An enigmatic Luminary Knight and controller of the Erste Empire as its top adviser, she menaces the crew's journey throughout the Phantagrande Skydom to recapture Lyria [[spoiler: until she gets arrested by the Enforcers]].

* BlackKnight: She fits the role very well as an enigmatic knight with incredible strength and a mysterious connection to Lyria. With that said, she's actually part of an entire order of [Color] Knights, and just happens to have a very fitting one.
* ContraltoOfDanger: [[spoiler:More so after the player sees her outside of her armor for the first time, since before then, her voice seemed to be affected by all the armor she wore (which made her voice sound even deeper).]]
* EnemyMine: [[spoiler: She and the crew have to work together after the latter springs her from her imprisonment. This awkward alliance lessens the more and more they learn about her past.]]
* PromotedToPlayable: She eventually became one of the Premium Gala gacha characters and is only available during that time.
* TheReveal: [[spoiler: It's later revealed that she's Eugen's daughter. He already knew that but the rest of the party did not.]]
* SamusIsAGirl: While it's quite blatant from her voice and the in-game journal makes no attempt to hide her gender, the characters are a bit taken back when they see her without the armor. [[spoiler: With the exception of Eugen.]]
* WellIntentionedExtremist: [[spoiler: Her only objective is to turn back the unaging, emotionless Orchis into the cheerful girl who used to be her best friend. The problem is that she doesn't give a damn about anything else and will gladly kill if it gets her closer to that goal.]]

Katalina's former commanding officer and the Erste Empire military officer formerly in charge of supervising Lyria. While fulfilling the duties of the empire, he takes every opportunity to take revenge on Katalina for humiliating him.

* AntiVillain: While he does have a propensity for sadism and petty revenge, his loyalty ultimately lies with the people of Erste and soldiers under his command.
* DisproportionateRetribution: His response to the player coming into contact with Lyria is to unleash a Hydra on them which kills them.
* EvilIsPetty: Whenever he sees Katalina, he drops everything he was doing to get his chance at revenge.
* PetTheDog: In a free quest on Golonzo Island, he's shown to have a nice side when he helps walk an old lady to her house.
* ScrewTheRulesImDoingWhatsRight: [[spoiler: When Freesia activates Deus Ex Machina and the citizens of the capital begin falling ill due to it draining their souls, he orders his soldiers to fall back and clear the way for the party so they can stop her.]]
* SuperMode: Via the power of dark essence, he can become some kind of [[MiniMecha mini-mecha]] with him interred at the center of the mecha.

* TheNapoleon: Being a Harvin, he has a height complex and takes offence to anyone who mentions it.
* PunnyName: ''Furias'' has one of the shortest tempers of any character in the game.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: At the end of the "Duelist of Eternity" event, [[spoiler:he decides that he's had enough of this experiment and leaves the facility, with his soldiers having to clean up the mess created by Mordecai and Luna.]]

Using everyone including the Black Knight as a pawn to achieve her goals for the prosperity of the empire, not caring for the commoners as long as she gets victory. She begins to actively pursue Lyria herself as part of her search for the Primal Beast, Akasha.

* CoatCape: She has a white military coat as a cape.
* FourEyesZeroSoul: Wears glasses, and has no qualms with cutting down her own troops or performing horrific experiments.
* DidntSeeThatComing: [[spoiler: She didn't expect Loki to start interfering with her plans and she didn't expect him to fill in the slot of Emperor, since she was intentionally taking advantage of lack of an emperor to pursue her goals how she saw fit. In fact, she didn't even expect an Emperor at all to take control of the Empire.]]

* LegacyOfService: Her family has been dutifully serving the Erste dynasty for decades, even when the Erste Empire was just a small kingdom on Ravi Island.
