Both Nagisa and Honoka use offensive, physical attacks in battle, whereas Saki and Mai aligned more on magical attacks. While both Nagisa and Honoka only have one Cure alter ego, Saki and Mai later earned another Cure alter ego (Bright and Windy) besides their original Cure alter egos (Bloom and Egret).

Mai is much more relaxed and serene towards her passions, seeing how it has deep meanings to her and later drawing them heavily from inspiration. Whereas Honoka leaves at a BigFancyHouse that makes her a rich person, Mai lives at a normal house with a more average life with her family.
