Dewicking per TRS decision.

* BiTheWay: Identifies as pansexual, and dated Karolina Dean of the ComicBook/{{Runaways}}. Karolina almost immediately got together with Nico Minoru when they broke up, which... wasn't amicable, to say the least.

* AgeLift: Thanks to the Future Foundation being gone for what they felt was years, while in actuality only a year passed on Earth, Alex is notably a ''lot'' older than he was previously. It becomes more noticeable when Julie joins, since the two were previously much closer in age, but now he's half a decade older.

* BiTheWay: Identifies as pansexual, and dated Karolina Dean of the ComicBook/{{Runaways}}. Karolina broke up with her to be with Nico Minoru, and... it wasn't amicable, to say the least.
* JumpedAtTheCall: Mainly because her life at home sucks, and she wanted to get away from it. After being dumped by her girlfriend for another girl, going through a major bout of depression and being expelled from Empire State for bad grades (as a result of said depression), she decided to take ''anything'' to get her as far away from Earth as possible.

* StepfordSmiler: Though her internal monologue and recent history make it clear she's severely depressed and only just recovering from it, she doesn't ''show'' this and instead appears outwardly bubbly and upbeat.

* CanonImmigrant: Not the Yondu from the future version of the Guardians Of The Galaxy, instead he's an alternate version of him based on his [=MCU=] portrayal. He previously appeared in the ComicBook/AllNewAllDifferentMarvel relaunched ''Star-Lord'' series that took inspiration from the MCU version, adopting their backstory together in-canon, and again in ''Asgardians Of The Galaxy''.

* HeelFaceTurn: When he first appeared in ''Star-Lord'', he was a ruthless pirate and EvilMentor to a young Peter Quill, before being abandoned. He appeared more heroic in ''Asgardians'' and again here, having apparently decided to take missions to help people in exchange for cash.

* LikeFatherUnlikeSon: His "father" is an unrepentant villain. Bentley-23, however, is a legitimate good guy.

* {{Expy}}: His BrattyHalfPint and SmugSuper AboveGoodAndEvil personality brings to mind Quinten Quire from the X-Men.
* LikeFatherUnlikeSon: His "father" is an unrepentant villain. Bentley-23, however, is considers such things beneath him; he's not ''quite'' a legitimate good guy.guy, but considers villainy to be a waste of genius (heroism too, for that matter).

* TraumaticHaircut: Happens in issue 1, but is interrupted. Luckily, the bad guys only managed to shave a small area before nanites that had been placed into her hair disguised as shampoo shorted out the clippers. They decide to take her to the cells, and the nanites spread to the rest of the aliens' computer systems, so she avoids the full headshave. She's still not happy about it though.
