she does [[spoiler:reveal how angels can be killed]], she only does so after Vaggie points out that the Exorcists won't stop with the destruction of the hotel and will eventually come for her too, showing that she was entirely willing to let the other Overlords be killed so long as she wasn't threatened personally.
** Alastor is better about this, as he's at least able to work with his fellow Overlords (as long as they're not named Vox), but he too shows shades of this. He has no compunctions about spying on Carmilla, and even after learning [[spoiler:that Carmilla knows how angels can be killed]], he keeps it to himself until he's in a position where he can personally benefit from revealing it. Namely, [[spoiler:[[DealWithTheDevil telling Charlie in return for a favor at some unspecified point in the future]]]]. [[spoiler: And the end of episode 8 shows that he, like the Vees, intends become the dominant force of the Overlords, possibly all of Hell]].
** Of all the Overlords, only Rosie doesn't seem to be affected by this. She willingly throws her full support behind Charlie, and provides her with an army, after she and Alastor assure her that they have a plan to defeat the Exorcists, with her only condition that Charlie persuades the rest of Cannibal Town to go along with her. While it's implied that she has ulterior motives for her support, she's so far the only Overlord to aid Charlie with no strings attached, and the only Overlord to help her with defending the hotel that wasn't already obliged to do so (Alastor) or had to be convinced that doing so was better than letting the Exorcists kill everyone there (Carmilla).

* AllThereInTheScript: Although unnamed in the pilot, his name was first revealed in [[https://youtube.com/watch?v=88eEqclaDxU&t=2211s a stream]].
* AlmightyJanitor: Only in comparison to the other Overlords. Despite being one of the youngest Overlords in Hell, Vox notably battled Alastor and got away with it, even after Alastor had killed several far more ancient and seemingly more powerful Overlords. While he primarily uses manipulation and influence to pursue his schemes, this shows that Vox is no slouch in a fight.

* BloodFromTheMouth: Blood occasionally trickles from his mouth.

* GirlishPigtails: During episode 4 she wears a very large pair of these, which are loosely styled to resemble a heart. Falls a bit into the "crazy pigtails" variation given her advocating violence against the angels.

* AdultFear: The reason she gives for not wanting it known that she killed an Exorcist is the fear that the ensuing war would get her daughters, who she was protecting from the Exorcist, killed in the crossfire.

* BigBadWannabe: While by no means harmless, the Vees' biggest vice is their belief that their alliance makes them equal to, if not superior to older Overlords. Carmilla derides them as "smug wannabees" and Alastor suggests that their only strength lies in their alliance. The only threat they pose in the first season is to unfortunate employees like Angel Dust, leaving them as little more than minor nuisances compared to the greater threat of the Exorcists. [[spoiler:After the Extermination is thwarted, the Vees plan to take advantage of the disrupted status quo, suggesting they'll become a bigger problem in the future.]]

* SinkOrSwimMentor: Her training Vaggie how to fight angels consists of beating the crap out of her, pointing out her flaws (Both physical and mental) and repeating until Vaggie gets it. With a musical number about ThePowerOfLove thrown in for good measure.
