* NiceGuy: His personality can be described as this in ''X'', albeit in a different way than how he's usually portrayed in official works. He's quite smiley and cheerful, but not to the point of being a GenkiGuy. As well, he comes off as a bit quirky, but he's aware of things that may be considered "weird" by others, like wearing pink ribbons in his hair and carrying around a teddy bear to give off as "cute" aura. As well, one of his default gestures is a double thumbs-up.
* OutOfFocus: Even more so than usual in ''X'' in the song department, as he only has ''one song'' that isn't part of a medley. This is downplayed in the games story mode, however, as he appears just as much as the other Virtual Singers do and even assists Miku alone in the segment where the Cute Aura Cloud needs to be restored.

* ClothesMakeTheManiac: ''X'' takes the idea of the Crypton's being interpretative characters even further, as they not only change appearances with different modules, their personalities change as well based on the game's five different Auras, with those being Classic, Cute, Elegant, Cool, and Quirky. However, the way the Cryptons act with these auras varies. For example, a Cool Aura Miku is more assertive and a little distant, while Cool Aura KAITO comes off as more of a narcissist.
